This is terrible it tells you when it updated last in minutes or hours but its never close Better off to stick to the old way listen to weather man this is a joke its never near being right Good idea bad app Bad app
Im hoping this app is being actively developed because it seems to be changing all the time At first it gave no data then occasional data then bad data now its hard to trust Ill up the stars if it continues to change for the better Disappointed
Good App I had the same issues with updating to the new version But after contacting support they got right on it and solved the issue No issues since then Would have giving a 5 star rating had I not had any issues Weather enthusiast
This app allows me to track rainfall information without the need to navigate though websites or enter a bunch data Plus it allows me to check rainfall information wherever I am without the need to supply any location data Simply uses the GPS to find my location Works well on both my iPhone 5 and iPad mini Love it Great Weather Utility

App requires your location at all times If you remove that permission it wont even open The bookmark feature doesnt work at all The app states you can enter in a location instead of using GPS which is a lie The bookmark feature does not work Period The app does not scale properly to the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus Emails to developer have gone unanswered Dont waste your money on this garbage Useless

App works great but is very slow to load Bookmarks are also very slow to load I wish the app would allow it to open to a default location vs random local address Works but is Slow
After spending an hour with it still have no Idea how to get it to change location and give info Map freezes address inputs dont work Cant make it work
Well I wanted to check this app again after the rain stopped I have over an inch in my physical rain gauge and this app finally showed I had rain but it shows only 39 of an inch Unhappy
I purchased this app because the features listed in the description were what I was looking for Nice features and it would be a nice app if you could get it to open and actually work more than one out of every ten tries So far NOT RELIABLE Needs a lot of work NICE SUGGESTED FEATURES
Extremely bandwidth hungry app With Verizon 3G two bars the app server consistently times out when downloading data Need LTE or WiFi to connect then takes at least 20 seconds to get data each time it is restarted or for new location App does not give snowfall data It is not worth paying for Rain gauge
It shows negative rainfall amounts in several areas and does not have data for all cities Needs bug fixes
Great looking interface App responded immediately upon restart after giving the app the necessary information to operate Processing the information gathered by the app took but a seconds Exactly compares with my manual rain gauges Ive recommended to friends and they too seem well satisfied Nice Idea executed well
Worst 2 ever spent the app doesnt work 9 out of ten attempts Im in California and when I try to type in a new address in the locator as it defaults to miles away it put me in Arkansas and I cant get rid of it Refreshed the app more than once still not workinghuge waste if time There is a constant error message to try again later when I have a better connection but my connection is finethis is bandwidth hungry and slowno app support or I would try to get my two bucks back I once got it to work on 4G but never again The format is nice when it does workbut Ive tried several frustrating attempts over a two week period and its worked only twice out of 20 or more attempts during that span of time Nice idea terrible execution
Like the other reviewers I too am seeing negative rain amounts Rained all day to the tune of about 4 of rain but according to this app we got 2 Negative rainfall amounts in the Pacific NW of all places
This was great app rainfall total for areas etc Now with recent app update registration config app keeps looping back to thanks for registering please reopen from home screen error message When you do process repeats itself and you are locked into dead end screen Cmon guys get this fixed this app was fine as it was whats with latest glitch Was a true fan now Waiting for redop Was Great what happened
Nice idea but its got a few problems They should add a search location feature and make the choose location map easier to use Needs some bug fixing

