This update is visually fantastic I think things are easier to find once you figure out the new layout Ive recommended this product to all of my friends and several have purchased Keep up the good work                 Great Update

I live in California where water is limited We have over an acre with 13 zones and this little controller is amazing It gets the weather and adjust my watering when needed and shows me a history of the water Ive saved the past few months Easy to install and I couldnt be happier                 Smarts for my sprinklers

This is a pretty good unit but it definitely needs a lot of tweaking FirstIf you have drip lines and you want them to run over three hours you cant there is a maximum time per zone youre allowed I keep getting notifications my watering is being skipped because of rain and its sunny out and I using the correct geographic location I Find the app just not as userfriendly as Id like it Not a big fan as of now They Should incorporate wireless moisture sensors into the ground and then it would really be neat to just run based on the soil really needing wAtering not guessing        Read this first for real info

Solid app with fantastic support As good if not better support than any tech product I have ever used The web app has a few features that are not available on the IOS app but I suspect this will be corrected in upcoming versions Great product that will only get better                 Great App with Unparalleled Support

Its not the most user friendly app but the system appears to work well           App is ok

Just replaced our klunky Rainbird controller with this device Took 30 minutes only because I had to spend half that time tracking down my network key Once it connected I had programmed in three watering schedules and was able to run a few manual zones while I sat watching TV I am amazed at how simple this device is to set up The iPhone device of the lawn and garden world                 Awesome

Would love to be able to toggle my Iro on and off with my apple watch              No watch support

Why dont any irrigation professionals know about this I installed it last summer and it works flawlessly easily amazingly Leaps and bounds over our old irrigation controller It monitors the weather for me without needing a rain sensor You can fine tune each zone according to sprinkler heads and area of yard and conditions I can control the system manually quickly and easily or just set it and forget it and it does it for me Get this product if you have an irrigation system Easy to install the controller too                 Outstanding

I am traveling abroad with spotty wifi and 3G connection The Rachio behaved very well for weeks before we left using the older version of the app but the last time the watering happened as scheduled was the 27th Since then the history has shown incomplete zone watering 24 zones in the history 14 zones on the home page The time of last watering on the home page does not match up with the times on the history page The history page shows that watering was skipped due to 00 precipitation but our threshold is set at 025 When I tried to water all zones manually from abroad it looked like it didnt finish the manual screen showed that it nearly finished hours later and I only set it to run 15 x 4 zones The history page showed only one zone watered for 15 minutes I am now afraid that our landscape is completely dried up or the sprinklers havent stopped running I hope its just a matter of the app update not picking up a complete and accurate history I am very concerned that this new app was not tested properly prior to release     Loved it before the new version

The old app was okay and fairly intuitive The new update mimics an overwrought weather site and obscures basic functionality I have never seen an app make such enormous changes in one fell swoop and in this case theyve earned my first ever zerostar review if I could Clearly designed by committee     New version is a huge step backward

New flex scheduling is working great Ive just set it and let it go Ive only had to make a minor adjustment to allow for a little more watering in a couple areas Rachio continues to interact with their users and use their feedback when making decisions                 Working great

I just started using The Rachio Iro in a 13zone setting a few weeks ago and have been using it often with new sod I love the UI updates To have this much thought go into a release shows that the folks at Rachio HQ are really working hard Nice work                 Nearperfect app just got better

What a great tool The newest version is awesome You tell it about your zones plant type soil type shade slope with onscreen help while doingthat and it takes it from there It uses local weather data to determine precipitation and evaporation rates and apply the right amount of water only when needed The webpage interface shows detailed graph view of the moisture level for each zone along with a table showing the underlying math Overall an excellent 250 purchase for us                 Awesome

Please consider adding apple watch support to easily start each zone together or separately Thank you                 Love the app apple watch support requested

This product is simply amazing Like others have said its the Nest of irrigation Unfortunately they completely revamped the app and in my opinion also ruined what was once a perfect interface Please bring it back     Please bring back the old interface

I love this technology and the latest update has a great interface Ive been in the landscape business for 25 years and appreciate the simplicity and functionality I would recommend a larger box for the 16 zone clock to allow for the wire bundle I would also love to see larger capacity options for commercial use Hopefully you have that in the works Great job guys                 Austin TX

