I recently updated to the newest version of the app When I start it I am presented with just the white screen with a safeway logo in the middle nothing else If I enter the task manger I see the normal first screen when I choose the app it then displays the first page but nothing is selectable Sometimes I can kill the app by swiping in task manager other times I have had to bounce my iPad        App Hangs

Get some new pronounced REAL programmers that know what they are doing to fix this pile of crap     Bad Request Invalid Hostname

Ive never had trouble with it loading deals until now It keeps saying it cant load and to try later When are you going to add the pharmacy to the app Who calls in their Rx these days           Just okay

Id like to see the ability to change the aisle sort into reverse order At the Safeway I shop at I start at the high end of the aisle numbers and finish low frozen and dairy The shopping list is low to high Add that feature in the new version and Ill rereview           OK App but

the app no longer works with the update a year or so ago does not work on my iPhone and I can only load my specials on the computer or iPad first before shopping shopping list has to be emailed to myself in order to see it when shopping PLEASE fix     Love Safeway but

The only good feature is scanning deals onto my card Aside from that this app is useless FOUR out of the six options on the home screen I cant even use because they all lead to the same page that is always downloading shopped stores which it never actually does It just stays stuck unless I hit cancel Not acceptable        Virtually useless

After the newest updated I couldnt open the app It just jump back to my home screen Please fix it        Cant open the app

This app is ok not great by any means The last update bragged that you could choose to sort items according to the aisles in your home store but apparently in much smaller print they disclosed that that feature only works at some stores not mine I guess When I open the app I almost always get two hot buttons one says you have one free offer I have yet to actually find that free offer When Im looking at whats on sale and special prices Just for U it gives me about two dozen categories to scroll through This wouldnt be too bad except some of these categories are totally useless like Box Tops for Education or Ice Cream Savings Youre not allowed to hide those categories Worse yet the app doesnt place each product in just one category so unlike the website I have to keep scrolling through the same product offers that I DONT want sometimes five or six times as they pop up in category after category Takes twice as long Wish theyd fix that So I still use the website to sort through the weeks specials and I use AnyList app to keep my grocery list This app is sort of the holding place in between to remind me of what Ive already loaded onto my card At least its not crashing repeatedly which seems to be happening to a lot of other people           Room for Improvement

Seriously safeway needs to figure this out Hire some new app developers and figure out how to have an app that works Get your sh together So frustrating and there is no other way for me to clip my coupons One of the worst apps I have ever worked with     Worst app ever Can it crash more

Archaic registration for existing reward card members and requires far too much personal information Doesnt digitize the reward card to slim the wallet Weak effort        No passbook integration

Under the 83 upgrade the app now times out and close So much for the just for u savings     Cant open app since upgrade

I wanted to use this app for many months I cant view my personalized deals or coupon center Theres nothing in there for me Please fix the issue Updated since writing my last review nothing has changed I do not see coupons or personalized deals even when changing to a different store and constantly updating by swiping down     Horrible

Love this app but the last two weeks it has not had the 5 Fridays deals section at the top Please fix     5 Fridays

App isnt bad I like being able to load coupons to my card on the go or anywhere But there used to be a way to email your shopping list to you and I can no longer do that Which is very frustrating              Not bad

Great thought for an app but not only will it not sync up anytime I try and get coupons etc it keeps telling my download error No matter if Im on wifi or not And it does not update info None of my fuel points Etc have shown up since downloading it        Buggy

Apparently this app only works if your calendar is set to use the English language If not you get a message that says no offers available in your area Please fix this bug        English only app

The app no longer works after the last update Safeway needs to fix this ASAP Expecting everyone to uninstall and then reinstall tells me they do NOT value their customers It is amazing Safeways only response is to blame their customers and expect them to delete and reinstall the app Cant believe Safeway is sooooo incompetent Actually got an email from Safeway advising me that updating to this version would solve my problems NOT When will Safeway accept their update is the PROBLEM     Awful Update

For the last two weeks the weekly ad has not loaded into the app That has been the most useful feature for me Please fix it           Weekly Ad not there

Overall I like the app but its a hassle to use One big thing I wish it had is the ability to add items to my list when Im searching in the ad and it doesnt find any results As it is I have to then go to my list and add it there Thats a bunch of extra steps per item Its hard to use with one hand on the iPhone 6 since you have to tap the top left to go back or open the menu It would also be nice if it had my list available on the Apple Watch like another local grocery store app does Also its too easy to accidentally add items when scrolling through the ad I do love the ability to sort by aisle        OK but needs usability improvements

Have not been able to use now for several weeks Uninstalled and reinstalled several times plus i emailed customer service and complained at the store Very poor responses Disappointing     Love it when it works

Love this app Ive been using it for the past year or so and I always use the shopping list feature and Ive saved money using the in app coupons but the past two weeks there has been a problem When I check out Ive not been getting the personalized deals and coupon deals that Ive added to my Safeway card Im not sure why but if its an error with the App I hope its addressed soon Other than the past two weeks this app has saved me time and money              Love this app but

App doesnt want to add coupons and doesnt show most recent offers all the time and now its saying unauthorized access when I try to open my j4u offers        Not happy with app

Look at any deal coupon page or whats supposedly loaded on your card no coupons ever load Pull to refresh as many times as you want nothing loads Quit the app restart your device reinstall the app nothing loads Who in a big corporation allowed such unworking junk be released into the world with their logo on it Totally useless     Nothing works

This app seems to get worse with each new update Half the time when I make a shopping list and then get to the store the app wont pull up my list Why has the ability to scan my card from passbook not been included and why is apple pay not an option yet Not to mention the way that the Just for you has been arranged now makes it difficult to find items that I actually want to add to the card     Gets worse with each new version

I would like to see Safeway app include a way for me to scan my club card number right from my iPhone at checkout Also I wish Safeway would except Apple Pay as a form of payment Or do I need to wait til Albersons takes over the process           Card No Scanning

Very time consuming to find a single item how about being able to scathe barcode to get the item to come up Also why is it always asking me for my password then it says my password is wrong and to create another unique password that hasnt been used before I have had to recreate at least 5 passwords for this app Its just very frustrating to use How about being able to have the app for multiple devices but the same account        Average

NOT If you are looking for an amazing shopping app to use while at Safeway this is NOT that app Downloading the Weekly ad is not possible for the store I shop making this app spot on useless The app used to work without issue up until around April Ive sent many complaint messages and received replays asking me to check the calendar type on my device removing the app as well as others Come on Safeway fix your app already     I LOVE this app
