I needed to know the height of an item before I bought it and no one had a tape with them I ALWAYS have my iPad with me so 99 cents later I had my handi dandi tape with me and saved myself from wasting time buying something that would not work The gas alone to return the item would have cost more Thanks Ruler 2 I like it

Very simple Works great Im a little amused at myself for spending a buck on a software ruler but I needed a ruler and I would have spent that much if I bought a plastic ruler in a drug store This one is much nicer and Ill always have it with me Anyway it is almost worth a buck just for the intro tutorial that shows you how to measure a cat with it I love it

it does work but its pain to use i would rather drive to the store and buy a tape measure than use this it works
there is a huge ISO metric market out there USA only place left in world using inches Please add a millimeter scale for the rest of us in the world8 billion people Need mm scale
If it is more than a couple inches in length dont even try just go get a real ruler Very disappointing App Doesnt Measure Up
Better than nothing Any measurements longer than your screen will be approximate Its the equivalent of taking a physical three inch ruler and marking on your object where the end of the ruler is then laying it down for the next three inches etc The larger your object is the less accurate your measurement Meh

I just used the centimeter scale to measure my BMW tires hub very handy I can see so many uses for this tool I love it
Great app but please add ability to rotate When measuring a longer item it would be nice to slide the phone without your finger bumping into the volume buttons on my phone Please add rotation

This app treats inches as decimal units instead of using fractions based halves which is standard No hardware store sells anything by the tenth of an inch Inches should be divided by 2 4 8 16 32 not 10 Please fix this The centimeter ruler is rightly treated as a decimal unit but the tenths of a centimeter millimeters are not evenly spaced It not only looks sloppy but since the whole point is to measure accurately the millimeter markings are useless Two Big Problems
I just used this app to measure a sheet of paper and it is dead on Being an app developer myself I realize what must have gone into this app It has a great demo great interface and well done artwork and sounds Everyone needs to remember that this is a phone and it is limited If I had only my phone and no ruler and I had to choose between 99 cents or no measuring capability I would choose the app hands down This is a great app Well done Great App

I have an iPhone4 It looks nice and is pretty basic and the interface works pretty well Please allow for fractions up to at least 18 Also I dont have a ruler handy here but I measured a 85x11 sheet of paper and was about 18 short on measurements Itll be a keeper on my phone unless I find a more accurate one Not bad for approximate mesurements
