    U2 I can no longer use the watch as it always tries Contacting iPhone I ll stop my subscription until this is fixed It s unfortunate this was such a good app U it seems like the app is kind of forgotten It d be nice to get an update for iPhone X and some watch speed up With the latest iOS watchOS the app still kind of works but the UI tends to queue up exercises you completed and then all of a sudden finishes them For an app with a subscription fee I feel a small update to fix these issues is pretty important Original review I use this app for every workout and after trying several others this is by far my favourite It is simple it lets you focus on lifting it is well integrated with iOS and gives just the right amount of stats However the workouts stock and downloadable are a little lacking but once you set up your personal workouts that little hurdle becomes irrelevant Well worth the money     Great gym app updated review Jad6os

    This is a great app for tracking your workouts It keeps it simple and straight forward and somehelp shortcuts in creating programs Some helpful pieces would be tracking across devices integration with the health app and being able to assign programs to a calendar so you know what you are doing for that day being able to import programs to make it easier to add to the app Again these are small and this is for people that know what they want to accomplish with a buch of unnecessary bells and whistles communities selling products etc It focus is tracking                 One of the best apps a few additions and you need nothing else iPhone in Denver
    August 2016 I support this app and recommend it to everyone in the GYM I ve been waiting for the Apple Watch app for a long time but I know that the developers are working hard on that I ll update my review to 5 stars when they release the amazing Apple Watch app April 2016 No Apple Watch version yet This app was the best available for workouts however it s falling behind since it doesn t have an Apple Watch version Please developer update the app I ll be happy to update my review November 2015 This is the best workout app in the App Store Period The only request for the developer is include the missing images for some exercises since there are images for 80 of the exercises I ll be happy to update my rating if you include images in all exercises                 Looking forward for the Apple Watch app RealTrueBlue

    I love this app Most apps I ve downloaded are more for tracking stuff after you finish I ve been searching for an app that would let me add my workout program ahead of time and take it to the gym with me and have everything programmed in so I could just check off as I go It s really easy to use and waaay less clicking that the only other app I tried that was even similar I just have to click off each rep as I go and it counts down the rests in between exercises automatically Building in supersets took a minute to figure out but works great This even lets you update your programs after each workout so you start the next workout where you left off and then tracks your progress over time The exercise database seems pretty comprehensive and let s you add new ones easily There s always room for improvement a little tedious to navigate the history section and would love to be able to change the program on the fly since I ve been outgrowing some easier exercises and subbing in more challenging ones as I go but so far I m loving this and have gotten my sister on board and easily shared my programs with her so we can be following the same routines albeit from afar that she was easily able to upload into her app Oh and when I emailed a question to the developer he responded same day Great customer service                     Exactly what I ve been looking for Ezaire75

    If you ve already got a regular routine and you want to track it in this app it ll take you a long time to add all of your stuff into this app I ve had it crash on me twice now and although it s pretty the amount of clicking and moving around that is needed to do basic functions like logging how many reps is annoying To pick a number of reps you must either slide a bar to the left right to choose a number from 1 to 20 or click a button every time you go to this screen to get a keypad then hit backspace to clear our the previous number then enter your number then click out of that box Pretty to look at really rough to use             Difficult to Use tebriel

    This app is the only one of it s kind from what I can tell it s better than any other app that requires some annoying subscription to an online community but I really wish they would make a few updates It seems to be geared toward people who are obsessed with fitness rather than than just a non chalant user it requires too much time to input workouts For starters there should be a settings menu where users can do things like turn off the rest menu so if you don t want to plan your workout to that level of detail you don t have to be bothered by that pop up menu every time you put a new exercise in You should also be able to put in a workout NOT in real time in an easier way So after you re back from the gym you can just put it in there from what you remember And most importantly you really should be able to choose from recent exercises when you do a workout without a program Eventually it d be great if they could get it to upload to iOS 8 s health app I m gonna stick with it and hope the programmer reads this D Anyway it s great if you want a way to keep long term track of ANY exercise and it s a good replacement to keeping a fitness notebook                     Good Guybot

    I have been using Gym Buddy which is an abandoned app from iOS 4 days because I have yet to find a suitable replacement Finally I found this app and it does what it does well It could use some UI streamlining in the areas of data entry for adjusting the weight and reps used during a workout If the app didn t require a second tap or third tap to change the weight and reps it would be much better So to be more specific when you set up a workout you can base it on what you did previously or add in a preset weight and rep number Either way if you end up doing a different weight or number of reps then you must tap on that set then tap the weight line and scroll to find the cute weight graphic if it goes up high enough which it doesn t about half the time which is really annoying because then you have to hit Keypad and delete the weight and type in a new one then once you get the weight correct it s one tap to close the weight window and another tap to select reps then slide to the rep number you want and tap it then tap back This should be condensed to where a tap on the set brings up a simple entry for weight with a toggle tab or swipe to switch to reps and a single done button at the top The other main feature that is missing is volume calculations In the reports screen you can select charts by programs but it is really worthless It doesn t show you anything except the number of times you ve completed that program and when the first and last dates were that you completed it This screen should be more useful and show a complete list of every day you did this program along with the volume of each workout You should be able to sort the list by date or by total volume so you can see if you are lifting more weight overall compared to other days I have some other ideas too but these are the most needed at the time Overall it s a solid app and well designed                 Good but could be better apostlePD

