Sewing Kit

This app is great for tracking projects and patterns I gave only 4 stars due to the occasional crashes and lack of customer support emails are never answered This app has great potential but isnt 5stars yet Unfortunately it looks like the HD version has similar reviews so I wont be upgrading              Great sewing app

The potential is there but a couple of issues really keep this app from being great Some features specifically entering a new pattern company dont work in spite of updates Also the pattern photo import does not bring in yardage requirements How hard could that be Its right there in the back of the envelope           Sewing Kit

I love it Just wish there was a connection from the phoneiPod to the computer Other than that its great                 I love it

It doesnt scan If you want to add a pattern or fabric but change your mind once youre in the screen theres no way to cancel you have to delete the empty pattern I miss the awesome Sewing Kit that worked beautifully on my iPhone 3GS Maybe I should start carrying that one around just for this app        Disappointing on my iPhone 5

This app makes shopping and planning a project very easy however the initial work is tedious and time consuming to add all your patterns Imagine going into a fabric store and having access to all your patterns fabrics and notions That is what this app can store for you but first must be input by you Simplicity patterns information including photos and pattern information all automatically are added the newer other big pattern companies only add the photos That means all pattern back information photos of older patterns and other pattern companies that are not either Simplicity Vogue McCalls or Butterick have to be input photos taken and added of pictures and back of patterns as well as photos of fabrics and notions etc This is time consuming but worth the effort saving money and time later by assuring all the necessary items are available for your project This also will force the sewer to get organized which is why this is app is obtained to begin with Highly recommended I entered most of my patterns over 500 with no problems however now I am unable to add new pattern companies for some reason I just put them all in one area and will correct it later when the software company fixes this issue I love this app              Nice app

I love this app My only complaint so far is that some main pattern companies are missing like New Look              Excellent

If this app worked as designed it would be great As it is though the bugs especially the inability to add pattern companies make it virtually unusable Its a shame I really want to like this app But its just not there yet        Could be a great app but so many bugs

I do like being able to keep a record of all the patterns I have and the ones I want to get The only thing is you cant add new pattern company names like Jalie or Style It looks like it has the capability but then it kicks you out Pleeeease fix           There are other pattern companies

This App has the potential of being great but since the last update I can no longer add a new pattern company I cant find a contactoption to send info to the creators        Cant add pattern companies

If I could give this App no stars I would Crashes when trying to scan patterns Does not work I rarely buy Apps and am disappointed that I bought this     DOES NOT WORK

Needs to have way to put in yardage in fractions as well as decimals Also would like the back yardage pic as well              Like it

This app is a great idea if it worked I really want it to work but it crashes every time I use it I am hoping this will get fixed and the I will gladly change my rating     I really want this to work

I started putting my patterns in this app and so far Ive only got through 8 before finding that some patterns will crash the app completely and trying to edit the pattern companies crashes the app I have close to 200 patterns to enter The trouble having might not be worthy time I love the concept of this app but it needs some serious tweaks Fix the crashes and Ill change my rating        NEEDS A SERIOUS UPDATE

A great application that solves a lot of the I am in the store and I cant remember how many yards etc dilemma It is one of the best task specific organizational pieces of software Ive encountered in a while The developer is very responsive and promises to keep listening and providing updates things that are a bit irksome 1The fabrics list is scant Ive entered my first hundred patterns and Ive nearly quadrupled the fabrics list It would be nice if the initial list were more robust 2Too many steps to enter the patterns recommended fabric list 3Many patterns have multiple images There is no way to choose which is the primary image to display 4Vogue has standard categories listed on the pattern envelope that indicate level of expertise these terms should be included in the list of terms to describe how easy or difficult the pattern is to execute 5 the categories list should be more complete Suits and vests are standard clothing 6 Backup is a big concern That said I am glad to own it and look forward to a true I Pad version Update Ive entered nearly 300 patterns and 1 entering yardage is useless You cannot enter fractions or widths for the fabric 2 updates appear to fix technical issues but not feature or design issues 3 there is a backup procedure I am less enthused that I was initially but have no regrets about the purchase              A great work in progress

I was so excited to find this app spent weeks putting my patterns into it But now I can never get it to open in order to use it Im disappointed        Disappointed

What can I say to encourage the creators of this genius app to get them to fix it I want to give the app 5 stars but it wont work and updates dont fix the problem and they dont come by often I cant recommend a paid app that doesnt work If it gets fixed ill be back to give it 5 stars its that great of an app     Rats

I finally figured out how to scan the bar code but every time I did the app crashed Mostly worthless for me because I downloaded it for the main purpose of scanning the bar codes     Key feature missing

I use this all the time to keep track of my patterns It has saved me because I dont buy duplicates anymore              Very useful app

I love having my fabric and patterns together                 Love it

Simply put It doesnt work It wont pull up patterns and it crashes Every time I use it What a waste I wonder if I can return it     So disappointing

