I use this every day to plan delivery routes Awesome tool that does exactly what I need First I type in all the addresses of potential deliveries so they appear as green pins on the map Then I can see at a glance what the most effective route might be As I schedule customers I add their addresses to the map as stops with their name delivery window items and phone number in the notes section I make a different journey for each day and a different route for each truck I use the estimated driving time to fill out a delivery checklist for my crews then I email the truck phones their routes so they can simply tap on the addresses to route and tap on the phone numbers to call the customers The only feature request that would be nice is tentative stops allow the green pins to be tentative so they don t disappear when you exit the route and add a button to clear all tentative stops                     Great for Routing Local Delivery Company dnwceo

The app shows journeys trips with a sub set of routes days The journey overview doesn t tell me how long my total trip is The list of routes doesn t show a total for that day either I have to drill into each day to view a map that shows one option and distance then write it down to add all up all the individual routes days distances into a trip total What the heck This doesn t work at all for a bicycle motorcycle or even car tour None of the routes days starts and ends auto connect Going longer or shorter one day requires manually modifying all the remaining routes The app has zero logic I could do more with a spread sheet on my phone with map links The documentation is absolutely terrible I emailed the help desk asking 3 or 4 questions They only answered one of them how to switch units to miles Never would have guessed how as it s not even done in the app and not shown how in the minuscule built in help I emailed saying I still needed help with the unanswered questions 2 more times but still got no replies I said I would have to give them a bad review if they didn t reply or help me and still they continue to ignore me Well guys here s to ignoring customers DO NOT BUY THIS APP SAVE YOUR MONEY THIS DEVELOPER HAS NO IDEA OF HOW TO WRITE A PROFESSIONAL FUNCTIONAL APP     Useless Form64

This is a 5 star tool when it works which is not all that often lately The current problems started after creating 80 destinations to a trip and only a handful of them synced After reloading the program I now have trips created by other users In fact these trips even show up when a new account is created so be prepared to delete these and cross you fingers By the way if a location can t be found on a valid address on an iPhone exit and kill the program Re enter the address and it should work the second time which is the problem with this app There are too many problems         Former heavy user is throwing in the towel Slingbob

I viewed a video on this app and it looked like just what I needed a mapping program that let s me create routes and add multiple waypoints Installed it and I suddenly had about 50 routes on my iPhone that were created by others took a while to delete Then I tried to create a sample journey and add waypoints Got to add the waypoints but the route did not show on the map and there was no way to save it This app is not very intuitive and does not seem to work for me A waste of time and money     Piece of Crap alan_smithee

I like this app It provides a map based method of organizing a driving trip s Easy to add waypoints with notes etc and drive times Good syncing between iPad and iPhone There isn t a calendar feature so it isn t a day planner                 Useful Morro Steve

I had the problem of crashing but like many app updates I had to delete the app and reinstall The saved previous routes were recovered from the cloud sync Wish I could add an address in text and have it create the markers                 Love this app fast and easy Allegria2

I agree it could use a clearer user guide but I was able to figure it out Select a journey With that journey selected one can now add routes Select waypoints by searching or directly touching the map useful when zoomed in pretty far One typically needs to resort the order of the waypoints since you probably are adding intermediate points Click on the Edit label then touch the waypoint you want to move on its far right edge then drag If you want to do a similar route but leave out some destinations create a new blank route select the route with excess waypoints Click one you want to include A copy to route appears Select it and it will give you a list other routes you can copy it to select your new blank route It does crash a little too often but it s workable You can get a directions list but it doesn t show miles from the last waypoint that would be a useful update to the app for multiple day trips                 Useful planning tool Robert Wilson

Excellent concept but lack of user instruction make the application so difficult to use that I have frequently given up and left the application I am currently trying to plat a route with multiple stops I managed to enter the first stop and even got a nicely plated map but upon entering the second stop the application acted like it was my first and totally by passed the first stop And without clear and precise user instructions I have been unable to edit the application to provide the proper sequence of stops in my driving route     Lacks clear and precise instructions lencoff

This was a great app but since this upgrade it just crashes and is therefore useless I managed to downgrade to v2 4 and that works well     Don t upgrade Malta vacationer

Purchased a number of months ago deleted when I was unable to construct a travel plan Recently gave it another try still of no use to me Asked friend to use my app Despite his having more patience and experience with varied software he was not able to make it work Disapointing     Unable to Use ShePersists!

