It reads 25 words then stops demanding that you purchase it Without a more fair assessment of the usefulness of the app Im left with a very negative view I would rather use nothing than this app TERRIBLE
The voice is ok but there are a lot of bugs Even if you set it to turn pages for you when the end of a page is reached you still have to turn the page manually which ruins its use as a hands free tool It does not allow you to start reading at any point on a page besides the top so for every page of an article it will read from the header through to the page number It does not retain where it left off reading so if you close out of the app it starts from the beginning as a previous reviewer wrote the pronunciations for some common words are terrible like interference and conference let alone more jargony words It also translates acronyms inappropriately for example in one article EST was written in reference to a type of therapy and the program automatically said Eastern Standard Time This app is very frustrating overall Too many bugs
The reader mispronounces something fierce and the annoying upgrade pops up every 3 seconds Literally That means Im still looking for a decent PDF aloud reader Technical Issues
