Thanks for removing the ads and restoring functionality I use this app daily once more                 Former Glory Restored

When an app is either marvelously amazing to the point of awe OR aweinspiring by how amazingly bad it is I find myself compelled to comment I have lived and breathed this app as a way to prolong time between charges Now I cant even use it Their update broke it so thoroughly I have to wonder if it was an alpha release Things that never leave the lab and that even beta testers wont touchwith good reason Im moving to Brightness by Green Gar Bye     I rarely leave a review but

I wish I had read the reviews before upgrading This app went from most used to garbage overnight Broken useless and ad infested Find something else     RIP

This onceperfect oncesimple app had been destroyed It cant even be USED at all without being CLOBBERED with multiple ads and no longer just does its job and exits I hope the original developer at least got his buyout money up front because this new version is doomed PREVIOUS REVIEW Exactly what I needed So helpful that I put it in thumb position 1 on my homescreen     Ruined by new developer ADS GALORE

Awful You can pull up the control panel with a flick of your thumb why would you need an app that does the same exact thing I thought it actually dimmed and brightened the screen beyond what the iOS system controls allowed No Its no different Worse it crashes when I try to adjust the sliders then fails to open at all Delete     Doesnt do anything

Dont upload this app The new update added ads so it makes it so burdensome to adjust the brightness now that it makes the app totally useless now It went from being my most used app to the last one that i just deleted from my phone Sad     Updated thus DESTROYED

Cant go low enough Developers please talk to Apple and get the ability to lower brightness to zero Otherwise there is no use for this app as the quick upward swipe is faster in iOS 7     iPhone is too bright this app wont help

Yes they fixed it after the outcry And I just reinstalled it I did learn however I am never updating any more apps until LONGER after the update is released                 It working again

Update Saved I uninstalled the bad version and installed the previous version from my iPad backup on my pc Whew thank God Update if you update you will get two stupid games thrown in your face you have to close every time then a stupid slider switch you manually have to slide Previous review I used this app before but it did not work perfectly but I used it anyway then I upgraded to IO6 and it did not work at all I upgraded to the new version and it now works better than ever No issues with it not remembering settings after being locked Fast response from app support              a great app DESTROYED

What was one of the most functional apps on my phone new management has ruined wupdate for IOS7 its all adds for Candy Crush etc X out and another one pops up Clearly somethings wrong Im surprised iTunes is not pulling it off the market It cant be good for our phones its like malware     Horrible update all adds

After the update you have to get through all the pop up ads just to dim Also settings are disabled Good bye Another corporate sell out     Worthless

As so many other reviewers have noted the developer of this app has completely ruined it What had been a simple useful utility is now just an ad delivery system for idiotic games Controls are completely obscured by nearlyfullscreen game ads that have to be manually closed Absolutely under no circumstances reward the developer by clicking on the intrusive ads If you have not updated yet then dont If you have updated there is another app that gives you the functionality of Quick Brightness back Its called BrightSwitch and it behaves like the old Quick Brightness Download BrightSwitch delete Quick Brightness and avoid any apps by Slick Lizard Games or Kyle Van Dyn Hoven untilunless Quick Brightness is repaired with intrusive ads removed     Ruined But There Is An Alternative BrightSwitch

This app is great until you put your phone into sleep mode The moment the phone wakes up it goes into the lowest settings mode regardless what mode you had it set to If I have it set to high then when I wake up the phone I expect it to go back to high No reason to have different modes if the high mode is temporary There are minor issues too There should be a medium setting not just a high and low setting And there should be a way to completely override system settings permanently not just temporarily Another useful feature would allow us to have a badge that tells us the current level if brightness But to me the major issue needs fixed to be useful to me The device needs to wake up at the same level of brightness that I had it set to before it went to sleep Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because if you want just temp brightness or you never put your phone to sleep it has its usefulness        One Major Issue Some Smaller Ones

Ditto the other recent one star reviews Not one major ad but two in a row before you can adjust settings And before the upgrade you could just click icon and it instantly adjusted brightness     Dont download Dont upgrade They sold out

At least for this version it is no longer useful I used it for one main purpose If I was outside and my phone had been dimmed I had the launch where I knew where it was to brighten it And if I turned it on at night and it was too bright I could quickly dim it Now I cant do either You now get 2 ads I notice the name has changed and its now called the lite version which implies some purchase requirement is coming to get the old function back With iOS 7 it is a lot easier to get to the brightness control so I was already using the app less than before but it is now uninstalled     I am in agreement with negative reviews

iOS 7 introduced the Control Center which makes this app no more convenient than a quick upward swipe to adjust the brightness Its still relevant for those running older versions of iOS although for myself having to find the app in the ever rearranging dock is no faster than going through Settings to change the brighness           iOS 7 made this less relevant

This app was great before it was taken over by a new company Now all you get are pop ups Do not waste your time downloading it now its useless     Just deleted itdo not download

It worked at first then started throwing ads up that blocked the done button at the bottom os the screen The toggle and exit feature was great while it worked I hope some other app designer will incorporate it because I just deleted this app     Sad Face

Let me add to the pile on of bad reviews this app was simple and functional latest update introduces ads which actually get in the way of the usefulness There are plenty of other options for this in the app store search elsewhere     Former great app killed by ads

App works great on IOS up through version 8 but DOES NOT work on IOS 9 They need update their software for it to work on IOS 9 Ill be deleting it until they update their software for of to work     IOS 9

So disappointing I used the old version daily Now I have deleted the update Ill have to search for another app that does what QBright used to do     Good once not anymore

Was good at first but terrible with new ownership socalled upgrade which added a minimum of 3 ads every time you use it It also simply does not work as described after you have toggled the brightness once it defaults to opening in full brightness every time you turn on your device the toggle fails I am deleting it     DO NOT BUY OR DOWNLOAD

REVIEW App works fine Just dont use it in the fancy configuration COMMENTS Two very similar apps similar icons too have this problem In the potentially handiest app setting if iPhone turns off when the screen comes back on the brightness returned to the Low setting Then you Always have to activate the High brightness setting Every time RECOMMENDATION Of the 3 operating modes just dont choose Switch Screen Brightness and Exit and app will do an adequate job Youll have to do 1tap to get the brightness control instead of no 0 taps I deleted the app and reinstalled it and use it in the perfectly handy Disabled mode where you can manually do a tap brightness change even the apps controls screen layout seems exactly the same           Just accept one limitation

Ive had this app for about a year now and I removed it today It doesnt even work the way it used to And with all the ads its difficult to adjust the brightness without accidentally tapping an ad     Deleted

This app is a great way to quickly toggle between 2 levels of brightness and it is slightly faster than iOS 7s brightness interface A handy utility for instadimming your device temporarily I keep this gem on my home screen                 My Home Screen App
