The Slashdot reader is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.2 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 0.9 has been released on 2014-04-29. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. The placement of ads between the story and all the comments makes it impossible to scroll down to see all the comments without inadvertently clicking an ad and being redirected It is so insidious that I suspect the app and web site are conspiring to inflate pay per click revenue The latest version of the app seems much worse than before Otherwise it is a great app but this makes it unusable So it gets just 1 star     Impossible to avoid clicking ads RobotNbr007

develop other stuff I want the option to go ad free I cannot stand ads on my important apps This is a great app and it deserves 5 stars but I wont confer a 5 without a full range of options or in this case one key option             Offer an ad free option or boboneill

I would give this app a 5 star rating until recently when it stopped loading articles I have had the app for about 2 months and until about 3 weeks ago it worked great Now it won t load articles but an ad banner pops up Please fix this so I can read slash dot again         Worked great then stopped Skyposiedon

I have had this this app for years on various I phones and I have had no problem with it until recently I can confirm that no articles load but an ad banner at the top does It would be nice to have this fixed so I don t have to use my phones browser     App does It load Gipeo1986

This is a very simple and clean way of reading slashdot It lets you read articles comment on them and share but not much else It d be nicer if it had a few more options and account integration Other than that it s just what a slashdot reader needs                 Great app iGaucho
