Second Screen Live: The Little Mermaid

This boring not a lot of people will want to take an iPad or have to go to the theater Why cant we just enjoy it at home I was very disappointed when I found out that you have to got to a theater to play a Little Mermaid app And the listening button I didnt even know I was sitting and trying to figure it out Please fix this so that we dont have to go to the theater C     Do we have to go to the theater

I need help with the listening button to work i dont know how you play help plz thanx you                 How do you get the listening button to work

This app was really awesome and all the games and activities were really fun The whole audience participated in the singalong it was so cool Definitely download the app before you go to the theatre it does take a while to load Totally worth it                 Fun way to interact with the movie

It is very very fun if you hade to pay money for it I would Takes a LONG time to figure out the listening button but Still worth it by the way Im a girl thats my dads password                 Cool

Awesome news is the app works at home Seems to be more interactive during the scary parts of the movie but has some SERIOUS timing issues Had to restart several times because the app would get too far behind the story        Works with the BluRay

I tried the app today with my recently updated iPad and it did not work Kids were sad because they could not interact with the movie Which was the point of going to the showing in the first place     iOS 7

This thing takes waaaaaaaayyyyy too long to load and the directions are really complicated Please fix this        Um Help

The concept behind this app to begin with is HORRIBLE Dont bring a glowing iPad into a movie theater It teaches kids that its ok to annoy other movie theatergoers with phones and other mobile devices which should all be turned off and LEFT IN ONES BAG Disney should know better than to encourage this     Dont bring an iPadapp into the movie theater

Super fun for everyone in the family Mom Dad Girls 6 10 Initially I was skeptical first there was the fact we only had 1 iPad for 4 of us then there were the standard paradigm breaking concerns a would it get in way of passive media b would it flow with the movie etc but after 20 min and about the 4th game we figured it out Abby 10 answered the questions Eva 6 learning to read became our Bubble popper and eel finder while I handle the sing alongsUnder the Sea Gaming on the iPad amongst an audience of movie goers was key We found ourselves competing as a family unit with other people in the audience The competitive nature of this made for a fun family experience working together Note to self dont ever compete with a 6 yr old on bubble popping Keeping in mind that this is breaking new ground there are a few areas that could use improvement a because you are marrying leading edge screen technology iPad retina display with an old film it actually made the movie look dated b screen freeze of the movie for the tile game slows the movie c initially you find yourself not watching the movie trying to figure out the second screen d too much text on the screen and d as has been highlighted already the app file does take time to download but it is well worth it Overall we are giving Disney two thumbs up here in particular interaction management was in particular well thought out and allowed for a seamless experience So if you have kids it a highly recommended experience Finally most importantly as a family WE WON Our final score was just over 30000 if you are interested in the bar HINT to increase your score toward the end of the movie be prepared to have the whole family tapping on the screen Enjoy                 Super fun Took our 6 10yr old Opens mind to Possibilities Hats off to ever visionary Disney
