I also experienced the problem another reviewer noted about using the TouchControl functions with the EasyTek App but the solution of using the TouchControl App works App is pretty intuitive and gives great control over HAs Especially like the configurator adjuster available in Universal program The developer needs to do a better job of letting customers reach them for support The support link here just takes you to the Siemens corporate siteno links to customer support of the apps              Great App with Minor bugs

The app does what it represents although not completely initiatively and not repeatedly reliable which is a PROBLEM for a medical device app After much frustration and time searching for answers I stumbled on a workaround for a big issue The problem you set the program mode you want for the hearing aid and when the phone is closed the easyTek reverts to Music Player The workaround is that when starting the phone and anytime bluetooth is turned back on swipe from bottom of phone screen select AirPlay and change it from easyTek to iPhone Whenever easyTek connects AirPlay defaults to easyTek instead of the phone As long as AirPlay remains on iPhone you no longer loose your program selections when closing the phone or the app              Almost Great not quite yet

The only thing worse than the easyTek as a product is the customer service I experienced after my easyTek stopped working Over rated and overpriced Never would be too soon to buy another Siemans product     Poor productpoorer customer service

This app worked great with my iPhone 5 but until they do an upgrade it is worthless Why doesnt Siemens at least tell us when this might happen        Not for iPhone 6

The only major thing I have a issue with is volume control and basstreble control I would like the option to place them back into their default position or have an indicator on the adjuster line for the neutral location Also would it be possible to have a feature that turns off the hearing aid microphones when listening to music via streaming to allow more quieter listening           Works Well

Update 5122015 Ive just had my FOURTH EasyTek die This one in less than a week No useful info from Siemens The 4212015 update didnt help at all Still a battery killer 41 in a recent check Im on my 3rd device Very unreliable The 4 loud beeps when Bluetooth connects and disconnects is really annoying especially since every time you use Siri you get 4 beeps Siris beep And the 4 more beeps Their ux person must have worked on old 8bit video games 1 Absolutely the biggest battery killer Ive ever seen for an iPhone app If I lightly use it Ill get most of the way through the day on a charge If I use it for any period of time Ill need to charge the iPhone 2x a day The Usage panel shows that EasyTek uses 13 to 34 of the battery between charges 2 Bluetooth isnt terribly reliable Sometime it will connect sometimes it wont I find that Im manually reconnecting 2x a day 3 Bluetooth isnt terribly flexible Switching connection between phone and laptop for a VoIP app isnt reliable and often requires lots of fiddling 4 Connect and disconnect tones are pretty annoyingly implemented Especially when you try to use it with Siri You get the easyTek tones and the Siri tones 5 Battery indicators are nearly useless for both the instruments and the easyTek Week old batteries show full and then go to zero instantly The easyTek battery indicator doesnt have enough granularity to catch that a charge is going to be needed soon 6 Ive had to use the pinhole to reset the easyTek It went from working to frozen None of the lights lit none of the buttons worked and it wouldnt charge 7 Id expect more battery life from the device itself Ive had days where Ive had to charge it midday In summary for 5000 hearing aids and from a company like Siemens Id expect a much more polished product iPhone 6 latest OS     Awful product Avoid Like The Plague

Ive Always been fond of the easytek integration with my hearing aid but since the last app update on the iPhone it started accusing that my induction cable is disconnected and I can no longer use the easytek I wish a new update is made available Thanks     Bad software after most recent update

It takes a little bit of understanding to get all the systems in sync all the time When everything is connected it works like a charm However if you do not set up the pairing each morning the programming apparatus tends to go off on its own and decides the program best for your environment which is impossible to change without reconnecting the devices              Very good systemIt works well when

App works as expected However the touch control within the easyTek app is buggy You can get it to work but the volume button is maxed out yet the aids are at the default volume set by the dispenser This occurs on any program that is programmed by the dispenser Disable the touch Control within easyTek and use the separate touchControl app when not using your easyTek or you dont have it with you The touchControl app works flawlessly Be advised that you can eliminate ambient noise when streaming any audio This procedure is in your manual              Updated to 143

This app does not load on Apple touch iOS 83 or 84 It did work on my iPhone 4 with iOS 7 I installed this app on 4 devices total as a test3 Apple touch 2 using iOS 83 1 using iOS 84 and one iPhone 4 The iPhone 4 worked     Does not load App shows blacks
