Shakuhachi

This is a wonderful app for shakuhachi beginners There are several melodies for players to cultivate their musical talents including my favorite Japanese melody Kojo no Tsuki I skipped others and jumped to this piece right away Other melodies are terrific too How do I know Because recordings are included and played by the successor of the Fuke school Yes although it is not mentioned in the title its another app made to promote the beauty of music played in Fuke style In my opinion the previous app is concerned of the history and this one provides practical advices and exercise Regarding the exercise its for fingering I have not tried it But I will break it down and use as daily exercises Besides audio recording some pieces are performed in video format Its good to watch videos as they will give you some ideas about breathing and angels Another nice thing about this app is tables of scales Yeah Its my favorite part as the scales some are very exoticare illustrated in western music staff and in Japanese alphabets Educational Although this app is a bit pricy I would say its reasonable as you can facilitate this app in three languages Japanese French and English              For passionate shakuhachi learners
