Rico theta camera has Very very low quality Dont buy it     Very low quality

The app for remote triggering insists on downloading a pano as soon as it is shot there is a delay of 1315 seconds between shots due to this I wish there was a manual transfer option for what I expected its there its great I do wish the app photos were accessible when the iphone was connected also currenty only method for getting jpegs to pc requires theta on hand not iphone              Great first gen device one warning

It gives you a message that the wifi is not connected How come I also turn off the wifi and use my phone internet and still gives me the same message Please FIX THAT ISSUE other wise I will have to remove this app Only works with pic on the album     Camera doesnt work

the theta software worked 34 times and then locked up on my iPad mini I tried to get online support but was told the software is NOT compatible with the iPad how sad I bought the iPad just torun the theta sigh        iPad mini with Retina Display

Hope tetha would let other users to view the picture in 360 on any other device and they doesnt have to view it in chrome And also let this 360 picture compatible with instagramplss           360 view

You need this app if you have a Theta and it works well for taking a shot but at times it refuses to connect to the device Im not sure why they didnt use Bluetooth There are lots of camera settings you can change but without live preview its hard to know what youre doing              Still a work in progress but essential

I dont own the Ricoh Theta unfortunately but the sample picture created with it is amazing I cant wait to see how people use it                 Incredible

This app really needs to be reviewed as app hardware It offers a connection to the camera to snap a photo remotely but the lag time is poor The camera can go exposure to exposure much quicker with the on camera shutter button than you can take photos with the iPhone app It seems to take twice as much time to take a second photo with the app The app has a social sharing function nice However it misses the possibility for an email sharing Without question the hardware is innovative It creates a full spherical image in a moment The pixel quality is not great A lot of noise in the imageprobably an inability for the lenses to resolve the detail I was hoping to see The sensors on my camera are also somewhat mismatched One half of the image has a red cast to the image The color casts may just be my particular camera           Great concept

Unless you have a Facebook account you wont be able to share Theta images via this app Im currently traveling and I have no way to share these photos Very disappointed     Facebook account required to share

The quality of the pictures arent great but thru do the job The 360 experience is pretty cool And you can take a picture remotely too which is great                 Pretty convenient

I really like the ease of use and conceptually the camera and remote functions on the app are excellent But the very disappointing low photo quality of the camera makes both basically already obsolete I would have a hard time finding a good use for this camera even if it were free let alone 300 so I will be returning it If Ricoh can get an image quality as good as current smart phones a five star rating is more like it     Low quality photos

Love the app and the camera The improvements are great Recently it stopped working with Twitter Tried removing and reinstalling the app and it just will not connect to Twitter anymore It also cannot work with tumblr as it keeps saying the password is incorrect But Ive tested it many times and I am putting in the correct password Facebook however is working fine           Great app but Twitter problems

Stay away 400 for a camera that shoots grainy 2 megapixel images and an app that does not support local exports to your camera roll Also Ricoh decided to add their advertisements to your shared images on Facebook There are plenty of other software based solutions at the App Store so if you do not need the instant one click capture you are better of using another app        Run

1 Need Facebook to login 2 Cant post to Ricoh host site and share a link to it via email or message 3 Does not show battery level as it does in Microsofts Photosynth 4 Does not save to your photo album on phone 5 Cannot set privacy for posted photos on their site shared photos to tumblr twitter Facebook just post links to the hosted photo on Ricohs site which shows your personal album of every photo you have taken 6 No way to mute sound when taking photo Needs an update Its not manufactured in the US and customer service said they would pass on my comments to the correct people Not sure if that will happen        Flaws in App

I am having fun using the Ricoh Theta Wondering if it possible to build into the app the ability to view the photosvideos on VR headsets It seems with the two screen view the use of the gyroscope it is possible                 VR Possibility

The Theta camera itself rocks Works fast and pictures are loads of fun But the app lacks basic features like export or save as etc These things seem simple enough and its silly they were overlooked I have to screen grab with my phone to share Pic quality goes down And no i dont like being forced to share through facebook At least not without editing the pic somewhat something i have to go do in another app after screen grabbing Fix these things and i will give more stars        Cool camera lackluster app
