please please please add midi control of tap tempo a midi table for cc input is kinda frustrating but the clock is rock solid i ll never perform with this until i can control the tap from a controller                 great app but Taylortronic

Not my best moment but I was browsing a list of AudioBus compatible apps and managed to accidentally buy this 5 app by bumping the Buy button twice What was initially anger frustration turned into a pleasant surprise as it turns out that S4 is a pretty decent rhythm machine I have several Drum apps from the popular DM 1 to DrumStudio and EasyBeats3 The quality of sounds in this thing including the several dozen preset loops to get you started is 5 star quality It also does some cool DJ like effects things on the home screen that I don t think I ve seen in other percussion apps you can apply glitches stuttering and filter effects while playing through the loop I also believe you can import your own wav samples to the drum pads which is huge though see concerns below Probably the best feature is the ease of exporting It was a little slow with AB but there is an Export Loop option at the top that copy pastes a perfectly timed one or two measure loop for your DAW The reason for my 4 star review is that the app just runs a little slow in general Most of this doesn t hurt performance but it can be frustrating to navigate menus where button responses aren t immediate I think it uses a fair amount of CPU resources though I should note that I have an older iPad2 Still I ve seen plenty of full feature drum apps that run fine on my device and I think the programming could be cleaned up to speed things along If so it really would become a 5 star app                 Bought it by accident actually kinda like it HouseOfHomuth

Much improved with latest update Still a little buggy but not operationally works great with Audiobus now The app as a whole is not as smooth as other audio apps especially when closing the app From 1 star to 4 stars Thx guys                 Great Sonic JMC

Finally the drum machine app I ve been waiting for It does everything I need and more this just replaced about 3 other apps The interface is super intuitive and after watching the 15 minute video on their site I was programming in 5 minutes like I d been using it for years Good Stuff and its only FIVE BUCKS                     AWESOME Netzz
