Rage of Bahamut 1.4
FREE ANIME-STYLED TRADING CARD GAME
This game has a pretty nice mix of Trading Card Battle and Social Gaming. You trade and evolve cards to succeed in battle. You can start an order (Guild) or join one to team up in events and receive exclusive cards. Bulding up your order with money and item donations increases your card`s strength even further and enlarges your order. I`ve founded one and after a couple of weeks in it I had over 30 members and each of us gets +5% ATK/DEF on each of his/her cards. The more the team supports each other the stronger the cards of each one grows.
Best thing about this game is that it`s free. It`s financed wholely by the card booster packs you can buy to get rare cards faster. According to it`s developer page the game has over one million users so they can probably afford keeping all the content in the game free with only commecial card packs ;) Also you`ll receive 1 - 5 random cards for FREE per day. Rarity is random, so you can theoretically get any card in the game without paying money and play as long as you wish.
My one regret is that I didn`t have a referral code when I first started this game and I missed out on the rare card and rupies (in-game money offered for using a code.) At the end of the tutorial, it will ask you to enter a referral code, if you have one. If you do, you and the person who`s code you entered, will both receive a free Rare card (Devine Judgement) and 50,000 rupies. This is way helpful, especially when you are first starting out. I of course didn`t have a code and so I struggled for a little while until I was able to catch up with everyone else. Here is my code: nhu03969. If you have found this review helpful, please use it and we`ll both get that great reward.
Last big plus of this game: The community! Generally, is full of very fair people, even giving new order members rare cards for free, if you show some interest in the game. Just awesome! Enjoy!
Not what I was expecting - It is much better!
I found this game while sitting in my hotel room on a business trip. I was tired of all my other apps and games and was looking for something new. I have never played a game like this before, and honestly always thought that games like this were kind of nerdy and lame. But I was bored and the review I read made it sound interesting. Now I`m hooked! The rest of my meetings and seminars on that trip flew by because of this game.
Basically, this game is a card battle game. You have 3 realms, [God, Demon or Man]. You can build your deck with cards from any of the realms, but you get extra bonuses for using cards from your own realm. There is a lot of different things in this game that can occupy your attention. There are quests to do where you go find treasure and obtain rare cards for finding all the treasure in a particular series. You can build a deck of cards and go battle other live players around the world. The game keeps track of your win/loss ratio and you can win in-game prizes for doing well. You can join orders (kind of like guilds) and compete with your order against other orders in events put on by the game developers every couple of weeks. In my opinion, these events are the best part about this game. You compete with your order members for new and rare cards during each event. Everyone gets prizes for competing in these events, but the better your order does, the better your prizes will be. You also win prizes for your own individual efforts in each of these events. You don`t need to spend any money in this game to do well. But if you are willing to spend money, you can build a good deck more quickly. I myself haven`t spent any money and have done just fine. Anyway, I would recommend this game. It is a lot of fun! Definitely my favorite app/game at the moment. I have even been playing this game lately instead of Battlefield 3 on my xbox 360 <rolls eyes>.
If you’ve found this review helpful at all, please use my referral code: vuo29144 when it asks for it after you complete your tutorial in the game. We’ll both get 50,000 in-game rupies (In-game money) and a free Rare Card, which will be way helpful...especially early on. Enjoy! And please rate of my review as being helpful!
Addicting!! The Holy Wars just ended! Join fast for the next one.
I`ve been playing this game for a couple of months now and it`s amazing how much I log in to play. It`s something I can play for a few minutes during my commute to work. Or if I really have some time during a long class or seminar, this game really helps the time to pass quickly!
Also when you finish the tutorial, you can supply a referral code to get 50k rupies (a lot of in game cash to start) and a free rare card, Divine Judge [Rare]. This will give you an edge over everyone starting out. Consider using my code (qdl50696) to help us both out, as I`ll also get a free rare and 50k rupies.
It`s fun and addictive to search for different cards to collect and then upgrade by evolving them. Perhaps one downside is that it`s hard to get higher level rare cards, without resorting to purchasing card packs in the game. You can enjoy the game without resorting to that, though.
The developers also do a decent job of creating extra quests and activities such as holy wars with ultra rare cards as rewards for ranking highly. Enjoy!
