Awesome app Controls while house music entertainment Must have if you use Airfoil Design and polish are superb                 So awesome

This is awesome for me to be able to control Rdio around the house streaming to multiple speakers Works just as youd expect Visually its a very heavy app compared to the other apps on my home screen                 Great app hope to see iOS 7 updates soon

While the app is very well designed and a pleasure to use it doesnt provide enough control of the apps playing music You can switch the music source from within Reemote and pause it or click NextPrevious you cant actually select which song to play to which Pandora station to listen to Adding in that kind of control would make it the ultimate media app and its a shame its missing in a 499 app           Not enough control

This app is completely useless without the remote server application on your mac and with the website down it is impossible to get     Support website down

Does what it says on the tin but wont control Pandora app running on OS X It would be nice to be able to skip or thumbs updown songs at least           Does not control Pandora

terrific app Very useful There were some huge problems with Yosemite and some builds on iTunes but everything works for me again Yosemite 10104 beta fixes the last remaining problems Im very happy again after months of frustration                 really useful and works again

The heart isnt there App is great when it works but as people has said below there are times when the app cant find the serverside application I have to physically go to the server to restart the app every now and then Its disappointing for me having paid for licenses for ALL their apps both desktop and ios and after so many iterations they still cant get it fixed Ill review this again if they ever fix this           Good app but

There are a lot of harsh reviews for this app but it has worked flawlessly for me with multiple apple tvs other AirPlay devices iOS devices and even AirServer PCsMacs If you want to use AirPlay to its fullest ability get this app with AirFoil for Mac and youll be happy                 The app works flawlessly for me on iPhone6 iOS8

I have been using Airfoil since before iTunes could support multiple speakers The idea of an iPhone app that would let you control Airfoil from anywhere in your house is a great idea Unfortunately 1 499 is a lot to pay for an add on to software youve already purchased and 2 Use of the app requires that you run the remote server software on the machine you are controlling Where do you get this remote server software Its listed as a free download from the developers website The website however is down and appears to have been down for several weeks There is no way to get tech support and no way to get the piece of software that is required to make the app work I do not think that Apple should be collecting 499 for every download of the app when it is impossible to make it work I think Apple should pull the app from the store until such time as it can be made to work     Marty M

Finds my AirFoil speakers without problem and on a consistent basis Lets me select speakers and adjust volume Between this app my Yamaha receiver app and my phone I can AirPlay music all over my house and backyard Now I just need a remote for my Macs Pandora One app and Ill be set                 Works as advertised

Utilize Spotify and Airfoil to play to multiple Airplay speakers around the house Add this little slick utility and I always have control of the volume etc when out by the pool or working I the garage Have to love technology                 Spotify Meets Airplay

I use Airfoil daily The app had an easy setup and it has a great look to it Please add DOWNCAST support for that elusive fifth star              Been waiting a long time for this

The latest version did not work with my older Mac I contacted support and they sent me an updated version that works perfectly And the app does everything I expected it to do I have never had this level of response from any other software company before Great job Thanks Kai                 Awesome Support

Another solid app from Rogue Amoeba Does just what youd expect control your Airfoil on your computer from your iPad I was too lazy to go to my Mac to change the Airfoil settings so I thought Lets see what Rogue Amoeba has on the App Store Two minutes later and voila I had what I needed and I hadnt moved an inch Thank you Rogue Amoeba                 These guys are good

Please add support for changing Pandora channels through Streambox andor support for the Pandora One app           Add More Pandora Support

I been using Airfoil Remote for the past couple of years I havent really experienced too many problems with Airfoil Remote One thing I noticed is that it can take sometimes up to 15 seconds to load Its definitely nothing wrong with the network or the hardware involved with the Airfoil server To me it looks like some optimization can take place there With IOS 8 and Apple Watch this app is starting to become outdated I wish we could see an IOS8 widget to control the sources instead of launching the app Also there needs to be Apple Watch support for selecting sources The last update for this app was back in 2014 Hopefully future features are not dead on this app as I see lots of potential           Decent App but much needs to be improved

