I downloaded this child support calculator from the App Store and paid 90 for a 6 month subscription I have a brand new iPad Pro 10 5 On my iPad the guidelines worksheet previews on the screen properly but it will not print or save to PDF All you get is a blank page In reviewing the developer s website a similar issue is described in the FAQ for Windows desktop computers I sent the developer a polite email asking what the corollary fix would be for an iPad The response was since we are not experiencing this issue with current users I am unable to assist you I paid 90 to be a current user This developer puts an app on the Apple App Store and won t even consider a fix for an iPad for a problem that he will fix for Windows Vista users And it gets worse The developer states that he has no authority to refund Apple iPad subscriptions and that I must contact Apple directly There is no indication as to how to do that The sole benefit of this program is to have a mobile child support calculator that extrapolates child support beyond the guidelines limit of 15K of combined gross income per month The State has a website that will perform these calculations for free below the limit which is the vast majority of cases Why the developer would create an app and show no interest in supporting it is bewildering particularly since the iPad is a more profitable and efficient means of getting out his program than catering to Vista users with a plethora of outdated machines from different vendors I see that a number of family law attorneys have given this program good reviews Apparently this is the buddy system at work Do these people really have iPads If so the developer should be very concerned as to why a brand new one will not print or save to PDF properly Yes my iPad prints and saves to PDF properly with my other apps including Mail Outlook Word Notes etc The developer trumpets on his website how the courts use his program While I appreciate his success in that respect when you put a program on the App Store for consumer or professionals you have a responsibility to support your product This is a for profit venture And a very expensive one at that If he were giving it away for free I would understand This app should be avoided by purchasers of new iPads Given the developer s lack of interest in supporting the app it should be pulled from the App Store altogether     Shocking lack of support scyld

this is an app that doesn t work unless you pay I bought the PC version years ago but that went away when I switched to Mac So no credit for that purchase Their web site says there is a home edition but I don t see it     This is not a free app with in app purchases Tom 5778

Functions just as nicely as the desktop version We now have portable child support guidelines software to carry to court mediations negotiations settlement conferences etc No more lugging of the laptop                     At last App user2007
