So this app is gorgeous easy to use and cool if you JUST WANT SIMPLE NOISE I didnt read when I purchased but it doesnt have anything else like rain fire etc BUT for what it does provide it does it very well           Good but

The large volume slider a focal point of this apps design now disappears when you touch it in the modern version of iOS     Abandonware

Great app for iOS 6 and its got some issues for iOS 7 Most annoying is that the iPhone volume screen shows up when in other apps while this is runningvolume is very odd and flaky Please update it soon        I wish theyd fix this app

I use this app daily with my 2 year old and newborn and I love it But I would like to see some new features added A fade out option with a selectable intervals eg 5 mins 100 to 0 It would also be great to see fade out length options 12345 minutes and specific shut off times in sleep timer Ex 730am so if the 5 minute fade out were chosen with a 730am shut off the fade out would start at 725am Thanks              New feature Ideas

Ive used this app and website for several years now and have enjoyed every bit of it Typically I prefer Pink Noise and am able to reduce outside noise increase privacy and soothe my busy mind The nature sounds are very enjoyable to me as well                 Gives me a calm mind

3 weeks ago I developed a steady ringing in my ears which drove me crazy the first two days I have been adapting to it but I guess its also got me stressed since Im not sleeping well This app helps to mask the tinnitus and make it tolerable and somewhat helps me sleep I need to work on some relaxation techniques too because my insomnia is really bad But the app is very helpful to make the ringing less noticeable and I recommend it for anyone with tinnitus                 Sanity saver

Its working fine with iOS 7 its on a charger Im using an iPhone 5s and its masking my neighbors annoying heat pump Im using white noise over a Bluetooth speaker between me and the heat pump and its steady rather than oscillating The only problem and it probably wont bother you is that it keeps making me think about the TV in Poltergeist If I should suddenly hear a disembodied voice saying Theyre baaaack Ill not be very surprised                 I could not be more pleased

I use it at work to block out noisy coworkers in open floor seating at home to get my baby to sleep and each night when Im sleeping as well It doesnt have any of those weird repetitive sounds on loop like some white noise tracks its just like having a nice consistent fan or static in the background You can also pick between a few wavelengths my favorite is brown noise to find something that appeals to your ears Its one of my most used apps and I cant live without it                 I love this app

I loved this app on my iPhone 4S while it still had iOS 6 With iOS 7 Ive noticed the oscillation effect lowers the brown noise to almost 0 regardless of whether it oscillation is set to high medium or low Totally defeats the purpose Hope this is just temporary        Glitchy after iOS 7

They need to fix some glitches Volume icon wont disappear when oscillation is on kind of annoying if I want the noise while I browse or whatever Also range of oscillation needs some tweaking        Glitchy

Pretty glitchy It doesnt work right when plugged in to a dock which is a huge pain The oscillation is the only compromise for me and my husband and it wont work when plugged in Hes the only reason I got it Im looking for a better app right now I wish I hadnt bought it     Poor decision

This app seems to work well to mask the bass of the neighbor next door although there are a couple of things that are just baffling to me First why have the timer default be 22 hours It would be great if it remembered what I set it for the previous night Also this turns the overall play volume down on everything else if I am going to listen to iTunes or pandora the next day I have to adjust the gasoline from 0 It would be nice if it were a bit friendlier in those ways Still does the job and is cheaper than a physical machine              Mostly good a couple of annoyances

This is amazing technology that I am bound to used again and again I only wish that the information in the settings would scroll so I could read all of it and maybe know what the different noise colors were for              Results in the first night

I loved this app in iOS 6 but in 7 the audio is too soft Also the oscillation spread needs to be smaller Its too extreme from silent to loud now Oscillation is what made this app the best for me I loved the variation in white noise volume It made the sound more organic I hope they update to iOS 7 soon        Needs a serious update iOS 7 broke the sound

The app disables the ringer Good thing I awoke to the sound of vibrations Please fix I am on call for work and need to hear my ringer        Ringer disabled

I love this app so much I can actually sleep all night without waking Next to my husband who sometimes snores loud enough to wake the dead Seriously All night The only thing I have noticed though is that I have very wild and vivid dreams when using it I sometimes wake up shaking my head at some of the weird stuff that ran through my head                 Amazing app

The noises kind of just sound like static at different pitches They honestly do the opposite of calm me down or make me more concentrated They just make me stressed out and give me a headache        I expected better

I would have given this five stars if I had reviewed it earlier but unfortunately it is now broken A simple elegant soothing noise generator but not updated for iOS 7 The oscillate feature can no longer be used when running in background because the volume level view remains active Very disappointing since I used this feature a lot Has this app been abandoned by its developers     Please upgrade to iOS 7

Ive been using this app to make white noise to block out household sounds while the baby is sleeping and it has been great We have it running on an old iPad in the nursery all night When shes fussy while we are out I just turn it on and throw my iPhone in the stroller with her Worth every penny                 Great for babies

