Downloaded this game for my nieces and nephews and found myself using it to pass time inline at grocery store and keep my 50year old brain sharp Its awesomeness Great mind sharpener

With a generous 199 price tag this game was a definite home run for the kids Forewarning be prepared to hear a lot of Can I borrow the phone momdad after showing kids this game Because of that the iPad version is a god send for when I actually need to use the phone as you know a phone The controls are smooth because they rely on touchscreen There is no awkward and frustrating virtual buttons or analog sticks Though I bought this for kids to enjoy I believe Solar Skate can rank among edutainment games that I grew up with like Math Blaster and Oregon Trail Legitimate Edutainment

This game is already a family hit I love the polished simplicity that reminds me if the games I grew up with and my kids love tilting and tapping the phone and iPad They love the Grompound characters and story especially the new Ollie and I love that they are learning geometry and to take a stand against bullying I even heard my daughter instructing a playmate the other day on skateboard terminology and techniques so we are seeing real world application already haha Hitech meets classic fun

I downloaded this for my daughter with disabilities and she is really drawn to the characters She is able to use the tilt and touch controls with ease The math is at a high elementary low middle school level so its a little above her but it starts slow so she can do some of the early levels on her own Daughter Loves

My son and I both enjoy this game He loves the game characters setting and game action so the math problems tucked in like healthy green veggies in delicious pizza sauce are hardly noticed by him How cool is that The math is just a fun challenge not a burden when playing but as you progress through the levels there is a neat dual sense of accomplishment I dont usually review games but had to share in this case Great game Hidden veggies
