I have just downloaded this App and I did it thinking that the Eight Bells would correspond with the time shown in the Marine Clocks face However it only shows 200 oclock permanently THIS IS A MERELY CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENT IF YOU CAN MAKE THE CLOCK WORK TO SHOW THE ACTUAL TIME WHILE KEEPING THE USEFUL AND DELIGHFUL 8 BELLS FEATURE YOU WOULD THEN HAVE A FIVE STAR RATED APP EVERYTHING IS DOABLE GO FOR IT AguilaOne THIS IS A SECOND PART TO MY COMMENT ABOVE AFTER EXPERIENCING THE SHIPBELLS FOR THE LAST 14 HOURS I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WHATEVER YOU DO DONT CHANGE THE SOUND OR VOLUME OF THE BELL THE APP HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND THE SOUND OF THE BELLS IS JUST GREAT AND ACCURATE WITH MY LOCAL TIME IF I HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN A WORKING CLOCK OR THE EIGHT BELLS I CHOOSE THE EIGHT BELLS AS YOU HAVE IT NOW HANDS DOWN GREAT NAVAL APP AguilaOne Take two              Eight Bells Could be a great App

This is a dreadful app and should be removed for two reasons it does not tell time and other apps exist that do the same thing and do tell time Ive spent many years at sea and never seen a clock this dysfunctional that has its hands locked Save your money     Ships bells

The chime quality is excellent As other reviewers have mentioned this app has no clock function and no convenient way to set the hours the app chimes With a clock face that indicated the actual time and a setting to have the chimes off during set hours each day the app would be perfect              Only chimes not a clock

5 Stars Yes gives me Nautical Chimes in my life thru the Speaker ordinarily thru Headphones if I plug them in well worth my US099 All the same Im wishing this app were more Applelike including a demo sound as I start it up so I can grow this apps market by showing my friends the most recent chime again not have to catch my friend exactly on the half hour And I add my voice to others wishing to add start up and shut down times so we can sleep without chimes without visiting this app twice every day Thats hassle enough to make me go look for a substitute app                 Two revisits required per day ouch

Ships bells work fine but the clock in the app is set at 200 how hard is it to show the local time Needs volume adjustments for the bells they are LOUD and options for turning on off during the day without having to call up the app I would like to schedule the bells to work with my day ie on at low volume from midnight to 0600 then full volume to 1800 and off until midnight           quiet please

As almost every other reviewer has mentioned why not have the clock face show the actual time It seems like a no brainer and it cannot be that hard to implement If the clock face showed the real time Id have this app running all the time As it is I let it run for a day or two and then shut it off Come on people You are so close Just do it        Why not display the current time

It would be nice if the clock worked The ability for it to automatically shut off the chimes between 1000 pm and 600 am would also be great The most glaring problem is the chimes timing As an old salt I love to have the bells chiming in the background normally you should hear dingdingdingdingding to announce the time instead you hear dingdingding dingding There is so long of a gap until the final ding that you think the time is really different           Almost

I guess its sold as a chime and it does that well On the other hand its a clock that always says 200 I suppose the purpose of a chime is so you dont have look at the clock but if I miss the bells Id like to look and see something other than 200        Well its a good chime
