I was excited to think that I could play music on my tree without having to plug anything in So far I have not been able to make that work The app will control the tree turn it on off and change the display Every time I try to play music it just plays on my phone Another issue is it connects to my phone with its own WiFi I would prefer to be on my home WiFi connect via Bluetooth Great tree not such a great app or concept Doesnt make a ton of sense
I was psyched to avoid the remote and use the timer but after dling and installing it simply didnt work Doesnt shut off with timer doesnt turn it on or off and doesnt adjust lights Lousy app that doesnt work at least for me Im on an iPhone 5 with iOS 74 It seems to connect and I have airplay on with Show selected but no good it doesnt control anything Avoid Didnt work at all

I took one of my Apple Airport Extenders and relocated it next to the tree then plugged the cable from the tree to speakers port of the Express Using Airplay I just add that Express to it and it works great Apple Show Tree
Original unsent reviewLove the tree Hate the app Booklet said to down load it onto my smartphone I could only find the app through ITunes Cant get the music to play either All I can do is turn it on off and change the light settings I can do all that with the remote it came with Unless they make some changes dont bother with the app New review After reading the other reviews I played with my iPad and got music to play Yea But I cant use anything that requires wifiinternet access while the music playes It only works if your airplay is connected to show tree Better but still a far cry from useable Changed my mind