Constantly drops and usually cant even make a connection Please update and improve     Never works

I use this with the windows version of airfoil a welcome and recent development When changing sources it seems to lose connection and get stuck looking for airfoil Force close the app try to change the source and stuck again Disappointing when you pay about 25 for the app and accompanying windows software When it works its great allows you to airplay to multiple devices simultaneously        Getting there

Been waiting for this app for years Works as designed and I can not control all my airplay devices throughout the house Great Job                 Easy to use and works as designed

Had researched this app before it was part of Rogue Ameoba and didnt buy because it did not support control of Pandora I immediately bought the new version released by Rogue Ameoba thinking I finally had an app that would allow control of my Pandora Desktop app with my iPhone Shame on me should have researched in more detail as it still is lacking in that functionality        Doesnt control Pandora

This dont sent the sound to different speakers just send to iTunes on win or OS X system and this send the sound It is like a remote control for iTunes     A complete waste of money

Looks good until u try to select a speaker and the app either crashes or researches for the airfoil running on my pc Finds it again and the whole cycle starts again Never actually connects and play the music on my desired speakers     Crashes they should refund my money

Use airfoil on my apple desktop and wanted to be able to control Pandora outside Unfortunately this app is not compatible with Pandora Just wasted 499        Nice Idea

Fantastic Be sure though to load the remote server on your Mac or it will not work You have to type in the http address in you browser to find that is provided on the app info You wont find it browsing the web Airfoil needs to provide this info better Took me awhile to figure out                 Geek

I wanted to stream Google Music to an Airport Express connected to my stereo system It does do that using the 2500 Mac App However it cant do anything more than adjust the volume So it is not the greatest thing that it markets itself as Set up and ease of use are good Just kind of pointless if your musicradio is browser based        Not very useful

Ive been trying for years to find a set of apps that would let me run my subscription KPIG stream through all the AirPlay speakers in my house at the same time I stumbled on an Apple Support page suggesting Airfoil so I installed it After getting my KPIG stream to work with QuickTime Player I was beside myself until I noticed the Airfoil Remote app required Airfoil 48 or better to work Ive been using the Apple Remote app to control iTunes on my Mac Mini media server for years and really didnt want to give it up Then I read the fine print about installing Reemote Server which might work with Airfoil 47 The good new is it does Spectacular Im so happy I cant sit down Airfoil Airfoil Remote Reemote Server have FINALLY brought KPIG streaming to every AirPlay speaker I own and I own quite a few Great Job Rogue Amoeba Ill be back for more                 Works great with Airfoil 476 Reemote Server

Used to work great but last couple of months it hasnt worked at all Very disappointing     Never works anymore

Does what it says read carefully but has its share of bugs Not intuitive to setup and configurepart of which is Apples fault Really this functionality should be included in OSX and iOS At any rate once you figure it out all the Airfoil apps do work quite well and are stable Yes you do have to shell out 30 for the OSX and iOS apps but its worth it If you have multiple Airplay speakers and want wholehouse audio from more than iTunes this is the only sane way to do it For the devs please combine the remote and speakers apps Theres quite a bit of overlap in features and we should only need one app on our iOS devices              Works but needs work

When it works its a great app Problem is it seldom works since the app often cannot find the airfoil program running on my Mac its simply way too fickle Too bad since there really is no other good way to manage my nonitunes music eg Pandora Spotify to multiple speakers        Could be great

I havent been able to get the app to find and connect to my PC So far no value for my money I hope customer support can help me get it fixed     Cannot find Airfoil for Windows

This works as well as it possibly could It loads fast has a very simple and beautiful interface and works wonderfully Great work guys Now I dont have to keep schlepping back and forth between my kitchen and computer                 Fantastic

