Salon Iris

This app is amazing It makes my life so much easier to see my schedule before work incase of a emergency or bad weather I can schedule and move appts around easily Every app has their glitches but thats technology today Its really a great added feature as opposed from coming from a paper book I do prefer to make my appointment at the salon on my computer but this app gives you the tools you need and can see reports and totals incase you have to do payroll from home However I do think for the amount of money Ive invested in this program this feature should be free As a owner I should be able to cancel and rebook appointments for my employees incase they are out sick or bad weather As per my employees they love knowing their schedule before hand and booking appts for their clients that have their personal cell phone number Def recommend this product                 Excellent

The new features added to this release make it worth its weight in gold Ill never use another program for my business                 NEW UPDATES ROCK

I am able to manage all my nail appointments easily It lets me keep record of how much Im charging each girl what service they are getting It lets me mark them as a successful service or as a no show when they dont show up Its free great                 I love it

This app is slow then they updated and now its slower and cant put a time block I always have problems with this app I only have it cause my salon makes me I wish we would switch to something more reliable     Update made it worse

this is a great app my only complaint is that you cannot look at a clients purchase history that would make it 5stars for me              love it

So I updated to the newest version and now the app wont load It just says that its loading indefinitely Please fix soon     Help

It costs money even when it says its free it cost my a payment of 1900     HORRIBLE

Work in a salon that did use vagaro for booking and it was great Starting in January we changed to salon iris simply because it works with her pos system Salon iris is not user friendly for the stylists in the back making appointments all day Too many steps to book one appointment With vagaro you could instantly jump ahead 2468 weeks ahead to book your clients next appointment Not so with salon iris It is just not efficient in any way and it is expensive They nickel and dime you for services you need like texting client reminders I would not tell any salon to get this app     Vagaro it is not

I actually really like this app and wouldve paid a one time fee of 20 but not every month per user I am the only one in my salon and only work part time so its not worth it to me to pay that much If I wouldve known that all up front then I wouldve never wasted my time customizing it     Not worth 20 a month

This app is great when I can actually log in which is only about 40 of the time Please fix Because your latest update hasnt nothing        Barely works

Ever since the update I can only log on immediately after initial installation After that it wont log me on I keep having to uninstall it and reinstall to check my schedule Get it fixed please     What was the point of the update

I cannot log in to my calendar since the latest Mac update Also it would be nice to be able to look at a full calendar when trying to see what 6 weeks out looks like to a customer              Problems logging in since Apple update

My only complaint is I wish we could use the app even when the home computer is off Otherwise this app has made my life so much easier being able to schedule and see my schedule wherever I go                 Love this app

Weve used Salon iris for yrs now We really like it specially since we can do remote Really helps if ur sick or hav an emergency and need to contact client I only wish u could delete past client that no longer come in so the info doesnt clog up the memory space              Long time user

Love this app Makes scheduling so easy and I love having my schedule with me all the time The only thing I wish is that it had a go to or advance button to schedule my regular clients              love it

The remote access for this app is down just as much as it is up and running Anyone this needs remote access should look elsewhere     Remote access is terrible

The app version since the upgrade is very frustrating There is no way to simply add products sales without having to add a service then deleting the service Waste of my time The web version has the option to choose products or services when creating the ticket The app version only has services Also the upgrade took away the ability to look at the client history when viewing the appointment Again waste of my time If I want to view service history or prior purchases it must be done through the client tab Not happy with the upgrade Took away some of the key features I use constantly        Upgrade is a downgrade on the app version

I love that I can use this on my phone at any time I also like that now I get my online booking requests on my phone No need to even go near the work computer                 Love this app

We have this as an accompaniment to the full software in our salon The mobile app has serious issues with log in More often than not I have to call into the salon to find out my schedule when Im away because the app wont connect Or while in salon I have to leave my clients and walk over to a computer because I cant pre book clients while they are sitting in my chair because the app wont connect If they can fix the connectivity issues it would be great The app itself is very useful           Its ok

I have had this app for two years and I really enjoy the ease of using it I have also like all the updates Its a little pricy but worth it for me              Makes life easier

Constantly having to delete and reinstall Always getting application error unable to connect to server and it freezes more than it works So frustrating when you cant get your formulas or look at your schedule Messing with my business     Not worth your time

Its very difficult to run a business this way with this program in house in the spa its fine but once your remote ur so limited I cant even see the book for all the other workers only me because they dont want to let you see the other people because they want to charge each person that has access I wont waste everybodys time on talking about how that can be different on so many levels I have an iPhone 6 Plus and I get booted every second every moment so theres not even any point to having it My other bigger complaint is on the main desktop I cant get updates regular much needed updates unless we pay for It Now thats crazy there not upGRADES they are upDATES Very disappointing because it has so much potential Please fix the constant boot for iPhone 6 plus I cant schedule anyone why am I paying for it Please fix        Cant run a business this way

Keeps saying signing in and never loads     Not Working

They always update and it gets confusing finding stuff but once I do its no problem Helps a lot when Im away from the Salon                 Love this app

I love the organization this app allows me All the reports at my finger tips My only issue is the speed getting from one screen to another Sometime I need to write down things and enter them later when Im extra busy              Great app

I have had this product for several years now Not only is this an expensive bookingposmarketing software but their customer service cant help you Theyll ask if youve watched the online videos Im a spa owner I dont have time for that And dont think the you drop to purchase this will be a onetime thing In fact you should expect to pay for an expensive update every 1820 months It constantly requires updates to patch holes in their software and we need to reboot the system at least 12 times a week Why do I still use it you ask Because after Ive spent thousands of dollars on it I feel Im pretty invested I keep falling for the yeah were gonna fix that line Needless to say Ive paid for the last update Ill be using I dont think its the most expensive product of its kind but I certainly feel its not worth it Look elsewhere friends     Do not buy this for you spa

Salons I have worked in for about a decade now have always you Salon Iris It is expensive but its worth the price for your laptop or PC in the salon Now that Ive gone back to booth rent I find that the app for my iPhone is superior Everyone has their own experiences with everything my experience with Salon Iris has been wonderful Its affordable and the customer service is great Thats just my two cents              Happily Recommended

Impossible to sign on Good luck getting through to customer service Maybe youll be lucky and get a human on the line after a 1hour old What an abysmal customer service experience The program is cumbersome and not user friendly I would love to rid myself of this entire Salon Iris experience but we are now trapped because all of our info and history is in it If another company could seamlessly synch and take all of my info Id switch in a heartbeat Salon Iris CLEAN UP YOUR ACT     Very Disappointing

From a thousand feet up it looks great but after playing with this it lacks key elements of scheduling and is more time consuming than rewarding It does allow viewing from outside but not printing of the current day        Lacking

I wish I had read the other reviews before I updated my app It no longer works at all Its like Im back in the 90s and cant access my schedule unless Im actually at work Im trying to run a business here Terrible     Dont do it
