I have this app and iCam for the money Id choose iCam This app lags by minutes 510 at timesiCam lags by maybe 2 seconds the closest to realtime Ive found This app also needs playback controlspause rewind fast forward neither the app or desktop server have it The video quality is great and actual recording playback quality is great But not worth the price compared to iCam Sorry Fix the lag and add playback controls and it would be        Not worth the money yet

It really works I am a natural skeptic so naturally I expected the worst Needless to say I was proven wrong Procam Plus is a must I am also not very computer savy I only know the basics so when I had trouble connecting they were extremely patient kind helpful I will surely recommend this app to everyone                 OMG

This app has a lot of promise of being a great app but the lag time is about 5 minutes and that is unacceptable Very easy to connect and great support but fix your server        Needs some work

This App worked great on my new iPhone 4 Customer support is top notch with almost instant responses Picture quality is great the App loads fast and its amazingly fast on WIFI almost real time but a little slower on 3G to be expected where the delay depends on the connection but around 35 seconds max The setup process is straight forward I love the desktop software I am partial to MACs so I installed the MAC server software and works great on both my MAC Mini and my Macbook built in camera so now I have 2 cameras working liveI love it Updated Review February 2nd 2011 I now have 3 cameras on 3 different systems setup and the app works great on my iMac Macbook and Windows 7 machines great work guys and umm thank you for all your help The support is AWESOME                 Brilliant and awesome app

While slightly on the steep side of pricing I have to admit that you get what you pay for compared to other similiar apps While there are many free and less then 5 webcam apps out there they all are either a woefully hard app to set up with making users access routers and make adjustments downloading software to set up dynamic servers terrible GUIs and pixelated webcam imagesThis App is not a part of these problems ProCamPlus is a fairly easy to set up app on both your computer and the iPhone You will have to install free software to your desktop that is both so simple that it is scary and the iPhone setup is similiar The setup instructions are pretty straight forward and to the point although there may be a few issues any user can work out The main part is that when you set up your iPhone you need to enter the internal IP given from the installed desktop application and enter the external IP from the website that you downloaded your software from This is not clear in the instructions Then enter the listen port identified in your desktop application and set up a good strong password which accepts all characters a plus The app and desktop GUIs are simple and very easy to use Very clean and attractive with the retina display on the iPhone Works over 3G and WiFi and with the adjustable framerate all the way up to 30fps provides a very clear unpixelated image There is slight time lag between the transfer but not the jerky robotic lag that you see in other apps Lastly the customer support is EXCEPTIONAL I sent two emails on a Saturday with observations questions and feedback and both emails were replied to in the SAME DAY Emails were courteous provided links to answer questions and all replies were easy to understand and technical jargon left at the office Lastly todays computers are always set to auto update security and software patches which cause the computer to reboot and effectively shuts down the majority of like apps making them useless when you are at work or on vacation AGAIN this app does not fall into this pitfall Fully tested multiple times this app restarts with your computer and will never leave you wondering what is going on when you are not home The app does so much more but that is already covered in the description The ONLY two downfalls are the price as already mentioned and to me not a big issue but will be for others in todays economic situation and as I stated you truly do get what you pay for when you compare apps and I have tried at least 6all paid The last downfall is the missing Pan and Tilt controls that should be included with an app of this price 90 of all webcams are now controllable with pan and tilt functions and an app that controls these is essential and should be required This functionality is missing from this app and I addressed the lack of functionality in both emails and I have been assured that this functionality is coming to the app for free but will not be available for a few months while they build it right and test it I truly believe that it will be a highly functional tool when all said and done Even with these two pitfalls there is nothing that I can do or say that would deserve less than a 5 star rating I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app for webcam viewers that use them for security pet monitors or other purposes I would like to commend the team for an exceptional product and quality reliable customer service I look forward to future updates and functionality WELL DONE                 You get what you pay for

I own the iPad version and it rocks I just got the iPhone version here and its equally amazing I can actually access 3 of my webcams from anywhere I was at the lake a few days ago and I was looking at all my webcams on 3 DIFFERENT COMPUTERS and the cool part is that I can see them from either my iPhone or from my iPad or both I especially love the live record feature and how it saves the live feed not on my device but on the computers themselves but I can reply them from anywhere Im sorry if I seems too excited but this is what makes a smart phone a smart phone This App gets 5 stars from me and it is highly recommended                 You have to get this APP 5 STARS

Prior to downloading the app I contacted the support team with a question About 90 minutes later I get a response After installing this tiny app on my i4 and then proceeded to install the client app on my MacBookPro I was up and streaming video in less than 10 minutes tops Currently I only have the ability to use one camera but Im anxious to try more Revised 2211 I need to revise my rating to 1 star today The iPhone app rocks but unfortunately Ive discovered a huge memory leak in the MacCam Server app It takes anywhere from 15 20 minutes of streaming from the server to notice the leak During one of my server crashes I noticed that as much as 2GB of memory was being consumed This can be confirmed by using Activity Monitor When you leak enough memory the server app crashes and the video to the phone will then appear frozen Ive documented this several times and reported this to the developers Im optimistic that it will get fixed one day The Windows camera server doesnt seem to have this memory leak issue but I have noticed a 3 second delay in the video from the server to the phone Anyone else out there see the MacServer crash or hang after 20 minutes of streaming     This app rocks but the MacCameraServer app leaks memory crashes

It doesnt work on my iPhone 4 all I got was a screenshot from the cam and a bouncing icon in my dock on my iMac I dont like that I would rather have a menu bar icon once updated I may raise my review           Not impressed

The price tag almost drove me away however after reading the reviews I decided to get the app Im a biz owner and Im on the go alot I did have trouble downloading the computer software but its only because there wasnt any kind of Status on the download and it didnt tell me it was downloading But once it was downloaded onto my computer within 3 minutes I had my laptop cam streaming to my iPhone Great App and VERY easy setup A Must Have App                 Awesome App

This app is ok I didnt like the fact the it was slow I sat in front of the camera to check the lag time and I found it to be pretty long If you used it as a baby moniter I dont think it is dependable What you see on your phone is about five second or more off        Slow

Could not get this program to work at all with my Corporate Cams Was more successfull just logging direct in through the internet there was NO place to enter the LOGIN ID     IT mgr

Ive been waiting for something like this for a long time Im not techy and appreciate how easy it was to set up I have a daughter that I leave with a nanny when I travel for work I trust the nanny but its still good to know what goes on in the house when Im not home Now I can see this from my iphone no matter where I am What peace of mind I recommend this app to anyone that has to leave their child with a sitter Its awesome Oh and it records onto my computer as well so I can save the video                 New version rocks

Excellent My favorite new App The setup was pretty simple I did not feel like calling The Geek Squad to come and set it up for me and the tech team was available when I had questions I really like having the ability to look in on my kidsespecially when my 13 year old babysits his little sister I can easily check in to make sure all is well during a quick trip to the grocery store There are so many potentially great uses for this appI cant wait to set up another camera to keep tabs on our new adventurous puppy This is my new Peace of Mind App                 Willow RN

I have now had a chance to use this app and it works just as advertised For me over wifi the live image sync was nearly an exact match to real time Maybe a second of lag but hey you arent going to get any better than that As an added note due to some issues with the App Store not the developer I contacted their customer service The were immediate in their response and very helpful If the app continues to works as well as the Customer Service then I know youll enjoy this app                 Great App and Customer Service
