Road To Hana GPS Guide

This app provides a lot of great information about many sites along the road to Hana I especially liked the way the app have spoken directions and recommendations The only negative I experienced was that the app drained my battery very quickly After two hours of driving I had to turn off my phone When using the app while my phone was charging the voice features were disabled              Effective

Loved the audio throughout the stopping points Keep up the great work I look forward to purchasing other similar apps when I travel                 Great app and worked via GPS without cell service

After driving the road to Hana utilizing the app yesterday I can say it works as promised and helps you focus on meaningful stops We preprogrammed what we wanted to see and the app was spectacular at letting us not what to stop and see and what would be a waste of time Drive safe                 Great App

This app is AWESOME You will enjoy all the details and information as you drive along Hana road The voice is clear easily understood and there is even a touch of humor added to the great tips along the way My only wish is that there was a way to reverse the GPS drive so you could stop at some of your interest points that you may have missed or skipped over on your initial drive Anyway the app is really great We loved it              Amazing app

This app made or trip in the Road to Hana perfect We stopped at the places that were based in our interest places no one had told us to and avoided the things that were really a necessity to see Loved that I didnt need Internet to use while driving Plus the Hawaiian history and little trivia was great to learn Absolutely LOVED this app Totally recommend to everyone doing this road trip                 Perfect app

The app worked as it was described The problem was ATT We lost signal after the 3rd stop and never got it back until we got past the Winery So make sure your carrier has a good signal on that side of the Island or this is a waste of money        Very Disappointed

Audio quit working     Doesnt work

Unbelievably bad app Started working then stopped updating The GPS tour gave no indication of where we were on the map so the points of interest didnt make sense It was supposed to work without data but thats a lie too Ruined our day trip to Hana Wish I could give it a negative star if I could     TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

I loved this app I loved looking through the pictures and deciding what we wanted to see While traveling we loved hearing all the stories about Maui There were some great tips about waterfalls above other ones that we never would have even known about if we hadnt bought this app It was nice to just sit back and listen as we travelled You will not regret this purchase                 Dont go on the Road to Hana without it

We loved the road to Hana thanks to this app The chime went off perfectly every time we reached a stop Plus the narrator told us about every hike and stop We bought it before we went and were able to see what we wanted to do before we even got there Loved it                 So easy to use and so informative

The map is good and the narration is good and informative but some of the functionalities of the app itself are annoying Dont like how when you go into a link and come back out it doesnt bring you back to where you were before you clicked the link Also dont like how you cant zoom further into the map Makes it tough to click on some of the icons when there a many in the same area And numerous times while using the app a window popped up in the middle of the screen that said loading content and you had to close the app and restart it in order to get rid of it Would be nice if you could change the flag to a car or a dot something smaller than the flag           Pretty good but has quirks

The perfect tour guide This was just like paying for an expensive 100 tour but we got it for only 5 for the whole family We even considered the CD and the other app but we liked looking through everything first and planning out our trip It was great because we put in what we were interested in ie hikes and waterfalls at the beginning and when we got to a waterfall or hike it told us this might be a place we would want to stop The descriptions were great extremely helpful Our favorite hike was near the end we would missed it if we didnt have this app to suggest which sitesstops were better than others and descriptions of those sites to help us know whether we wanted to stop or not In all cases the app was spot on and we were glad we heeded the advice to stop or move on because of our limited time If you like to plan you can do so ahead of time and if you like to make spur of the moment decisions this app is perfect for it You wont go wrong with this app                 PalmTree5

We just got back from the Hana highway and loved this app We were able to check everything out before we left and decided what we wanted to see Then we loved the information on each stop and hearing the stories behind each stop                 Great app

We were going to buy a 20 CD when we heard about this app from some other guests SOOO glad we bought it We didnt have to worry about starting and stopping a CD it played automatically and told us about the best stops for swimming in pools and hiking Great job                 Much better than an expensive CD

This was invaluable for our trip on the road to Hana It gave us the stops we wanted to see and warned us about stops that werent really worth the time The bits of history along the way were very informative Worth the money since going on one of the big tours was outrageous and we were able to go at our own pace Highly recommended                 Forget the pricey tours

We have driven the road to Hana before and didnt realize how much we missed until we did it with this app Great feature of highlighting your interests and loved the general information given along the tour                 Hana done right

We used this and a guidebook and between the 2 we think we learned about most of the available stops I feel like there could have even been more info Would have also been nice to have it repeat the info while you are making the return trip so you can make stops you didnt fit in              Enjoyed this guide

I cant say enough about this app I will tell everyone I know to buy it it was great I thought the information about Maui was entertaining but not too much boring stuff and loved getting the heads up about all there was to do on the Road to Hana My wife gets carsick and she was able to just look out at the scenery instead of reading in a book about what there is to see we just listened as we went along I would recommend it to anyone thinking of taking the Road to Hana My kids loved seeing where we were going ahead of the trip too                 Totally worth it

I bought this before our trip and it did offer lots of info on each area of interest before we left for the Road to Hana but once we got past a certain point it stopped working as there is no GPS on the other side of the island Very glad we stopped and bought the CD in Paia Upon our return to the mainland I contacted customer support to let them know of my troubles and they were IMMEDIATELY in touch to help figure out what went wrong After going thru a checklist of fixes we determined that it probably had something to do with my phone not the app but they were very kind to refund the cost of the CD and are checking to make sure that the app has no glitches All the other reviews were so excellent Im inclined to believe that the problem had to have been on my end This app has great detail about each mile marker and is extremely informative Make sure you actually USE the hints page as it probably resolves any issues Had I done that the app would probably have worked just great Mahalo for all your help on addressing my concerns All app creators should be this conscientious              Did not work but contacted support and they were very accomodating

I was very disappointed that I paid 5 for this app Having driven the road over 6 times this journey did not compare to the others We missed several stops because the app didnt work right at first Once we got it working we missed several stops because they just didnt exist on the app There is a tin of lag time between the stops that could easily be filled with more Hawaiian history or possibly some Hawaiian music Having done the drive once with a historian and tour guide this was fairly lame If you want a truly great experience pay the money and commit the day for temptation tours It would be nice if the people who made the app would do the same and add in some much needed dialogue and new stops Make sure to turn off your calls or the app wont work right Very disappointed I wish I could get my 5 back        Hana journey

Cant imagine doing the road to Hana trip without the app The app gives you curb by curb directions including tips history and where to park You can pay over 150 per person for a tour or just buy this app instead                 This app is a must have
