Presence by People Power

Does this app allow users to enable the camera for security purposes but not the microphone I tried three times to do that ending up in a loop where the app seemed to want to force me to enable the microphone and would not let me go not further without that Maybe that was their intention Maybe it is just a clumsy UI I dont know Sorry but Im not going to leave a big security hole open by enabling the microphone unnecessarily A burglar isnt going to be making any noises I want to listen to Given that I couldnt seem to complete the setup I yanked the app off my iPhone        Turning Microphone Off

I have been using this app for a while now and for a free app that has the ability to control another iOS device for viewing and recording was great But of course they updated it and now older devices do not work I have rebooted the iPhone 4 that I use as the camera deleted and reinstalled all to no avail You guys have to fix this its your claim to fame use old devices as a spy camera With this update thats no longer true Come on guys figure it out Make this great again        Update ruined a great app

It used to record for 1 minute now only 5 seconds Other features went away too        Getting worse Why

The upgrade at first was a tad daunting since I was used to the old app Once it all came together and after upgrading all devices cameras and monitors it worked even better than before Great job Love the app and love the new interface                 Great app

Presence just keeps getting better and better I love the new enhanced rules and alerts and discovered that I left my back door open before I was about to go away for the day UI is crisper and cleaner Still cant believe this app is free                 Great security app

Ive been using Presence for the past few weeks to catch someone who had been leaving his dog poop in our front yard Weve been frustrated for several months trying to figure out who was being an irresponsible dog owner and thankfully we caught the guy using this app I think its awesome that Im able to control the settings from my main iPhone Sometimes our WiFi goes out and I forget to reset it but for the most part fairly painless and I forget its there Highly recommend                 Love this app

This was a great app until the last update Now the camera will not stay connected and the app closes on its own Not able to reconnect until I get back home and open the app in the camera and reconnect again     After Update

This used to be great it no longer works with the update all I get is blue screens does not work Stay with the old version Ipad mini and 4s dont work They ruined a good thing The interface is no good old one was simple Deleted the app reloaded didnt work deleted for good Im guessing that the app drained my battery my phone shut down halfway though the day yesterday after only using it for 1 call and two texts been that way since the new update Too bad it used to work well     Update ruined it

I have been using Presence as for a surveillance monitor for about a year now with 401 it has support for many more devices It has always worked well New fabulous features keep coming one after another Very easy way to install sensors and energy meter readers like my Blue Line that before this was very very difficult It now allows me to set rules to activate and deactivate things automatically And the videos are longer than ever I use one of the robots that they support so I can rotate my camera 390 degrees horizontally and vertically I can even post my recordings automatically to Twitter How cool is that                 This is a great App

Ever since the update my cameras WILL NOT stay connected I am very upset about this as I am a paying member on a per month basis and I am not getting what Im paying for     Terrible since update

Not so great App keeps crashing Not very helpful if it crashes constantly is it     Should be called Crashence

Most of the time works well but it often cuts off I use the dedicated camera option and it cuts off often and it is almost never restored automatically My wifi signal is excellent yet cameras often get disconnected Good to use as a toy but not for security        Nice toy But not for security

This app is absolutely perfect for keeping an eye on my sick pets I can keep a record of how often they get up how much they eatI can even open a facetime call and whistle to remind them its time to have their meal So amazing I have not upgraded to Pro yet but I think I will soon                 Just what I needed

Ive been using the free version of this app to monitor my dogs while we are away Very satisfied                 Great app

Older version ran fine on my old iPhone 4S as the remote camera Current version draws so much power that the battery drains even while plugged in nothing running in background and cell radio turned off     Current version has too many problems

I was using this app for months and it worked great Now after a recent update it never ever works My iPhone 4s that is used as a camera is completely useless I can never connect to the camera The few times I have been able to it cuts out in a few seconds Ive tried everything to fix this With the way the app is Currently I would absolutely not recommend it much less paying for the additional features Its useless unfortunate that prescence has not done anything to fix the issues     What happened

This app is fantastic I love that I can turn my iPhones and iPads into a security camera Im currently using my iPad 2 as a fulltime security cam since the screen broke and keeps falling off I would give 5 stars but two things keep me from doing that 1 I feel like I have to reset the camera on my iPad 2 more often than I should Its the one we have plugged in hiding somewhere and doesnt get touched Every couple weeks or so even though all notifications are turned off I have to take it down and reopen the app 2 Geofencing would make this app so much better Right now any time I leave the house I have to remember to set it to Away mode With geofencing it could just know that Ive left and set itself My thermostat does that so I would think Presence Pro could as well Otherwise very happy with this app Love the immediate notifications and recording when theres movement Nothing out there like it for free              Need geofencing

Please fix the latest update is failing on 5 different devices that worked fine before update        Update killed a great app