    This is one of the few apps that properly handle supersets and pairing exercises The TLC that was put into this is clear from the illustrations to even small touches like saving the rep count weight when adding additional sets Theres an astonishing level of attention to detail and other developers would do well to emulate their hard work                 But it for the supersets alone
    When you try to place measurements its only available in inches and the period doesnt work So only whole numbers work It looked promising But theres still a lot of work left     Unfinished product

    I was doing the StrongLifts 5x5 program for awhile and using their awesome app Now I decided to switch up my program but obviously the 5x5 program can only do one type of workout I tried JEFit and Bodyspace and a bunch of others and they are all filled with bloat and ads and terrible user interface This app does everything you need and its very clean user experience I really hope they add in the ability to mark a missed rep or failed set and the ability to setup progressive overload rules or deload rules That would make it PERFECT But Im not complaining having to manage my own progressive overload isnt a big deal but I think a lot of users would pay for an inapp upgrade to unlock something like that                 Finally everything I need minus the bloat
    Im an intermediate body builder and this app is crucial to my progress I previously used Fitness Buddy for over a year which is good but they havent updated anything needed Your app is far more intuitive user friendly and is far easier to check off sets in the midst of a workout Excellent app that any gym regulate would fall in love with after just one use in their workout The best part is the team truly listens to your suggestions and incorporates them into the updates when possible                 Great App advancing each update
    I bought this app because I was tired of carrying paper and pencil to the gym and needed a better way to keep track of my workouts This app is pretty much exactly what I was looking for It lets me create customized workouts and keep track of my progress Pretty simple but very useful I have been using this app for about a month and I have noticed a couple of bugs The first one is in the calendar version of my history I like that I can look at the calendar and it will show a dot on every day I worked out However you are supposed to be able to click on the day you worked out and see which workout program you followed What I have noticed is that if you want to know what you did on Monday for example you have to click on Tuesday The dot is on the right day but the link is a day off Not a big deal if you know where to click but it would be nice if they fixed that The other bug and this one is the big one for me is in the Treadmill section The layout for this section is nice It lets you choose whether your workout was based on speed pace or perceived exertion level how many minutes you ran what the incline was and what treadmill program you used So if it worked the way it was supposed to it would be great However I am horrible at cardio so when I run on the treadmill I only go 35 mph The program defaults to 85 mph and even if I change it to 35 it wont save that change I guess that would be ok if I never planned on changing my speed but I like to think I will improve and be able to go faster and I want to be able to track that The way to get around this bug is to enter your speed in kph instead of mph Kph isnt intuitive for me though so I dont like entering it that way I would guess there are other bugs in areas I havent used yet but these are the ones I know about so far Overall despite the bugs I do think this app is immensely helpful and I would still recommend it Hopefully they will iron out these problems on the next update              Great app with a few bugs

    Use this app 6 days a week to track all of my lifts Works great You can change the settings from kg to lbs Crashes sometimes but you can always pull it back up where you left off and they actively release updates to fix bugs and add new features                 Great App for tracking workouts

    Finally A workout app that gets down to basics It looks great and does what it needs to do very well I also love how it turns my data into useful information Theres definitely room for improvement and the first would definitely be to allow users to select multiple exercises when building a workout THEN add in the sets and reps rather than one at a time Also allowing to change the rest timer chime would help too              Simple and Elegant

    I make very simple workout programs Like 3 exercises each program with 3 sets a piece When I go back to the program later it has changed In one specific instance it replaced the other two exercises in the program with chin ups which was the third I didnt dislike the app but because of this glitch it is unusable for me Maybe it happens when I update the program after a workout Also the app maker needs to clean up some of the exercises There are duplicates     Doesnt save workout programs correctly

    I still gave the app 5 stars but theres a few features that can be added to make it perfect Most of these are just for the OCD type Ability to add to an exercise a LR set add a rest in between exercises you have to add rest inside the exercise itself between sets add image to your custom exercise edit target muscle on custom exercise but most importantly a timer that measure time elapsedcounts down during workout and that counts down the rest time and notifies with an alarm circuit training                 Almost Perfect