Very unhappy I have actual rain gauge but wanted totals on other properties so purchased the app however my gauge shows 1 210 of in in last 24 hrs and the apps showing 5 in My suggestion is display accurate totals and then app might be worth the 99 cents K Lee Unhappy
This app is just what I wanted so I ignored the low ratings and gave it a try Works fine for my current location When I try to enter another address it ignores the address I give and goes to Alaska every time Was hoping to check rainfall at some other property we own about 200 miles away Please fix the bugs on this app Ok for current location
This app shows a 24 hour block but it does not exist on the app I only bought it to see the previous 24 hour amounts and it is not available even though the app at the app store shows ot is Rip off STAY AWAY
Bought this app to have accurate rain data The app gave me zero rainfall for the previous day when I know I had and inch in my outdoor gauge Slow and inaccurate
I live in an area of 200000 people and the app says they have no data available Dont get this app Its worthless Why did Apple even allow this crap in their App Store I have no problems getting other weather info on my iPad Apple please remove this app from your store A total waste
Like this app it allows me to keep up with the rainfall at my address Even though sometime it takes the data 24 hours to show up Its still better than trying to keep up with my own rain gauge in the yard Good data Good app
As a weather bug I find this app to be very useful Cool app
It was fairly ok till the last update I dont think a lot of the programmers test after an update Now I cant get past the request to register even if I do register It never goes any further I reset several times still nothing Its exactly what I been looking for if it would only work Worthless as is Months later it never loads correctly and tells me it is because the connection to my server is taking too long Still the info I now get is zero I let it go for a month thinking maybe other complainers would get it fixed Never happened If you do not have a super fast connection I doubt this will work at all Good idea for an app though if somebody could get it together Still months later wont load at all Obviously these comments are ignored Zorbaka12
What a waste of my money this app will not even opentells me to try again later every time I try and open it Its my own fault I should of read the reviews before buyingI want my money back this is useless if you cant open it When will you fix this app what a rip off App wont work
Was a definite five star app in its previous version I am a storm spotter and frequently interact with the National Weather Service This new version is by far less userfriendly Before all one had to do was enter the city and state to receive rainfall amounts One could also get more specific data by entering an address Greatest thing since sliced breadthen Now one must use either geocoordinates or list a specific address within a city Alas no matter what info I enter I am given data for some location in AK Utterly useless at this point In fact Im trying to find a resource that comes close to being as good as the previous version New version is the kiss of death for this app A falling star
I like the idea of this app Graphics are simple and clear The rain gauge is a great graphic The history info is really nice Just what I wanted Unfortunately this is not quite ready for a lot of stars in my mind It needs to be faster Data downloads take many seconds The real time radar graphic appears to be a couple of hours behind real time Finally I have only been able to bookmark three locations I would like at least ten and maybe more Nice idea improvements needed
I love that I can see yesterdays precipitation the average precipitation in a normal year last years precipitation and the year to date precipitation This is very powerful I wish it would incorporate ET rates and it would be a very powerful irrigation decision tool Love the amount of details
I have a home rain gauge but thought this app would be helpful in getting cumulative amounts When I first installed it it gave me a negative 2 inches my rain gauge showed almost 212 it rained all night I emailed support and they said it updates every 2 hours Sure enough two hours later it said 77 my rain gauge showed 3 Its now several very wet hours later and the app still shows 77 in the real world we now have flood warnings It says its at my address but wherever its measuring it isnt here Way off
Super simple to use plenty of data very cool interface The second version is a complete upgrade with added features like map search and bookmarking Easy all around
Update Zero rain for yesterday reported at 6AM PST When I next checked at 9PM a more reasonable amount of 046 was reported Dont know when 046 actually got posted though First Comment Reporting zero rain despite our recent storm Slow to Update and Slow to Load the Data
I never write reviews but I had to for this purchase 1 It wont give you current data Only Yesterday or before that 2 The Data Locator is taking me all over my town EXCEPT for where Im located 3 Yesterday we got clobbered with rain which is why I bought the App We got 183 inches officially in my town We canceled a minor league baseball game after two hours of heavy rain This App said we got 003 inches Sorry Relying upon bad information and passing it along as good data doesnt work for me Im deleting this App Worst App Ive Ever Bought

Just bought this despite the bad reviews about negative precip amounts and sure enough In Breckenridge where they got 9 of snow overnight this app says 055 was observed Bad data

Theres a registration process that doesnt work It keeps telling me to reopen the app from my home screen and thats as far as I get Noticed the same complaint in a review from 2013 Save your money Cant get past registration

I would give it zero stars if I could It asks for my name and email address to register my device then goes to a screen that says my device has been registered and I need to restart the app to use it When I restart is goes right back to that screen and will not start the app Deleting This App Doesnt Work
The old version worked great A little slow you could get the info Now when I put in an address other than where I currently am it sends me to Arkansas I hope this gets fixed soontoo good of an app to let it go Old version was better
