Love this app I have the actual channel on my tv but I like this because I could just browse and see stuff without having to record it or be on tv a certain time Awesome

Out of all the other television apps out there I keep finding myself gravitating back to this one Smithsonian truly knows how to market their material very well so their intriguing notifications come to my phone such as how Yellowstone is a supervolcano or how animals behave toward each other etc and I end up watching their short videos I especially love watching their content because you are guaranteed something of educational value If you dont have this app get it You will learn something you didnt know before Absolutely Awesome

Still need serious improvement to bring this app into the 21st century Irritating because videos start playing immediately upon selecting There is no chance to decide if you want to watch based in content running time or many other factor Love the channel Use the iPad app because Comcast near Chicago does not carry this in HD Still needs some serious work

Sometimes it seems to work ok other times the video is pixelated andor choppy or stops altogether while the audio continues They need to take a lesson from TED didnt have any problems there when Smithsonian videos were choking Was hoping for better

Very entertaining and informative with great content I wish this channel was included in my cable service I use this app every day

The Smithsonian channel has some very compelling content but a lot of the material that they present here are just teaser clips there arent as many full episodes as I would like Also the video quality could be better During high motion seems theres lots of jumping as frame rates are decreased to accommodate the bandwidth that they want to target Good content but needs more of it

I love the Smithsonian and their videos but this app has its issues For some odd reason my volume doesnt work Ive checked my volume on my phone and on the app How can you watch the video and learn the information without hearing what they are sayingexplaining I really hope they get this fixed Other than the sounds not workingthis app is the absolute best I love the Smithsonianbut the app

This app is honestly super interesting and you cant really get bored on it You learn a bunch of stuff too Quality app

Wouldnt fully load before the update and it still wont load after the updates I try to delete the icon but it wont let me I try to delete the app but it wont let me Annoying and annoyed Wont Load

Recently the fullepisodes have been loaded to this app without the narration and only play background music Glitchy issues on multiple videos as of late Please fix the audio problems soon Trouble lately

I love this fascinating and and visually intoxicating application The stories are entertaining educational topnotch productions The software must be state of the art because it never has a glitch Even in places that have a very weak Internet system this program runs All I can say is well done Stunning
