SparkNotes

by em_jet I love it! It`s sooo wonderful to have this and to be able to download the sparknotes for offline use! There`s one thing that really bothers me though, whenever I turn on my iPod again and open the app it jumps back to the beginning, and I have to page through it all over again to get to the chapter summary I was looking at. If not opening to the page we were in, could you at least let us bookmark our place? That would make this perfect.

by Howerrd This is a great/useful app, and I`m glad that it finally exists. The only real criticism I have (the reason I gave 4 stars in lieu of 5) is that the advertisements are often in the way of the text, and there is no way to move them or turn them off.

I understand that this is a "free" app, and as such, ads are implicit. Nonetheless, it would be very helpful to either be able to lower the opacity of the ads or be able to pay a one-time fee for an "ad-free" version. I would gladly accept a nominal charge to remove the ads, as the entire reason I use the app is to save myself a little time.

Otherwise, the app is great. Moderately recommended; will change to highly if this issue is ever resolved.