Most of my recordings are nothing but purple static And I was dumb enough to buy the pro versionBIG MISTAKE     Junk

I used the free version for a few years and then one day decided to buy the full version for 499 a month Im not sure what took me so long to buy the full version but Im glad I finally did I use it as a motion detector at my front door and it instantly sends me video to my iPhone I just love it                 Presence is a great thing

This was working great before the last update Now iPhone 4 camera gets disconnected with excellent wifi connection This app is 5 stars when it works Its 1 star now that it doesnt There is no middle ground here folks Fix this now and itll be 5 stars again but until then I hope my 1 star rating will get the attention of the developers     Last Update Broke the App

Im giving it two stars right now It would only be one if I hadnt been using it without many issues prior to the update So I know its capable of much more However after the update all cameras 34 iPhone 4s have been rendered useless Ive rebooted them reset them reset up their wireless and attempted to reconnect them Some simply will not connect to Presence at all while others connect for a little while and by little I mean a few minutes then fall off Since the update has forced me to have to be there to babysit the cameras to make sure they stay connected anyway I dont see much use for the app that is supposed to allow the cameras to babysit the house for you while youre away I actually dislike the new interface as well It seems like it is twice as many clicks to get where you need to be when navigating through things Sorry I liked it before you knowwhen it worked and was easy to get around and all        Was so much better before update

Bad update I hope they get it together on the next one The Kamerstone work consistently anymore     Its prettier but doesnt function anymore

Remote recording was removed and the new interface is sluggish Cant use my 4S as a remote camera anymore it never connects Just deleteddont waste your time with this anymore     Worst Update Ever

This was a decent app Used it often to check on pets while away Now connectivity is sparse More features doesnt always mean a better product Feels cumbersome Ill be looking for something different     Horrible update

I got this app to keep an eye on a puppy while at work on my old iPad Not only does the app work perfectly but you can check battery level of the iPad dim the screen allow other phones to view it and face time the iPad By far the best app in its field                 Great app

App was great until the last update Remote camera disconnects and there is no way to get it back unless you are physically with the camera It was great when I was on vacation and could check it now its rendered practically useless unless I am at home to fix it This happens EVERY day several times a day Dont really need it when Im in the same room with the camera Before the update I would have given 5 stars        Update ruined it

Completely worthless after update iPhone 4 wont connect even after reinstalling rebooting etc my remote viewer says its disconnected even though the iPhone 4 camera days its connected Poorly written software For a much better camera app Try At Home in the iTunes Store After using Presense for over a year I cant at all give it any praise if it does not work     HorribleDo not update

Im sure the developers now know theres an issue but I want to join the chorus of people who loved this app until the latest update Like others my camera disconnects for no reason so the app is useless     Yep update messed it up

Gives you peace of mind knowing the house is monitored and you can actually see whats going on at the house from remote location Nice job                 Great app

After updatin my iPhone 4 to this version is crashes the instant it opens Very frustrating     Fail

Recent update broke it I use iphone 4 and when im trying to stream after a couple of minutes it dropped out and couldnt connect anymore Other phones my iphone 4s seems not affected It show camera ready while processing but couldnt connect        Recent update broke it

Demanding access to use the microphone is unacceptable I get that you have to pay for development somehow but we know what youre doing here        Privacy issues

For the app to work properly your phonecamera cant be locked So if someone notices your phonecamera and they pick it up and they know what Precense is they have FULL access to your Precense account and can delete all of your videos including the one that just captured them Thats a major deal breaker in my book     Major Flaw You Cant Lock Your Sceen

Ive used Presence every day for years to watch my dog while Im at work and in their newest release I can monitor from a web console Ive been wanting that forever Control my lights too with a monster plug Its a great free security product thats always getting better                 Best free motion detector security camera

This app was fine until it was updated I hate the new interface it looks good but is harder to do routine tasks and far slower to respond Worst of all older devices those most likely to be used for this sort of application have been rendered useless with this update iPhone 4 iPad 2 and iPad mini currently do not work Please fix this or roll back to the prior version until this is fixed        Update is a mess

I have set this up in three rooms at my house I love this app It allows me to watch my dog and even talk to my dog I caught her barking at someone and called on and gave her a command and she stopped barking Just as if I were there                 Love this app

We use Presense for our home security However with the latest update the app crashes several times a day Then we have to go to the smart phone and manually start the app It is very unreliable and unstable You should wait until they fix the crashing issue before using this app     Wait for next update

Since update my iPhone for the new version IOS 9 the zoom of the camera dosent work Previously worked perfectly with the old version iOS 6        Auto focus dosent work

Whats good of a remote camera if you have to be there to make it work The app keeps disconnecting Wifi works great but the app just disconnect and never reconnects again     Useless keeps disconnecting