1 The idea is great Why Apple cant support streaming to multiple audio sources via Air Play is beyond me so the idea that an app hacks this problem is great 2 The execution leaves much to be desired a Was I able to stream music to multiple audio sources in my home simultaneously Yes b Was it made easy or intuitive Perhaps but likely not for the average user and certainly not for me Rogues website is extremely unhelpful I paid the 499 for the app opened it and the application spent the next 10 minute Looking for Airfoil which I thought was odd considering the app itself was the airfoil I ended up downloading Airfoil on to my Mac Air only then was my mobile app able to find Airfoil c Did Airfoil keep working No After 20 minutes of successfully playing music via my computer through the Airfoil remote app there was loads of static looked on my computer to find that this was intentional Airfoil was deliberately overlaying static and a message with a call to action that read Purchase a license key to unlock Airfoil for Mac for a single user on one or more Macs This came with a 2500 price tag Evidently I downloaded trial mode Either I have made some errors and its more workable without having to pay an incremental 25 entirely possible that Ive just missed something or Rogue has really duped customers At the very least they are guilty of incredibly crappy Support for their app At most theyve deliberately deceived customers Rogue has successfully gotten my 499 less Apples commission but it wont be getting 25 more from me What a joke 12 Star if i could The positive reviews stink of friends and family of the developers     Tease of promise

Just installed on my iPhone 5S FYI I have a Mac using Mavericks 1094 and Airfoil installed on the Mac That app works as advertised This Airfoil Remote app works until you try to adjust the master volume bottom of the Airfoil Remote screen My high end Yamaha Aventage stereo receiver is Airplay compatible and I use that for streaming music With this app after launching it oddly the volume slider is defaulted all the way to the right on max volume However the actual sound going through my receiver is at the volume I already have the receiver set to CAUTION As soon as you touch the apps master volume it immediately turns your receiver volume to the maximum Then as you slide the volume to the left lower volume it adjust the volume down FYI I am a tech savvy user and know more than the average cat This is a nice app conceptually but this bug obviously needs fixed     CAUTION MAJOR BUG You may blow your stereo speakers with this app

What will it take to get controls for Pandora running on my Mac     No Pandora control

Downloaded the app and it wont recognize Airfoil on my laptop OSX 1068 Airfoil version 476 Instead the app tells me Please update Airfoil on your Mac Ok I try that but Airfoil in my Mac tells me Im up to date WTH     Not working at all

Right now not working so much But I am sure it will So 5 stars                 Does not work right now

Works occasionally When it can connect to the Mac its pretty cool but not even close to being reliable enough to depend on Too bad     Dont pay for this

The new app is erratic not correctly showing what speakers are enabled and shows master volume as maxed when in fact it isnt     Do not upgrade to the new version july 2013

Rogue Ameoba has done a great job on this app and it works as advertised I am using my Mac server to use multiple Airplay zones and this App controls them all Theres a bit of a lag every time I reopen it while it reconnects with my server a Mac Mini that runs in the other room but that is my only real if minor complaint Except the price a bit of a shock after already paying for Airfoil on the computer side Just understand what you are buying with this App you need Airfoil running on a separate Mac or PC and the audio source coming from your anywhere else is irrelevant              Works greatjust understand what you are buying

I highly recommend this product It works It solves AirPlay delay problems I can stream music to Apple Express connected to amplified speakers to 5 different zones in my home It works perfectly                 It just plain work well

Having to pay extra for a remote for an program that cost 25 to begin with is an insult But to have it never work is even more insulting Rarely if ever is the app able to find airfoil running on my network Total waste of time and money     Complete waste of money

Connects and sees Im running pandora through it It will even let me turn speakers on and off However the very most important element is nonfunctional IT WILL NOT CONTROL VOLUME AT ALL USELESS     Connects to network but doesnt work

Wont connect most of the time Cant select playlists from Streambox another paid app Dont buy     Terrible App
