This app a convenient way to have access to a large, scrollable format of the National Forest Service San Bernardino National Forest map. It operates totally offline after an initial download of the map data ...
Freezes when you open it up Was very useful when it worked Needs an update No longer works
This is the first good mobile map I have seen for the back roads on the north side of the lake The stuff for the idyllwild and San Jacinto area is pretty good too Gps accuracy is good Super handy
No longer works in iOS8 And developers web site is down I paid for a few of these various USFS map apps and got stung You have been warned Just go to the government site you can usually download maps there Developer Bailed
As a San Bernardino National Forest employee this map app is exactly the same map you would buy at a forest office except you can make it bigger than the 12 inch to the mile size of the plastic map and You would pay about 10 for it Weve published maps with topo lines but at this scale it makes the map very hard to read I really like this app
Okay overall Im liking the app good detail when you zoom in navigation is easy enough It is simple to use but the only down point that I see at this time is no landscape fix that and you will have a five star app on your hands Nice and useful
