Publisher's description - Random Reminders 1.1
Stop the predictability!
Random reminders allows you to create simple notifications and that will occur over a varying range of times. Specify the frequency and probability of each individual reminder and you can control how often a notification is sent to your iPhone.
Each reminder can be grouped into user specified categories, and can be activated independently. Blackout times can be defined for the entire application, and reminders can be set to target a specific part of the day (morning, afternoon, ...). Reminders are completely customizable--whether you are in need of a relationship saver (tell your wife you love her!) or an exercise prompt (stand up and stretch!) Random Reminders can be set to send any message. Studying for an important exam? Set flash card reminders to occur at varying intervals. Need help sticking to your diet? Set reminders to help keep you on track.
Most reminder systems send notifications at a predetermined time, losing the ability to interject reminders unexpectedly.
Reminder entry is painful - the app doesn`t import or support rotation for easier typing. The UI overall makes things more difficult than they need to be. I wish the developer luck with improvement, as the core functionality appears to be there.
I did not like the methods of interacting with the app. It made a generally easy task confusing.
Idea is great.. Could use some fine tuning
-Longer text would be nice, though I can live without -blackout timeframe should be able to be set by the hour, not by "morning," and "night" etc.
Seeing as how the last update was close to a year ago, doubt we`ll be seeing any updates soon ????
