Sky News International for iPad

This app was fantastic on iPhone and iPad They removed the live stream from the iPhone paid app last year that made this useless Now we have lost audio from the live stream on the iPad     No Sound

Ive reported that the live video feed has had no sound four times during the last four daysand it STILL has no sound Can you imagine a broadcast company beaming its programs with no sound for four days     AmazingNO SOUND for the last four days

Even looks good in Apple TV via AirPlay                 Nice

If you are one those people like to watch the news while listening to something else this is the app for you in its current state The LIVE stream currently displays video but no audio Please get this sorted Prior to the most recent update I loved this app     News on Mute

Big fan of Sky News Was so happy to see the international app version Pros Love the transition of stories and video Looks simple and easy to navigate Love that it has a live video feed Cons Video repeats itself after 5 seconds of play Major bug Live video shows black screen after a few seconds but you can still hear the audio All in all not the standard I was expecting As soon as e bugs are sorted out it will be great Now can we have Sky Sports News international app           Not quite ready

The app has a timeline of video clips that scrolls horizontally with the most recent clip on the far right and also the ability to stream the live 247 Sky News channel Airplay is supported so if you have an Apple TV you can watch on the big screen It all works flawlessly in my experience Content is sometimes Britcentric with weather reports for British Isles with temps in degrees Centigrade but hey its a free streaming news channel Pretty cool                 Free streaming news channel

Since updating to iOS 812 No audio in live stream but recorded videos work 1231 update I tried Livestation and the SkyNews live stream does have sound Sound also works within PC browser Come on Sky please fix this     Good App But No Sound in latest iOS update

The audio works great on videos and the live feed January 10 2015 Today I reorganized some apps and saw a large amount of complaints about the audio in this app I also learned French 24 is a great backup app to sky news So heres a 5 star review to remind you to get this app As I did the welcome and looked around I realized here are a few other bugs when exploring stories Not all content wanted to load But I love the timeline importance feeds and jumping to live is so cool              First time user amazing concept noticed some bugs

This app is really the best news app out there unlike other apps where you are blasted with ads this is just news Big respect to the App developers you have really made an exceptional app that is easy to use and innovative This has also features live news too which is pretty awesome                 Best news app

In live view no sound Works fine in all other views        Same no sound iPad

This morning there is audio on live broadcasting Thank you for fixing              Sound working

Using the live feed button there is no sound Is Sky aware of this     No sound

Nice layout and UI but seems to be crashing every time I want to watch Live TV Also please add some sharing capabilities via Facebook Twitter email etc           Sharing

A fresh take to news presentation it shows all the relevant context of the news in a truly brilliant way Charts graphs history of the people being discussed maps of the event timelines Im actually replacing my main news app with this and even if its going to have paid content later on its certainly worth it And trust me once you view the app youll be asking yourself Why has it taken mankind this long to get here It really is brilliant                 The way you wished news would be presented

Gets to about 65 it seems then gives errror stating cannotdownload at this timeretry or cancel     New version will not install

I love this app I live in the US and dont have cable TV Ive been searching for an international news station I could watch live I found Sky News on the Livestream app I am seriously impressed with SNs app First of all the graphics are handsome Clean minimal perfect amount of info Nothing flashy or crazy Second the interface is great Easytouse intuitive and also fun to use Third and very importantly the news packages live and on demand are interesting professional and trustworthy Im sooooooo happy I found a great news source delivered on an awesome platform Thank you you are the best                 Fantastic news app

Got this app in May when we got our iPad and it worked fine until this week now the video loads 1second then plays 1second and so on Maybe the expected Royal Birth has increased traffic Could this be the cause              Good at first

Im guessing Sky doesnt care enough to fix this Sad because that renders the app all but useless     No sound on Live feed

This app is AMAZING Its the future of news Its simple as that If you want to know the days news you can go check the timeline where the main news are organized around videos articles and infographics You can also check the live streaming and the streaming its fantastic Real news from all over the world you see correspondents in tough spots all over the world there are well informed analystsNot pundits on the screen This week I could see reports about both the Israeli and the Jordanian elections with on spot reportingthere is a scene where a settler calls the reporter an antisemite Alex Crawford travelling through Mali with French Troops and correspondents from Beijing analysing North Korea plans to build rockets Its refreshing considering that fluff is dominating the both versions of CNN and considering the news channels that are available in the US                 Its the future of News

Great news wish there were more international stories Id give it 5 stars but it keeps freezing Either just the picture or both picture and audio and I have to close the app and restart I go through this probably 4 times a morning              Good news but freezes
