If youre looking for an app to share your route and destination rather than just your location this app is a good start However its not a replacement for Twist yet If you like me want to let your spouse know that youre on the way home or another location on a regular basis its nice that the app keeps track of recent destinations but you still have to manually find contacts to share with Saving recent or favorite contacts would be helpful More disappointing is that Routeshare uses text messages to initiate tracking and a browser to view your route I really want all sharing viewing and notifications to happen in the app It can be done so Im still waiting A Good Start
Does not take traffic into account Works fairly well but
I was driving around the country and its not exactly safe to be texting my hosts from the road This app does exactly what it says I choose to send out a link via email and the recipients can view my progress in any browser Just perfect I love how it shuts off when I arrive I could see myself using this to let my girlfriend know when Im coming home so maybe add the ability to save my home and my work location I dont know Keep up the good work This really scratches an itch
I havent used Run Keepers or Stravas location tracking features yet but you could check those out It crashed once on my iPhone 5S The site said I arrived at my destination 4 minutes ago when I hadnt arrived At first I thought the app would share at the intervals you decide new tweet every 30 seconds but it uses intervals to check your location and upload it Good start
Nothing but constant crashes I tried to log in before I registered accidentally and it crashed on me I went back in and actually registered It crashed again when I tapped Register and would then never relaunch It just immediately crashed every single time I tried to launch the app How do idiot apps like this get past Apples gatekeepers Complete junk
You cant register through the app and the app is the only way to register Looking forward to trying it once it actually works Doesnt work
