This app can be very useful for teachers However it crashes virtually every time that I listen to a students music submission It seems like that sort of bug should have been caught and fixed before the app was released I would also like to see the app for students released as soon as possible as many of my students mistake this one for a student app I enjoy using SmartMusic in my classroom as a teaching tool but more development needs to be done on this app before this is truly a useful tool for teachers Okaybut

yapper stupid yours doesnt let you sign in to your care and doesnt let you play the music that you were assigned to It says you have to sign into a teachers accountI think you shouldnt half to sentence which account so its quick and easy to get into unusful app

This app is useful once you get past the vague confusing learning curve and the inadequate documentation but they didnt put enough effort into the interface It looks like it was designed and tested by developers but never tested by end users The navigation is unclear theres a lot of wasted screen space and the buttons dont do what you think theyre going to do If theyre going to charge people money they need to follow through spend some resources and offer an interface that helps the user make sense of the content Im tempted to call and cancel my subscription on the basis of this phonedin attempt at an app Somewhat Useful App Poor Interface

There needs to be an app for students College students need to have the ability to have a mobile SmartMusic option Music majors spend hours in the practice room and would all benefit from an iPhone app that they can take with them As a college prof myself and an avid SmartMusic user SmartMusic would have so many more customers if a mobile app was available Dont forget higher ed

Couple of issues Touch sensitivity while entering a grade is not the best Also audio works fine through headphones however when listening via the iPad speaker only the student audio is audible I cant hear the accompaniment or metronome click Speaker issues

This is a great app and an outstanding tool for music educators Because of the app Ive become a big fan of SmartMusic and will use it in our schools band program like many successful programs that already do Its a shame many of the reviews are from students who thought the app was for their student subscription I know were all looking forward to that app I saw the beta version at out state convention and it looks great Until then this app is for teachers to manage the hundreds of tests they need to grade each year Its quick and a great way to hear all my students and provide helpful feedback Great for teachers

I use this app several times a week It is so convenient but is quite buggy and Ive been waiting a year for an update to fix the bugs When I go through the submissions using the up and down arrows the pages dont always refresh fully When I go to next student their grade is filled with the previous students grade when it should be blank Its easy to get confused and think you have graded that assignment but in reality you have given the second student the first students grade Ive learned to live with it but I wish they would take time to fix it Smartmusic

I love that I can brush my teeth and listen to student assessments but I have a lot of problems with the app freezing and ultimately crashing Im on an iPhone 5 too so its not even old technology Convenient but buggy
