I have been waiting for iPhone iPod Touch v3 CopyPaste and Search to finally switch from Palm to Apple Well the v3 search is very weak compared to Palms search I often need to use phone to find a person I like using just last 4 digits of the as a shortcut I also do other searches in Contacts Notes etc Well this Search app does it and I can now retire my Palm with help from Missing Sync If only Apple did not sabotage PBF from doing Search in other DBs              Does what v3 search cant

It is great that I can search for something in the contacts notes field Why doesnt it take me to the instance where it occurs in the notes field Then the search is useful This is only alittle better than what is now standard with 30           Needs more development

There are other decent search engines in the App Store but this is the best of all Contact Find is fast and accurate but it is reading from its own imported contacts not from the originals so that it is necessary to update them often ABContacts also is good but it will not read from the Notes Field and the Name field simultaneously Search does it all and very quickly It deserves the top ratings that is is receiving                 Best Contact Search Engine

Unless you have thousands of contacts it is way too expensive and not worth the money The name gives the impression it searches the Internet to find contacts based on partial information It is misleading     Not worth the money avoid it

Search v202 is incredible and its worth every penny of the price This app fills a significant void in the iPhones native Contacts application it lets you search all of the fields in the contact record not just the name field If you want to be able to find a contact by entering ANY PART OF a name address phone number area code zip code email address the text in the note field etc this app is for you It will find any and all records in the Contacts app that contain the text string you enter In addition you can edit information in the Contacts entries AND dial out directly from within this application so theres no need to switch back to the native Contacts app for those functions I dont even use the native app anymore I just use Search v202 Just buy it you will love it                 Simply Awesome A Must Have App on all iPhones

Just paid 499 for an all that will not work on my iPhone Maybe its an iOS 6 issue     App crashes at startup

The app does a pretty nice job of searching almost any field in the contacts database which is much better than the standard IOS search which is limited to name and company only There is one big problem however If you have any linked cards the program cant handle them A search will not return the combined contact nor will it give you all the individual contact entries Instead you get the first contact entry only and there is no way to view the remaining linked entries This pretty much renders the app useless for anyone who has linked contacts I would also note that customer support is nonexistent so dont expect any replies to email questions I recommend trying AB Search which does everything this app does and works fine with linked contacts It also has several nice additional features     Pass on this app

I constantly need to search my contacts by phone number but this program only allows search by three different number fields area code first 3 digits or last 4 digits Across any of these field doesnt work           Almost there

This app just works It hasnt ever crashed with any operating system It will search notes within a contact For me this is huge Thanks                 Excellent for searching contacts

Fantastic Apple doesnt know about business needs for searching Palm did it for years Now add the ability to search the calendar more than 365 days back A calendar Go To feature would also be nice                 Great startnow do the calendar

This is the application that turns the iPhone into a power tool for everyday business Why Apple has not seen fit to migrate the comprehensive search capabilities of Address Book to the iPhone is incomprehensible so Im doubly grateful to Polar Bear Farm for Search Ive used this simple but essential application since its initial release for jailbroken iPhones Like a knife fork or spoon at the dinner table I wouldnt be and wasnt happy with the iPhone without Search                 The Real Killer Application for iPhone

Well we waited and waited for OS3 so we could have what PBF had for jail broken phones 2 years ago So where is the note field search in OS3 This app has it for contacts but Apple wont let them provide it for calendar and they dont provide it themselves in OS3 Do They want us to jail break our phones or are the Apple programers just not as smart as PBF Perhaps Apple just doesnt care what its customers need or want Beats the heck out of me This would be a 10 star app if it worked like the jail broken version Shame on yup Apple           Where is note search in OS3

when you search and find a contact you are not able to text them or add them to favorites hmm is this an apple thing           imho too expensive for what it does

With over 900 contacts it gets difficult to keep track of all my customers DBAs alternate contacts and find references within their Zip codes This app alone is why I left the crackberry It is well worth the money to Me                 This is the best search engine for me

I have tried a dozen search aps and none come even close to the thoroughness of this one It finds more than twice as many accurate hits as any other App I love this puppy                 Best of Breed

Allows you to search for ant text or numerical characters in all thr Contacts fields Much more useful and versatile than Apples search     Wonderful

I was looking for a way to search my contacts notes fields The program works great with one exception It does not display the company name when a first and last name are missing This leaves me with many blank fields Hopefully they will fix this soon        Like the name and the speed dissapointed about the company listing

I have tried several different programs to search through all fields of my Address Book This is far and away the best The only drawback was that you couldnt edit the contact that your found with Search and now that feature has been added to the program                 The Best of the Bunch

Unfortunately the iPhones dumb built in search doesnt really search everything For example it doesnt look at the notes part of your contacts This app does which is great However once you find the contact you are looking for buttons at the bottom such as share contact are missing If this could be added the app would be perfect for searching contacts              Only way to do a full search

Finally I can do a partial search on phone number This was the feature I missed the most when I switched from PalmPilot Why apple didnt build this into thier search is mind bogglingly stupid Love this              Finally

This is the one app I missed from my jailbroken phone I made the mistake of assuming that the search feature in the 20 upgrade would work the same way this program does I was mistaken The search function in contacts is a joke compared to this app I love how it searches all fields especially notes For example if I have a client that wants to buy or sell a Lexus I will enter Lexus and it will search all of my clients that are looking to buy or sell a Lexus in the notes fields I store many customer details and updates in the notes field of my contacts and this program constantly saves me time                 Great sales contact tool if you use the notes field in address book or contacts

I had this program on my jailbroken iPhone It did Go To Date in Calendar search Calendar as well as Search Contacts Now it is limited to Contacts search only I really miss search the Calendar for keywords names address and phone numbers etc in old program It is a bit overpriced for its single purpose function Search and Spotlight on OS3 will make this program obsolete     Program will be rudundant when OS 30 come out

I used my Palm for door to door sales calls for years until it wouldnt sync with my new 64 bit computer I was amazed how hard it was to find a new device that could search by address that could also sync with Outlook on my desktop I need this ability because I knock on doors for my real estate business I need to be able to type in the address of the home I am about to visit and review my notes from previous visits before knocking The Palm was able to quickly search by address and displayed the contact immediately before I knocked on the door I was disappointed at the lack of ability for newer devices to be able to do this simple task So I synced my Iphone with Outlook and started to test aps that could quickly search by address This app is the fasted I could find although I would like it to be a little faster which is why I rated it 4 stars If it could search by address as fast as my palm did I would give it 5 stars Suggestion When entering an address street street name and the contact displays make the search window remember the last entry so the entire street name doesnt have to be entered again Should be able to edit the previous address without having to reenter the whole street name again That would save a lot of keystrokes              Search by address

I read a review online and it looked like exactly what I was looking for so I wish I had read the description in the app stroe more carefully I really wanted it for the calendar and go to date features then found out they were removed from the app I just wasted a buck        Not what I expected

Until Apple gets its act together and adds these features to the iPhone this app is essential Just like the Palm allows you to search multiple contacts fields when you cant remember the name of someone or want to search a field other than the name So helpful and the interface looks just like Spotlight so youd never know youre using a nonApple app A bit pricey but well worth it                 Essential
