RescuePin

This is awesome All I need to press is the single pin button and viola instant notification to my friends where my location is I like how this sends a text instead of an email                 Great Idea

The app is easy to use and has great reception even on my IPad It let me choose who I wanted to send my pin to and even gave me the option to send a pin when I opened the app Although I was never able to send a message through my IMessage when I sent the RescuePin my brother got it almost immediately Its great for addresses that are hard to find in my case my college dorm Its a big campus but with RescuePin my brother was able to find my dorm room with no problem it showed him the location on maps all the way down to what side of the building I was in                 This is awesome

I didnt know if rescue pin would work on my iPad 2 without a cellular plan but it worked well                 Ipad2

Nice app to have to let others know where I am Works great                 Very useful

With all these kidnappings in the news these days it is a good app to have Load your most reliable contacts then send a message indicating your location on a GPS map Of course it has many other applications like letting people know your location when late for a meeting or letting people know where you are when lost Simple Easy to use Only two buttons                 Great Product

RescuePin is truly a safety product that you can take anywhere and use in a discreet manner As a young woman in college I am frequently alone I live off campus and my family lives hours away My parents feel at ease with the ability to know exactly where I am if an emergency were to occur I also feel better about living and working on my own in an unfamiliar city because of my ability to quickly tell my parents and family where I am My parents were excited to hear such a product existed Recently I got into a car accident not too far from my apartment complex I felt distressed and when I called my parent the first thing they asked was where are you Of course I could describe buildings and landmarks but in a time like that I was unable to give them an exact location Rescue Pin would have been a perfect example of when to utilize this app My parents would have been able to notify the insurance company all while miles away of where my location was At first I was curious if I would actually use the app if there were an emergency and I actually did think about the app when I was asked where are you I think the settings on the app truly enhances its ability to notify loved ones of your location in an uncomfortable situation The onepin settings allows a user to click on the app and directly send their location to individuals on their contact list Personally I have the app on my home screen I see the app as just another precaution a way to know you are doing all you can to be safe and alert I have recommended the app to my friends who are in a similar situation as me                 Perfect for college students