This is the first app I have ever paid for and it has been well worth it I love that I can keep track of patterns AND fabric without having to buy another app All in one is the way to go I used to pay 5 a month for a pattern organizer service but found I wasnt using it so I got SewingKit instead Love it                 Awesome app

This a great app with lots of potential It however needs help Needs to become more compatible with new IOSFails to allow additional updates to catorgoriesPlus it would be nice to be able contact whoever writes the program              Sew kit

It crashes when I go into the settings and try to load the official images The developer said all the bugs are fixed in the HD 799 version but why not fix the bugs in both versions No one should spend another 799 on top of 499 in the HOPES that the HD version will work I would ask for a refund if not for the hassle        I had high hopes

pattern companies still crashes Thinking about upgrading to HD but what a pricey app Why dont you have a sale or something This is the most expensive app I own it crashes the most           bugs still here

If I am at a fabric store in front of this unique fabric I can in a matter of seconds peruse my patterns and find the amount of yardage I need to buy It helps me organize my fabrics and look for new patterns that will complement them All of this at my fingertip                 At my fingertip

It does require a lot of time to put in all the patterns fabric at first But its invaluable when Im out shopping and I can just pull up the info on a moments notice without the drudgery of going through disorganized notes              Useful and convenient

Would love to be able to 1 add more detailed measurements 2 add independent pattern companies           love it but it needs enhancements

This is a handy app to keep with if you are in the habit like me of collecting patterns It came along at a good time when I was trying to type all this info in to my Notes This app gives it structure The Lite version is pretty useless Improvements I would make 1 when selecting fabrics identified on a pattern envelope you ought to be able to select all the fabrics at one time instead of selecting and saving to your pattern data and then going back to the list of fabrics for the next fabricvery tedious and very time consuming 2 when selecting pattern company only the basics are listed and there is no way to add another pattern companythis needs to be changed 3 suddenly I can no longer add photos of the envelope front to the appI can select Add New photo but it does not give me the ability to post the photo any more              Improvements

This work far better than my pencil and paper method Love being able to at least have my patterns listed someplace easier to access Shopping is much easier no more duplicates              ywhoknos

I have all my fabrics and patterns loaded Most of the crashing has disappeared except for pattern companies You cant download the yardage info because the pattern companies do not provide it Could use some improvement on Projects Good app but could be better              Improving but not all the way there yet

Why am I unable to add images When I try to retrieve images through Settings it crashes every time Frustrating for an app of this price        Wish it worked

Excellent for use out and about even when theres no wifi Would give it 4 stars if there was a category for listing threads and other things you might have stashed              Great for reference

This gives me the ability to organize I love that I can take thiswith me to the fabric store and if I see a material I love I can check if one of my patterns will suit it or if I should look for a new one Do I already have a pattern that is similar to that one What would be great in the future is to include pictures or upload information from the pattern regarding recommended fabrics per size notions etc           Good App Wishlist for future versions

I love this app It has a lot of info that can be put with each pattern and the pictures it brings from the pattern companies are great I used to make copies of all my patterns but now I can have it all on my iPad thanks having trouble adding pattern companies it keeps crashing           Sewing kit

Love this app but would like to see a few improvements I am currently storing notions in the fabric section it is not ideal but it is working ok I love it when envelope photos are available for newer patternsa very cool feature I wish I could sort or filter by features other than the pattern company Also I wish I could zoom in on the pattern photos Its a great start but needs upgrades and improvements I would be willing to pay for an upgraded version           Great app

I wish I could install on my other devices and have it sync Maybe its possible but I cant figure it out Also some of the fields do not accommodate typical sewing numbers like 1 58 yd           Wish it would sync

This app quit working with last upgrade Ive tried to contact creator but no response I finally got it working because I still had an old version saved on my PC otherwise I would have been out the 10 I originally paid when the app first came out I wont be upgrading again now that I fixed it        Afraid to upgrade

This app has been a big help in getting me orgainized Now I have all the information about whats in my stash at my fingertips No more guessing when I run across a fabric store Yes it could be improved but I find it very useful as is              Finally Organized

Love this app I love having all my patterns fabric yardages and measurements in one place When Im In the fabric store I can quickly see what I need without having to write notes Only thing I would change is to allow ability to type info into yardage space to reflect different views and yardage width Currently have to put that in notes area Also all info in app needs to be portable to a new phone I sure dont want to have to reenter 100 patterns again              Great sewing assistant

Although there are a couple of tiny things I would change this is definitely worth the money The organization cataloging ability is my go to app for everything sewing Thank you I look forward to the updates              Worth the money

This app would be great if it worked properlyas advertised It crashes and freezes constantly when attempting to scan a bar code itll scan and crash or just crash and when I try and select My Inventory are just a few crash times When attempting to take a picture to add to a pattern the screen will often just freeze after adding about 3 patterns Id like my money back as Im not receiving the service I paid for        Would be a great app if it worked properly
