I ve been using this app for years to track my wife s car and my car It s helped me to save money at a mechanic when they recommend a service and all I need to do is consult my iPad or iPhone The downside is that the search function doesn t touch the notes So if you get 80 000 miles service completed for example you need to make a separate entry for each thing they do in order for it to pop up in search results Since usually I go in for one thing at a time that s not that big of a deal for me                 Great app AJLewis1

I m a huge fan of tracking everything about my vehicles and this app knocks it out of the park It is rare to see a tracker that even calculates for jerry cans which is nice for off road enthusiasts and the like The data entry is as efficient as it gets especially on the iPhone version I mainly use the iPad version when I m home and want to review the statistics and look at the projected maintenance schedule This app really is must have for me and I thank the Dev for putting in the time and thought on this one                     My go to tracker Rokcrawler

I m a big fan of this app and its iPhone partner Sure it would have been nice to pay for one universal app but this developer seems very dedicated to both of them and is responsive to questions and suggestions The app is useful right out of the box but it s also versatile enough to fully customize the maintenance schedules and gas inputs I track MPG for different brands of gas not just types of gas I only use regular I can see which brands run better in my vehicle I also really like the trip reports it helps my carve out my fuel vs maintenance expenses for business trips making my personal budgeting easier I highly recommend checking this app out and I have tried about 5 others This update fixed my two minor complaints which were auto decimals and Dropbox syncing happening more quickly Thanks                     Great MPG and Maintenance App IgnitedSoul

I ve been using Catamount s MPG since back in the Newton days Unfortunately the upgrade to iOS 8 broke that app and I was suddenly stuck I learned that Road Trip not only has a web app available to convert your data but someone on the MPG forums said that Darren was very helpful in the transition Fortunately I had all my data on the iPad but didn t know how to read the sqlite database I emailed Darren and within a day he replied that if I wanted to send him the sqlite data he d convert it for me So I did It s now been less than two days and I m up and running on Road Trip and quite happy that I didn t miss a beat with my motorcycle s maintenance I can t recommend this app highly enough If you re coming from MPG it s a no brainer If you re just looking to track your vehicle for the first time it s an obvious choice and the fact that the developer is so thoughtful and available should make it a very clear choice of what to buy                     Great app superb support yroJJory

I am using both the iPad and iPhone versions of the app I use it for tracking expenses and maintenance on my automobiles and tractor Data entry is intuitive and flexible Reporting is informative and beneficial I appreciate the benefits and flexibility available for scheduling recurring expenses and maintenance as well as recording repairs and such when they happen I currently have all manufacturer recommended maintenance intervals entered The combination of time hours and mileage reminders takes the guess work out of knowing when maintenance is due I also like the fact that when a maintenance item is selected that all similar maintenance items are immediately grouped so you can see the history of this particular maintenance action I downloaded all the free apps and gave them all a fair whirl I also purchased and used a number of the pay apps before I settled on this one I feel this is a truly professional grade app Since I have and use both the iPad and iPhone versions I need to use the Dropbox feature to merge data entries New entries merge just fine across the devices However I hope that a future version adds the ability and option to do this automatically as well as adds the ability to propagate corrected updated entries from device to device so the use of multiple devices can be used more seamlessly In comparison to all the other auto fuel and maintenance apps I have tried I must to give this app five stars I will keep my eye out for further enhancements that make it even better Cheers                     Nice App mbrun1

Very good app Looked at many available and pulled the trigger on this one Don t regret it in the least Feature I love the best scheduled maintenance Our family normally kept all this info in written form Great for keeping up with stuff but there was not a good system for looking into the future I took the time to input all the data into Numbers not a hard process at all particularly with all the help on the web and in the app great job on that front developers I then imported everything into the app and was all set I will say that I had to do it twice as I was learning the syntax for the columns and such but that s to be expected I strongly recommend this if you re working for old written data files No need to lose that information My suggestion for improvement seamless syncing between devices The whole backup to Dropbox merge between devices is not best When you merge entries it does not delete old entries For example I recently replaced the engine air filter and logged it When I merged the new entry from the iPad to the iPhone it kept the old entry and I still had a reminder that I needed to change my air filter My workaround just deleted the vehicle from the iPhone and download ALL entries from the iPad Don t know how all the cloud software works but it seems that if you could put an entry on the iPad it would automatically update the vehicle on the iPhone and visa versa I have this feature in several other apps so I know it s possible                 Love the app ask for one improvement Alligatorgar

I find the app very useful tracking fuel and maintenance expenses If you own both an iPhone and iPad you would need to purchase both the iPhone and iPad versions Sync between devices is made easy by using Dropbox The only problem is that you have to remember to backup to or restore from Dropbox This causes problems if you have two or more individuals using the same vehicle and fills up or has maintenance performed on a vehicle If the data was stored in Dropbox and not on the device there would be no need to sync devices With the app you can save service and repair cost but you cannot use the camera to scan the service repair order to the data base for future use Service reminders work great as long as you enter each gas fill up                 Very Useful App Carl45631
