Its very good for an app in its beginning stages In the future there should be an inapp bookmark system and perhaps instapaper support              Great app

Do not buy This app does not work period This app has not been updated in four years and it no longer works Why is Apple an accomplice to these grifters Apple should regulate these applications by testing them to see if they work or what was the time frame of the last upgrade I think Apple is complicit in this graft Apple should be more consumer friendly in regard to these applications because once you purchase a fake app your money is gone forever and this is not right     Warning

Happy I decided to buy this app I love Digg in PC browsers and have been disappointed with other News apps so far shovel does a great job with the intuitive interface and getting out of the way so you can read the content Noticed a few minor glitches and not all the web functionality but I am pleased Thanks              Good start

This app could have been good But no one has updated it in months not even to fix the original bugs Dont buy Seriously     Abandonware

Waiting for an update Love shovel on the iPhone but this iPad version is completely useless Developers should take my money and then post that this is not a functioning app Willing to be patient but its been over a month     Doesnt work

This app has too many bugs to be released to the App Store Every time I try to use it it will refresh the stories in the side panel but the story being viewed in the big screen wont change no matter what I press I can click on any story but it will not let me view itworthless app It says it is in early beta stage but that app was last updated in April 2010 If they truly appreciate their customers they should have updated out of this early beta app You will be disappointed if you purchase this I think the developer has abandoned the app DO NOT PURCHASE if you want to read Digg     Really really buggy

Great app that is well worth the price Its pathetic Digg doesnt already have something official but even if they did it would probably be as crappy as their iPhone app and nowhere near as well done as this It will earn its 4th star from me when load more works and doesnt load more of the same and its 5th star when they add options for viewing the top stories in 7 days 30 days etc           Very nice

I know you still have a lot of work to do but this app is straight up incredible already You took a great idea and were able to make it even better with the increased realestate Ive been a fan of Shovel since the early 10 days and you guys continue to impress Keep up the good work 5stars                 Outstanding

This has a very nice feel just wish it had more than 8 or 10 article in the left hand window maybe a option to select how many articles to pull at a time           Very Nice UI

Too many bugs to be sold now I love Digg but this app does not get you anything for the money You only see the headline when you click on a story to read the whole thing you have to visit the site Why the extra step Plus the load more stories does not work often brings up the same list of stories        Not worth buying

This is way better than using Safari Love the drop window when you visit a site A must for digg users              Very well made

Good start for an app I used extensively on the iPhone Built in browser needs back and forward buttons Frustrating when you accidentally click a link and cant get back to where you were Also really needs ability to tweet a story or link and post to instapaper and readitlater With these changes I think I would likely use it more than I do currently           Good start

Wow I was a bit nervous buying the app with so few reviews but very worth the few bucks Much better for me than the recent iPhone diggmade app which was driving me crazy Very snappy view of comments and articles and I like the way comment threads are displayed I checked out the reviews on the iPhone app before I bought the iPad version agree that the green icon is way cool and you should keep it Only suggestion I have would be to allow more stories to load in the window on the left I seem to always be hitting the more button Seems silly not to just load all or many more of them Also it would be great if we could customize our story list combine politics tech and entertainment for example Great job                 Impressed

This app makes it so much easier to read dig than with Safari You dont have to continuously jump back and forth the digg site and article as with safari you just have al list of the articles on the left and the article itself displays on the right Convenient and well worth the price              Excellent app

This was one of the first apps I purchased and unfortunately it does much less than using a browser There are many interface problems You cannot read full articles from app even if choosing the visit site Also this app came out with the iPad launch but has a large note at the top of the description stating its the first version and that we should consider before rating as they had no access to the iPad ahead of time However it is still on version 10 and there is nothing but a large Ad type of description that is the same on the developer site or the site Thats itno links to anything no way to ask for help nothing Where is the support Unacceptable     SAVE YOUR MONEY

Ive had this app for over a year now In the beginning it was decent Now I cant get it to work anymore Yes Ive uninstalled yes Ive reinstalled yes Ive rebooted etc etc It will load new stories but it seems after you read one story visiting their site the app then wont load new stories Ive given up I expected an update only to be let down The dev has had more than enough time to test their app theres no reason a 3 app thats been around for so long should be this buggy I am normally not critical of apps as I work in the IT and Programming field and understand time constraints and priorities however youve had plenty of time to fix this app If youve given up on developing for it remove the app and quit wasting peoples time and money Simply the truth     Dont waste your money

Good start but a little buggy After going to several sites by clicking visit site and voting no other articles can be opened or read Have to close and reopen Sometimes it works great dont know what exactly causes it Great start hope they work out the kinks because its got a lot of potential Havent asked for support help yet since I cant reproduce it at will Dont let the problems stop you from buying Im sure they will fix the problems if people provide recreation steps           Good start but a little buggy

Great use of the iPads extra screen real estate My only complaint is the icon whats going on there I really like the icon from the current iPhone version of Shovel the brown one with embossed text This one seems like two steps back But anyway the app is great I love the message when comments are loading in                 Very Nice Expansion of Shovel for iPhone

The iPhone version was one of my favorites and I was excited for the iPad version But this one is way too buggy and hasnt received an update since the launch of the iPad Dont buy it Load more stories doesnt work so you only get the top 10 in any category Often get XXXX in the title and description No comment posting Results are inconsistent with web site and with iPhone version of app Crashes regularly Tons more bugs        Too buggy no update since iPad launch

Any idea how I can get my money back After selecting a category of news I see the headlines but when I click on them nothing happens 3 for this Their iPhone app used to be great but as of lately its very buggy too NOTE TO THE DEVELOPERS I just read your READ BEFORE REVIEWING note You should had FULLY disclosed that the app doesnt work in the first place and offered it as a FREE version Then when you get your app together rerelease it for the 3 This is almost theft     IT DOESN

The interface is excellent If only the app worked Ive hardly got it to stay open without freezing up for 2 minutes It freezes I exit and whenever I try to relaunch I get a blank screen right away and I have to restart my iPad and try it again only for it to freeze again a minute later Whenever it isnt freezing it crashes constantly I dont know if anyone else is having these problems but whatever is going on needs to be fixed quickly The app is pretty much useless right now        Neat but buggy