    Ive used Reps Sets for about six months now and I love all of its features Its clean quick and it isnt bogged down by overcomplicating things As far as features I would love the following features were added 1 The ability to write notes about exercises I occasionally will modify certain exercises and I would like to be reminded via a small text note the next time I do that exercise 2 Choosing weight with dumbbells can be confusing Its not clear whether its per arm or total weight It would be nice if this was noted 3 Myfitnesspal integration 4 Cloudbased sharing so I could see my workouts on different devices              Good but could be great

    I almost never actually purchase apps but I went out on a limb this time and could not be happier I love that you can set timer alarms that will notify you so that I can keep the phone in my pocket as long as possible and speed up my overall time spent working out I also love all of the collaborative diagnostic information that it gives you right on the front screen As a senior kinesiology major its refreshing to have a scientifically correct weight lifting app Theres so much bad info out there from people that have no business giving exercise advice so its nice to see the correct info within the app with agonists antagonists different functionalities and proper anatomical diagrams Knowing all of the pieces of the puzzle go a long way in making your workouts more effective                 Finally a Great Workout App
    This app is the only one of its kind from what I can tell its better than any other app that requires some annoying subscription to an online community but I really wish they would make a few updates It seems to be geared toward people who are obsessed with fitness rather than than just a nonchalant user it requires too much time to input workouts For starters there should be a settings menu where users can do things like turn off the rest menu so if you dont want to plan your workout to that level of detail you dont have to be bothered by that pop up menu every time you put a new exercise in You should also be able to put in a workout NOT in real time in an easier way So after youre back from the gym you can just put it in there from what you remember And most importantly you really should be able to choose from recent exercises when you do a workout without a program Eventually itd be great if they could get it to upload to iOS 8s health app Im gonna stick with it and hope the programmer reads this D Anyway its great if you want a way to keep long term track of ANY exercise and its a good replacement to keeping a fitness notebook                 Good
    I have been searching for an app like this for a long time that doesnt require some stupid subscription to a community Things I love the user interface is top notch The app is very easy to use and has great visual appeal The library of exercises is comprehensive and if you need to add something its easy to do Few things I am hoping the developers improve make it quicker to add a set so you can get on with your workout Right now there is just too many clicks Make it quick like fitlist but keep your interface and functionality Apple watch support would be another great add              Easy to use hoping for a few key updates
    Its worth the money but it has some glitches and I have crashed it I tried editing an exercise but I cant unless make copy and when I choose the copy and edit thats when it always crashes I will like when Im in programs when I click edit to be able to arrange not only to delete and star something In programs had the option to group 2 workouts and name the group for example back and biceps workout group it and name the group Monday or any other day NEEDS WORK I use it but when the problems are fixed Ill change my rating to 5 stars           Its worth the money
    This is by far the quickest way to track your workouts Quick and painless program setup including supersets trisets individual rest timers and more The new iOS 7 interface is slick and clean as well and the customer support is top notch too I had a few questions and they were all answered in a succintly manner I highly recommend this app                 Best tracking app out there

    No Apple Watch version yet This app was the best available for workouts however its falling behind since it doesnt have an Apple Watch version Please developer update the app Ill be happy to update my review This is the best workout app in the App Store Period The only request for the developer is include the missing images for some exercises since there are images for 80 of the exercises Ill be happy to update my rating to 5 stars if you include images in all exercises           Best Workout App
    Good apps require two key elements First they must offer a desired service or entertainment Second they must do so in a friendly and inviting way This app does the latter in spades with amazing customer service and an interface that is top notch However the app still needs to add more exercises and a few features It sounds like v18 will bring some of those into play and very soon this app will be at the top of the list              Potential to be my workout app
    I have been using Gym Buddy which is an abandoned app from iOS 4 days because I have yet to find a suitable replacement Finally I found this app and it does what it does well It could use some UI streamlining in the areas of data entry for adjusting the weight and reps used during a workout If the app didnt require a second tap or third tap to change the weight and reps it would be much better So to be more specific when you set up a workout you can base it on what you did previously or add in a preset weight and rep number Either way if you end up doing a different weight or number of reps then you must tap on that set then tap the weight line and scroll to find the cute weight graphic if it goes up high enough which it doesnt about half the time which is really annoying because then you have to hit Keypad and delete the weight and type in a new one then once you get the weight correct its one tap to close the weight window and another tap to select reps then slide to the rep number you want and tap it then tap back This should be condensed to where a tap on the set brings up a simple entry for weight with a toggle tab or swipe to switch to reps and a single done button at the top The other main feature that is missing is volume calculations In the reports screen you can select charts by programs but it is really worthless It doesnt show you anything except the number of times youve completed that program and when the first and last dates were that you completed it This screen should be more useful and show a complete list of every day you did this program along with the volume of each workout You should be able to sort the list by date or by total volume so you can see if you are lifting more weight overall compared to other days I have some other ideas too but these are the most needed at the time Overall its a solid app and well designed              Good but could be better
