I am a mortgage loan officer i have been looking for an app that accurately shows your estimated pmi payment for a home purchase when you put less than 20 down This app does this well The only thing that needs to be fixed is the property tax payment Property taxes are based on the value of the home If the tax in your area is 2 then your taxes will be 2000 p yr for every 100000 of property value The author of this app must have a decimal off bc To get this calculator to calculate your monthly tax payment correctly if you tax rate is 2 you must enter 20 on the tax line If you put in 2 the app only calculates 200 pyr instead of 2000 As long as you put in 10 times your actual tax rate this should work correctly For ex If your property taxes are 1 use 10 2 use 20 3 use 30 and so on Good for the most part
I love the fact this app easily calculates the PMI for you Only thing missing is the ability to enter the down payment as a fixed amount vs a percentage Calculates the PMI so easy to use
Sorry guys FHA MIP monthly payment is based on the base loan amount Your calculator is calculating the payment based on the loan amount with the up front MIP added which is incorrect Loan Officer
This only had a choice of 30201510 yrs I wanted to figure a loan for 7 years I could not So if you are wanting to figure a loan you want to make to someone you cant do it here Not for a individual loan

Simple quick intuitive but missing one of the things I bought it for calculating the mortgage loan amount especially for an FHA loan with the addedin MIP I need this figure to draft the financing contingency in real estate offers and thought this app would do it for me It would be a simple change to the app as it is obviously calculated but inexplicably not displayed Almost Really Good