This is a fantastic app I ve been using it for a while now and continually find new benefits Alternative routes A variety of routes to help chose trips vacations measure distances travel times etc I used it for trips in the U S as well as Germany I even use it to map my walking or jogging routes through my neighborhood to measure distances for my workouts When in California I use it to map out my wine tasting trips through Napa or Paso Robles or wherever Makes for efficient traveling and also a good record of where I ve been I showed this app to a few people and they bought it just for their travels around Texas Its uses are numerous I even like playing with the app planning routes to places I ll probably never visit but it s such a hoot Great entertainment                     Map your Travels Big Man se3

This app is quite good and would be useful for planning motorcycle trips as the waypoints are easy to drop to create a route that is fun for motorcycling instead of just a quickest route There are a few things that need addressing however On the iPad which I would consider to be the place to plan a route before sharing it with an iPhone the app needs to be able to work in portrait mode and also have the ability to hide the My Routes sidebar to optimize the size of the map the map is sized to only just over half of the screen which is a waste of the iPad s large screen It also needs a my location arrow to quickly get to your location after scrolling around the map Finally it would be useful if the Navigate option on a waypoint that outputs the point to Navigon for example had the option to navigate through all the waypoints This is potentially a great app with some changes             Not bad AJGoods

Lotsa luck trying to get the app to cooperate long enough to map out a route So bad I not only deleted from the iPad I also deleted it from my desktop hard drive to be sure I NEVAH run across this thing again Waste of time and money     Beyond horrendous TreoRenegade

This has the potential of a great app but the routing has some quirks It rearranges the order of stops when it plans the route I still plan to use it but the bug takes away from the experience             Ver good planner but needs some work DMIreson

This may be a picky criticism but I really wish you would enlarge the highway marker signs on the map They are so small and usually hidden by the colored route that I can t see what the number of the highway is When I enlarge a portion of the map to make the highway sign bigger everything magnifies EXCEPT the highway sign Like I said really nit picky but it bugs me                 Fix Highway marker size grumpy professor

Screenshots show that you can export your route to maps and navigon but there are only three options in the menu print email and twitter I bought this app specifically so I could export it out to my GPS app for voice guidance     Where s the export Oioi u

Planning 2 trips this summer and found this APP I have it synced between iPad and iPhone on both my devices and wife s devices which makes it excellent for both of us to plan OUR trip We look up the places to visit and add to the planner It is very easy The mileage between locations is excellent as it allows for overnight stop planning Our estimated trip total mileage will be about 7000 I have used Microsoft streets n trips which is also excellent but wanted something we could use on our apple products This seems to fit the bill                     Two Thumbs Up Trailwinder50

I have planned two vacations with this so far and it has been very handy My car club does a lot of driving tours and this is very nice for planning events on the trip I wish when you mark a point of interest it stayed there for reference when you don t have access to the internet But a very good app and would recommend                 Nice to use Troush81

Put my beginning and end points in tried to search for restaurants along the route the app sends me literally around the world when I search for restaurant There are basically no useful POIs in the app     Can t find restaurants hotels etc pretty useless jim_perry

The app seems pretty good except for when trying to navigate using Maps When Maps is opened it defaults to walking rather than driving Of course this means you don t get any directions if the distance is of any significance Please fix this This is one of the most important aspects navigation of the app         Problem when trying to navigate with Maps Mpmaxjr

Routes is a delightful app Intuitive and easy to use The only glitch is that I haven t found a way to prevent the app from automatically regenerating a route every time a waypoint is added instead of waiting until all the waypoints are imputted We are planning a multiple stage journey throughout the USA breaking the round trip into segments Within each segment we add waypoints as we discover possibilities The waypoints may not be in the quickest route we know it but the app slows down to regenerate Also when one searches for a general location all kinds of points pop up fire stations random stores and services instead of simply the location Thus one has to remove markers to have a clean path Overall I really like this app It is just the thing to start planning of either research or vacation travel                 Using Routes to plan multiple trips SmccombAWOL
