This app was really amazing at first for a person like me who loves song writing until after about 5 days ago it just started showing a black screen and I had all my songs on there So I hate this app now I would NOT GET IT you will lose all your songs like I did     Works and doesnt

Pretty good but when i tried to put a passcode on it it just quit out of the app othr than that good              Good

Great place to put youre original songs Does wrat it says Love the recording ability But i would recommend paying for the full version to avoid all the annoying advertisements that get in your face and automatically take you to the app store when you least expect it           Songwriter hd free version

I am a professional songwriterartistproducer and I LOVE this app I have written a ton of songs using it and its not only a functions word processor but a rhyme dictionary thesaurus and audio recorder It gives you the capability to chart the song using the Nashville number system as well as tablature You can save each song in standard folders that come with the app such as complete and in progress as well as personalized folders created by yourself There are many more functions and practical uses than I mentioned in this review and this is the free version I am about to purchase the full version just to see what improvements comes along with the paid app I highly recommend this app for the series songwriter or those of you that just dabble I only gave it 4 stars because there is not a field for co writer date of creation or publishing information Fix that and its perfect Gary Nichols              Wow download it NOW

I was beginning to like this app but in going into it today you had done the unthinkable put an ad for some game that could not be bypassed It was one of those wavingbackandforth things Im outa here     You did the unthinkable

I have been using this app since I received my iPad for Christmas I tried several but liked this one the best Now that you fixed the sections names and added features I love it even more I dont get to utilize the recording like you intended due to the way I write with melody and guitar I just record the entire idea on the first section which has worked well Thanks for the update              Thanks

Cant type a title a verse a chord anything Utter junk     It does not work

I love this app but I forgot my password and have no way to get to my songs There should be something after a certain number of trys that is like a hint to your password              Password forgotten

Buggy it freezes up too often and finally crashed losing about 20 songs Thankfully Id already sent several to BMI but I lost several in progress ideas that I had trusted to the app Bummer     Great app when it works

This app is perfect Composing lyrics is effortless and you even have the option of recording the melodies so if youre like me you cant forget them anymore You can create the lyrics along with the chords so when you come back to play it its almost like sheet musicGET THIS APP IF YOU WANT TO WRITE AMAZING SONGS The day I got this app I wrote the best song ever                 Its PERFECT

I really like this app I am an aspiring music writer and have my own music studio so that I can write down songs in sound but when it comes to writing wordschords or tabs its really difficult to find a good way to do it This app makes it simple and very easy to pick up for the first time I love this app and it really suited my needs thanks                 This thing is perfect for me

Ok I like the app but its bad Whenever I record something and try to play it it wont play And I dont even know what most of the buttons do U should include a tutorial on what to do And a lot of times the app has a really bad lag Plz fix it Im trying to write a song so fix it     Really

Great app Love the ability to record The only thing I found wrong was that when I added a prechorus it skipped a whole bunch of spaces Otherwise awesome                 Awesome

So I had this apps lite version and was using it for over 6 months Really liked it overall Today I updated to iOS 6 and I had to update the program Now at the top of the page the add blinks like crazy and moves around making it impossible to work This ad is so distracting and undissmissable what So I got the point you want me to upgrade However there is no upgrade in app you have to buy a new app and it doesnt automatically transfer your app data Looking elsewhere now Sorry you missed the mark and a sale because you didnt consider user experience with a terrible ad and the update process     Terrible ad

Something to do with the ads I think They take over they also dont work Really terrible experience before you even try the app     Buggy crashy

This is a super cool updated app but a few ideas 1Allow us to play more than one of the parts in a song at the same time 2Give us an option to add funky beats or special things to go with the song given from the app 3Allow us to put a pass code on the app 4 Make the full version free for a limited time I will be checking the app store daily Thanks for all of your help and support                 Suggestion

This is a great app You should only get this app if you like to write and make songs because you only really right in this game to make songs but its an awesome app I really love it but I think you can only make songs because I only had this app for one day                 Great

This app is great for capturing those early morning song ideas and even developing them to a full song If I could change two things Id like the option of whether or not that recording dialogue comes up or not How about exporting to chordPro format as well Great work              Much improved stability

I was excited about trying out this app but it just doesnt cut it Besides the flashingannoying ads that a lot of people have mentioned its near impossible to put the chord above the specific lyric you want I tried putting spaces then dashes between the chords to place them over the lyrics I want but it just isnt working out for me This app is so close to being really awesome but just isnt cutting it See ya        Well

Installed and uninstalled in ten minutes because it seemed like the main purpose of the program was solely to promote other business     Created just to place ads

Im in a band and we needed something to help us record music help us and keep it organized And this app does beyond that I love it My band is gonna be thrilled with what I can do                 The best

Let me start by saying I love this app It works great and is awesome for writing Especially like how it will tell you rhymes and synonyms for selected words However this app would be perfect if 1 there was a way to put the chords above each line of words and 2 if they made it so we could have multiple font sizes and bolding options in the same song Thanks guys keep up the great work              Great App But