Installed the unit yesterday and it was pretty simple and easy Was neat to set up all the watering zones in the app The app definitely needs an update for iPhone 6 as its still in zoom mode              Nice hardware and app

This is a stunningly simple product that in my experience worked perfectly I replaced an old Irritrol controller to control nine sprinkler valves on our commercial office building Im not an electrician in fact Im not even a handyman but I set it up in about 30 minutes and it has worked flawlessly since then I purchased a exterior enclosure and later contacted support to return it because I decided to place the controller inside the building and so did not need the exterior enclosure My emails to support were responded to within no more than eight hours and if I didnt respond they contacted me again This is one of my best experiences with a consumer product                 Outstanding product and app

Ive had my Iro for a bit over half a year now and am really pleased Its made a noticeable difference in my yard while keeping my water usage reasonable My only disappointment is that they didnt adopt Size Classes in the 20 app so that it adapts to my iPad              Very pleased

Update is unreliable and changed my watering times which could get me fined in my community Reconfiguring is confusing and not userfriendly Id would like to go back to the original app The system was excellent before not now        Bad update

Guys one of the reasons I loved the app before is because it was simple to use and understand It just got real complicated with the latest update I have no idea how to start a zone now on demand if I need to water off schedule Is there a way to do that in the update This might have seemed good in planning but the update seems way too complicated now        Update is too complex

I have been using Rachil for about two years now The money that I have saved has paid for the system in just a few months                 Great app great system

The soil moisture display is a great feature I like that its in the iOS app now instead of checking the web app Keep up the innovation I cant wait to see what you guys come up with next                 Just keeps getting better

I really liked the recent update and how they show when each zone was going to get watered next I did not realize that I had missed a zone recently so it helped me catch that error The flex schedule looks interesting but its unclear how it really works and if I can modify it to fit into the water restriction limitations for my county Overall great update                 Great update

Rachio is on of those rare products that lives up to the expectations Set it up in 5 minutes Programmed it in less than 5 Total install time 10 minutes Love this product                 Awesome and Extremely easy to setup

Installation was simple and setup was actually enjoyable I love this device it predicts weather rather than reacting too late Its already predicted rain twice in less than 10 days and aced me thousands of gallons of water The app is easy to use and the data is super useful I havent loved a device like this since installing my Nest Thermostat Im a fanboy for this technology cant wait for 20 and to see what else this company has in store for us                 Great Device

I installed this today and it connected to the Rachio right away and worked perfectly during the setup and my testing Im excited to have a Nestlike interface for controlling my sprinklers and having them hooked into the weather forecasts automatically                 So far so good

Simply cool In my case the biggest issue was losing stickers on two zone wires and mixing them by mistake A wire swap fixed that Software works great hardware works great I had more work I had to do with Nest than Rachio Frankly somewhat anticlimactic but meeting all my expectations I slightly miss the test mode from my old manual controller which ran each zone for X minutes This was resolved with a manual schedule at X minutes for each zone and then disabling the schedule but still have the ability to run it at will Awesome product                 Love the product

Between power outages form nasty weather and changing town watering schedules at our family vacation home in FL our old sprinkler controller was always be off track After we were fined by the town for not watering on the correct day I searched for a solution and found Rachio Installation was easy and took me about an hour to swap out the controller and connect it to my wireless network Now that we have the Rachio I can control our watering schedule monitor usage or manually turn on the system for the sprinkler maintenance guy when he comes all from another state and only using my iPhone I especially love how based on rain predictions in the area you can set it to automatically skip the watering schedule for that day Thanks Rachio for making a great product                 Excellent Product

Hello Love the app One request would be to add the ability to manually run a zone from the MY YARD photo layout I have 17 zones and using the pictures to identify the zone is easier than the small text description After clicking the picture of the zone and you get to zone details there should be a manual run time option Thx                 Additional Function

The device functions erratically takes weather data and stops watering your lawn when no rain falls on your place I spend more time watering manually than with the old bird controller Now it stopped watering zone 1 and the app does not let me change the schedule The update made things far more complicated and some functions dont work Terriblewish I could return it     Perfect to kill your grass

I never write reviews but after buying this unit and installing myself I had to Amazing product and so easy to install amazing Im not that handy and it was easy installed fired it up and setup zones in minutes Absolutely great product Thank you                 Such an easy install
