PAYG is such an incredible app I got into it by accident Sacred Space had a link on their website and being curious I gave it a shot PAYG is run by the Jesuits in Britain and the app is designed to give you audio prayer in accordance with the Ignatian structure Every opening has Catholic Gregorian chant a different reader and deep Ignatian reflection on the readings or subject matter Scripture readings are even recited twice throughout a daily readings segment fulfilling the Jesuit practice of going deeper into the faith Inside the app are a variety of audio segments daily readings the Stations of the Cross the Rosary the Examen and even several 20 minute Ignatian Contemplation segments that use the Spiritual Exercises as a guide I listen whenever I can whether I m on my way to work in the car out and about if I have some time to spare and of course before bed with the Examen If you re Catholic partial to Ignatian spirituality and always on the move then this is the app for you Sending out a huge thanks across the pond to the Jesuits in Britain for putting together such an incredible app Download it now AMDG An Ignatian Powerhouse of Prayer benols

Update Thanks for the recent update This version is much improved in stability The dates are still off by a day but I can at least use it find the proper day Thanks please continue dev Also I found the support links Everyone feel free to contribute to the development of this incredible free tool As a longtime listener to the PAYG podcast Im really excited for this app This version is pretty rough But please continue development so v2 can better reflect the incredible content Id even be willing to pay for the app Anything to help cause it would be totally worth it Please continue Please continue dev
I love the podcasts and was glad when I discovered the app Like other reviewers report it crashes constantly especially when I click on todays prayer Also the meditation for today 102526 would not play at all If bugs get fixed Im sure Id give this 5 stars because the podcasts are worth 5 PLEASE FIX Too many bugs
PAYG is a wonderful resource that has had a great impact on my life Unfortunately technical issues detailed in other reviews prevent this app from being useful I will continue to use the website until the app becomes more functional Great content but app doesnt work
This is a wonderful devotional resource The music readings and contemplative spirit help you relax and let God speak However it has some technical glitches that need to be worked out It is always a day ahead so when I play the days reading it always a day ahead so I have to go back a day which is frustrating Otherwise great app Great combination

I am long time user of the pray as you go daily podcast Excellent combination of music prayer and thoughtful reflection in about 10 minutes Produced the the Jesuits in the UK it uses professional quality audio a rotating mix of readers and reflection guides al with British or Irish accents as well as selection of professional accents The app makes it easier to use and download for travel and save favorites It is am improvement over podcasts as it includes text of reflection for the day and option for additional prayer reflection including Advent Lent and daily Examen Still need to work out a very few bugs such as occasional date sync I would suggest inApp donation for convenience but found I could donate on website I use Pray as You Go first thing every morning and have found it to be a meaningful way to begin the day reflecting on faith and life Best Daily Prayer Reflection I have found

I love the insights and reflections in the try Ignatius way However the recordings would play even if the phone or iPad would go to sleep now I have to keep the phone screen on at all times or it shuts off Makes it difficult when on the go Please fix One star off due to this Good app

Ive used the podcasts from PAYG for years and so I was excited when they came out with this appand even more so when I discovered that it includes the text of the podcasts There have been many problems with the app however It crashesa lot As others have noted it will show the right date but when the content is shown its for the next day More recently the app crashes every single time I click on Todays Prayer I can look at Todays Music without any problem but not the text of the podcast The truth is If any other app were this buggy I would have deleted it after the first weekbut because PAYG is an integral part of my life I continue to try to use it hoping it will get better Love the content find the app frustrating

Ive been waiting for this app for a very long time and Im so glad its out That said its violated the law of least astonishment a number of times on me already Not all the buttonsfeatures work how or mean what you might guess Not even close to getting frustrated and jettisoning it yet though Either Ill get used to it or the next update will fix it or some combination of both The content is WELL worth putting up with a few idiosyncrasies in the app Version 1

A friend introduced me to this app I love the way it allow me to listen and meditate while I drive However it seems that the dates keep switching up on me Also details wont open App crashes since ios8 Refinements would be nice Love the idea
The IOS version on the ATT network just doesnt work I have given it two weeks and finally deleted it Many days wont play And the dates are always one day off Thursdays reading is actually Fridays reading Just doesnt work

Pray as you go is the best daily prayer source in electronic media I have used it for years from the beginning of its broadcast with Jesuit Media The app has only one flaw and that is the date problem Once the correct syncing of days is fixed this review will go to five stars Please everyone support this blessed meditation application Superb app Please fix the date problem soon
Like other reviewers I am overlooking the tech issues because the content outweighs issues that will be worked out over time I appreciate all the time and prayer that is done to produce the thoughtful meditations each day Tech issues My app works but it does crash and does not save my settings Hopeful but buggy
The content is great A bug needs to be fixed however that creates inconsistencies in which lesson goes with which day because that will change as you swipe back and forth between days Excellent
