This app is extremely useful and easy to use                 AMAZING for the the price

This app is fun to use but I wish it let me change the background throughout Id also like to be able to go back and edit my video rewind and record over a mistake It would also be nice if I could include a link for my students to go to at the end of the video           Okay but could be better

Very simple to use and share the link for students to use Operations and functions are pretty basic but its all I need to make a screencast for my students              Simple easy to share

This is a great app you should get it you can also take videos of your drawings and you can draw on your photos it is so fun I like it so I can draw pictures              Best app ever

I love that you can just give students a link to watch the video or you can download a copy of your video to keep on your computer A lot of these style apps dont let you keep a copy of the video Great for flipping your classes                 Great app

So Im a you tuber and I was trying to make a video So I started making this whole 20 minute video and I was so happy with it and then I finished it and tried to view it after in the app and THE ONLY THING IT RECORDED WAS 1 FRICKIN SECOND AND MY WHOLE VIDEO WAS GONE EVERY TIME I TRIED TI RECORD ON THIS STUPID APP 0 stars     IT DOESNT WORK

My students love this app The only reason I didnt give it five stars is that I havent learned all that can be done              Kids love it

I have used another TechSmith product called Jing with success but decided to record something with Screen Chomp because I needed a photo in the background With the details below the summary is 1 you cannot review any created videos and 2 if anything is actually saved I am unable to find it I imported the photo marked up the background then recorded 4 mins and 30 seconds of video When I hit the stop button the screen converted to what appeared to be a preview screen It would not play I tried dragging the index to various locations but without success No way to confirm if anything was actually saved Then I looked online for reports and possible solutions and found that this problem was reported five months ago but no apparent action had been taken by the developers I also saw some references to an update that required users to confirm their age so I deleted SC and downloaded the current app from the store Again set everything up and again no way to preview the result In case my file was actually saved to my Screencast account I hit Share and my screen went to a blank whiteboard In the end my account online did not have the file so I see no utility for the use of Screen Chomp     Two Major Faults Perhaps Abandoned by Developers

I really like the simplicity of this app I would like the ability to add blank whiteboards instead of erasing all the time              Really nice app

As a teacher I MUST be able to grade papers that are beyond one page Please fix this and your app will be exactly what I want I love giving video feedback and my students like it too           Go beyond page 1

I use this for short instructional videos for my students Camtasia is not affordable to everyone About every 10th video I can get the video to play the preview but it then hangs as I try to upload it to their site I wish they would have an export to device option as then I could tell if it is the program computer or internet connection              Nice but hangs

This used to work well Maybe an incompatibility with latest iOS Same as others I cannot preview which is crucial All your other products have been great Just let us know if you are going to cease supporting this app or are going to fix it and a timeframe        Techsmith where are you

ScreenChomp is a good basic screen recorder It is extremely easy to use and then to share with others That said other similar apps have targeted sharing video taggingsearching and the ability to use more stock backgrounds like graph paper Also as a user of Camtasia Relay another TechSmith product I wish there was a better integration between these systems              Good but not great

I WANNA SCREAM This app is terrible when I try to take a picture the camera is sideways I can never change it When I turn my I pad the camera doesnt change it just keeps on staying sideways Fix this app now I hate this app I can only use it for video taping but not pictures because the camera is sideways FIX THE APP IT IS TERRIBLE        THIS APP IS NOT WORKING

is my favorite feature Now that the severe problems for over a year associated with videos which get lost due to connection errors has apparently been fixed I am happy again SC has minimal bells and whistles but its ease of use is a big plus and its the only app with a vertical page scroll that I know ofwhich I love              Vertical page scroll

It lets me solve math problems by writing them out and lets me have fun                 LOVE IT

My class has the newest version of screen chomp are using the newest iPad minis as of this review We are having trouble getting a complete video When we record using the pause button it ends the video When we record all the way through wo pause we rarely get the video Maybe I am doing something wrong        Incomplete recording

Screenchomp has recently started acting up I cant preview my video The play goes super fast where it wont show anything        Trouble with saving playback

The app is awesome but it wont let me share my work This needs to be fixed ASAP because I use this app to send in homework for school and this fault is preventing me from doing so           Why cant I share my work

I love this app and tried it to teach my nephew about soccer But every time I save my video it wont save the colored markings It will only save the black pin markings I cant share the video because it wont show the work I had made I tried it 3 times and still wont work VERY DISAPPOINTING        Great concept but wont save correctly

When I first used this it was very cool totally 5 stars But now I cannot get it to do any audio or video recording I can draw a pic then push rec and continue to draw but when I am done the only thing recorded is what was on the whiteboard before I pushed rec This is very disappointing As it stands right now it is not usable I really enjoyed it when it worked     Sadly not working

This app is intuitive to use and plenty powerful And of course the price is right But it is missing a feature that would give it 5 stars Id really like to save directly to my camera roll rather than waiting for an upload then waiting for a download I believe this version promised a save only mode but if it is there I cant find it Only complaint Otherwise good work                 Easy but missing a feature

I like the app for the Ipad but when I record with a picture the message I write does not work Tough to figure out picture           Issue

The app worked moderately well in iOS 6 Now in iOS 7 I cannot preview videos before sharing them and theres no sound in videos that I do share        Needs help functions

I plan on using this with my spelling and would love to be able to type on the lines of the docs I like to walk around the room as we work through the spelling but the students cant read my writing Thanks great interface              Would be nice to be able to type

Terrific and simple way to make and post to the web I did cursive handwriting videos for my teacher website Students may rematch at any time                 Teacher

We use it to record our thinking through problems and solutions We then share them with others in our company Great tool as i always have my iPad with me but not necessarily my laptop and Wacom tablet I was sorry to read of folks having trouble with this app Such has never been my experience Im running Screenchomp on an original 64GB iPad so Im fairly certain it is not powerhungry                 Very pleased with the ease of use and sharing of recorded videos

As an educator I love this app but I dont use it because I cannot find lessons again after creating them This is very frustrating              Save feature needs work

This program is great if youre looking to record a whiteboard style presentation where everything is drawn from scratch but if you are trying to teach from a PPT presentation uploaded as a PDF it will only display the first slidepage 5 stars if the developers find a way to incorporate whole presentations           Not quite what Im looking for

My videos are not coming out correctly I can seem to do video without audio But if I do a video with audio the video does not show up Very frustrating        Problems
