Salesforce.com customers: Now you can collaborate on Salesforce Chatter from an iPhone or iPod Touch. Chatter for iPhone keeps you connected to the people and records that matter most, whether you’re in the office or on the road.

Use this app to:
* View updates about the people, groups, and records you follow
* Create posts (with photos) and add comments
* View documents and links shared by others
* Find and follow people in your organization
* Find and join groups in your organization
* View coworkers` profiles, and email, call, or text them directly

IMPORTANT: You must already have access to Salesforce Chatter to use this application. Chatter for iPhone is automatically enabled for most but not all Salesforce organizations. If you’re having trouble logging in, contact your Salesforce administrator.

KNOWN ISSUE: The photo upload feature may be affected if too many apps are running in the background. Resolve this by closing these apps (including Chatter) and restarting the Chatter app.

Secure collaboration for organizations, now with push notifications?

This App gives mobile access to all that information, and allows colleagues to post competitive intelligence, information and pictures to the chatter stream from anywhere(with an Internet connection of course)

The addition of push notifications makes this app very effective for keeping up to date on organization knowledge and goings on.

I look forward to the app gaining even more functionality, but until then, it`s easy to go to chatter.com for group administration and other necessary work.

by Gergely Kovacs Finally, push notifications! Why 4 stars then? Because there is still no Private Messaging in the app. Add PMs, and I`ll give 5 stars.