This is the most unreliable and slow loading app on my iPhone 5 Why is an app whose only purpose is to mimic their website so bad at what it does Animations are useless and add to how cumbersome this app feels and often times it will just stop playing sound requiring me to close and reopen the app     Terrible execution

With oscillation on if you exit the app the volume graphic stays on so you cant see Also when you watch a video both the app and the video player mute           Some bugs

Ive been carrying around a white noise machine for years on trips Its bulky but super effective A friend suggested I start tiring some apps The brown noise at 70 on this app is so similar to my physical device its just awesome Another thing I really like is youre not using any data of your data plan when youre using it You can prove that by turning your phone to airplane mode while using it                 Perfect

I dont remember what I paid not much But the paid version of the app doesnt have the basics I would expect and that I do get from other apps Namely the ability to play more than one color noise simultaneously and to play under other audio app I would like the oscillation except instead of modulating itself it turns my headphone volume up down Every other white noise app I have is a better product at a better value     Not worth the money lacks basic features

First the sound is fantastic And tied for first is the OUTSTANDING design Sleek simple and gorgeous My favorite sound is brown noise The ONLY problem with this app is that when I play the noises with the oscillation feature which is like an exquisite brain massage I cant play the app in the background because even though the app closes and the sound continues a big square with the volume icon wont go awayand blocks my view I hope this will be fixed If it were not for this major flaw it would be perfection              Absolutely wonderful

the guy who sits next to me at work is constantly whistling and the only time hes not is when hes busy sounding like a cow whos foot is stuck in the mud because hes chewing with his mouth open I crank the white noise on my headphones and I cannot hear anything else I listen to this cuz it doesnt distract me from thinking like music does I find it actually helps me concentrate and focus more listening to nothing is not an option when u sit next to an annoying coworker who has manners sub par to a yellow lab thank you for making this app you have saved this misophoniac much pain and my coworker                 lifesaver at work

Excellent work for a simple sound generation app The interface is clean the sounds are high quality and the options are uncluttered However developers need to address a few issues On occasion around the selection buttons an indented square appears in the same manner as the water droplet animation after pressing a button as if the animation extends into the edges of the buttons defined area on the screen Its strange and greatly affects the visual UE Either adjust the animation to be smaller widen the button AOE on the screen for the animation or change the animation to a simple indent like in your other app SimplyRain Timers do not always work Sometimes although a timer is set for one hour I wake hours later to the app still running and playing noise This is annoying and defeats the purpose of a timer It also interferes with my alarm clock on occasion which is not something my boss would like to know Inapp and device volume should be identical When inapp or device volume is adjusted it should be reflected as a 11 ratio on the other source the two sources being inapp and device This would make it easier to precisely adjust the volume when the device screen is off Once these aesthetic and usability tweaks are made this app will become one of the best noise generators on the App Store           Good qualityneeds a few improvements

Great Application for on the road However Reactors SimplyRain application supports airplay I use the airplay feature to run through my Yamaha A3020 Reciever However the SimplyNoise Application does not support Airplay              Airplay

I never write reviews for anything I had to write a review for this app Im the kind of person that has to have complete silence to sleep If someone is talking or I can hear any noise at all it keeps me up Sometimes I also have trouble falling asleep when my brain is too busy This app puts me to sleep so easily and drowns out all the noise I use it every night Its especially helpful when Im staying at my friends house and his guest room is connected to his dads office where I can hear him typing and printing away at 3am lol I turn on the white noise at full volume and Im out Its simple and it works Fantastic app So glad I found it                 This app is everything

The app stops emitting noise if the screen rotates Highly impractical for me I use the Smart Alarm app as well which requires the iPad to be on the bed If I bump my iPad during the night it often turns off the SN app and I wake up from the sudden lack of noise I set the SN sleep timer so itll ideally stop playing right before my alarm to make for an easier wakeup The app also stops making noise once you travel away from the SN home screen I cant use it for studying in this case I still love Simply Noise on my computer its just a bummer than I cant use it on my iPad        Good product poor integration

This is a great app for concentration or sleeping Now that I have updated to iOS 7 the app does not work right Setting the volume glitches the app and the oscillation will go between some volume and mute Other apps were updated for iOS 7 why not SimplyNoise     Does not work on iOS 7

The construction outside my building has cost me many sleepless mornings and grouchy days I read about this app and paid the 99 cents rare occurrence lol Worth every one of those 99 pennies I put my headphones in and the pink noise and i drift into rem sleep so quickly I wake up so refreshed GET THIS if you want to drain out noise and just sleeeeepp                 I can sleep again

I too have noticed the volume level drops significantly every night after about 10 minutes This happened before but seems like the problem was fixed and then it started happening again I had started turning the app off and then back on but the volume level still would drop after about 10 minutes PLEASE FIX THIS because I really have enjoyed this virtual white noise app over the actual white noise device I use this app on trips and its been wonderful but this problem needs to be fixed        Simply noise stops working or volume drops
