Is Skype siphoning off iOS contacts?
by

Just loaded the new iOS app on my 4s... up popped a box telling me how safe it is to store "Skype contacts" on the Skype server ... I think this has always been the case, because after loading Skype on a new device, all contacts were loaded in from Skype`s server ... So, I became suspicious, that this reference was unclearly asking for permission to load iOS contacts onto the Skype server ... I also figured that it would later be possible to change this in the Skype app settings ... so I declined, what I thought was, to transfer contact information onto the Skype server ... the app then seemed to crash ... so I restarted it, and it again asked permission ... I declined ... and it terminated again ... guess I`m not going to be using Skype anymore ... (I`m very glad that in a few weeks face-time will be available over 3G!)
