A very powerful no frills application for organizing your life The layout is very practical and open I use this app for everything from my work projects to my shopping list Whats more I have no technical expertise whatsoever and I am to sync documents contacts and information between my iPad iPhone and laptop without any problem The high price for this app relative to most iPad apps is a good reflection of the high value you get                 a powerful and useful app

I loved this app and the functionality of it during the free 30 day trial HOWEVER after 30 for the app being required to pay ANOTHER 40yr for the syncing that Evernote and other apps do for free I just cant give the app any more of a recommendation It has a lot of potential but without the syncing being a standard I think Ill check out Omnifocus           Good but not Great

I really liked the look of this app and its organization after having looked hard for a good tool for projects Bought the app then realized that there are no exporting options at all other than the 40 per year syncing charge to other devices Ive come to expect some basic level of use of info from apps email opening in other apps printing etc so made some important assumptions that were unfortunate Its pricey to start with but the developer is definitely planning to add further costs on very quickly Very disappointed     App Trap

I picked up this app as a way to organize the massive amounts of documents and information I load onto my Ipad and Iphone Its worked perfectly I love that I can assign different tasks to different people within my organization that also purchased the app I havent had any problems with the app crashing etc I have been very impressed with the product and the price for a tool of this caliber                 Powerful

This app allows me to compartmentalize and structure my life in a way that no other app can It stores all my notes and drawings Ive uploaded my documents and spreadsheets It organizes my tasks by project I can snap photos on my iPhone and file them in my projects It is a fantastic organizational tool                 My backup auxiliary brain

I bought the app and also the hosting package It should have could have been a very useful app however the due dates refuse to sync between devices After two weeks of conversing with tech support by live chat and email and assurances it would be fixed shortly they are now telling me it wont be working until the update at the end of the month This is clearly alpha or beta release software at best Without the due dates syncing it is pretty much useless Too bad too it could have been a great app This is a pretty basic and major flaw Especially for 6995 worth of software purchase I hope Apple vetts its vendors better in the future        Too bad sync doesnt work

UPDATE for Jan 2010 version This app is the biggest and most expensive mistake Ive made since I purchased my iPad If you dont subscribe to the backup service for 40year it wipes out all your data with any product update The rep told me that the 2995 pays just for the software but if you want it to not tank your data with every update and let me tell you updates were sorely needed on this snailslow product you have to pay the 40year subscription service or simply decline every update I bought this app the priciest on my iPad because it seemed to bring together many of the project management tools that I use every day And it does deliver a todo list calendar assignments and notes in a single app with the potential to give me the birdseyeview of my projects that I wanted Unfortunately PowerMe HD is like getting old limited versions of each of these apps For example The todo list is inflexible and awkward You cant change the date of a task to a future month even if that month starts tomorrow without going into the detail screen for the current day You have to manually turn off time assignments for each todo item I didnt expect all the functionality of the glorious 2Do but at this price I at least expected some of the conveniences now common with most todo apps Oh and changing the date only works on the oneinfive times that it doesnt crash when you try to edit the due date You cant organize tags in categories You cant change default views on open Theres no real option for taking handwritten notes as there is in Notes Plus Theoretically you could use the draw function to scribble a phone number or something but since theres no wrist protection forget it As far as I can tell the inapp and online documentation is cute as a button and just as inconsequential theres no way to import file attachments or other documents without going through the paid PowerMe service This is really frustrating once youre used to the ease of use in Readdle Docs or QuickOffice It cant open QuickOffice docs You can only share ONE task at a time via email Who needs to share just one task at a time rather than a list I guess they do this so that everyone on a project team will have to buy the app to collaborate but that works much better in theory than in practice Weve experimented with and abandoned many collaborative mobile and desktop apps that require buyin On the other hand Ive had a number of clients and colleagues buy iThoughts when theyve seen the extensive beautifully formatted notes that I can email from that app To anyone For free In short I was hoping that PowerMe could be command central for my projects Instead its just a place to keep a snapshot You still have to do everything else better somewhere else     A good start but

I have been searching for a week for an application that can help me manage my company and my workload Most task managers are too task oriented Most project management tools are only timebased I manage teams of people key projects company strategy as well as my entire family life When I found this app it was a breath of fresh air I can stay focused on high level projects see documents relevant to my direct reports key projects or team mtgs I can add simple tasks and define when they should get done Ive downloaded dozens of apps and have yet to write a review I believe this app will help to revolutionize the way we work Nice job                 Worth every penny

Thought I would take a moment and provide feedback on PowerMe Im been using the iPad iPhone and web version for several months and have combined all my business strategies and tasks on PowerMe because of the ease of use versatility and the ability to connect with team members on various projects The currently released web based version is doing wonderfully for my projects and tracking more specifically for date and time and color coded priorities Its even a joy to use this The recent enhancements such as controlling the security of timeout of the screen and the color coordination of tasks are brilliant and very useful for me while providing more control I have used many other project management tools such as MS project on the PC and numerous apps on the iPadiPhone PowerMe has proven robust and reliable especially since I can access my projects from multiple PCs or mobile tools I have added so much content that the program has exceeded the memory capacity of my iPhone 3G It worked beautifully until I continued to add more content Its a small inconvenience that should not reflect the app and its easily resolved by upgrading to more capacity iPhones I was going to upgrade soon and now I have a stronger reason to do so Ive also ordered an iPad 2 because of the increased speed and enlarged memory capacity to use with PowerMe Its plenty fast already on my iPad so Im eager to note the speed increase on the iPad 2 There could never be fast enough speed when information retrieval is required My wife will get the faster iPad This is a fun yet serious and useful tool and I use it for my business and for interacting with my teams The moderate 40 annual fee for the web use is very reasonable and I have comparison priced it very favorably over others that charge much more As I add more team members I will not have to pay any more fees Other apps and programs charge more initially and continue to charge more as users are added Im encouraging more of my team players to use PowerME Even if they choose not to get PowerMe they can continue to receive my updates without any cost to them or my team members Besides the ease of use and flexibility this has given me peace of mind that I can track all of my activities both business and personal My business has improved and that alone makes this tremendously valuable PowerMe is my number one program and app I continue to use Powerme with my iPad iPhone and desktop even after several years By managing all my activities and using it as a source of idea capturing and furthering my business this app is my daily go to experience                 Extremely pleased with PowerMe and the support

Theres more tools in there than I need but its cool to know that If I do need them they are there I like taking my office documents with me on my iPad and viewing right on the iPad The other thing I like is how I can share my tasks and projects with other people so we can work together to get things done I dont think its fair to call this just a task management app Its got lots of useful features for professionals with an iPhone or iPad                 Awesome stuff

For 30 I really think this software is completely unsatisfactory I have logged several issues with the developer and they are pretty simple Completed tasks disappear instead of moving to the COMPLETED tab once you assign a task to someone you cannot change the field to update it it lacks the functionality to repeat a task on a specific day tuesday first Monday etc you cannot filter tasks based upon task fields once a task is assigned to others it does not appear on the Team Room tab which appears to be the only purpose of the tab Also the sync functionality is free only for the first month THen its 30annually Big Rip off     Pretty poor attempt at task management

I finally have an app that works across all of my devices and doc storage sites I cant wait to get others in my company on this so we can share task and information faster and more efficiently I can use this on my pc iPhone and iPad and all my information syncs I like the flexibility of using folders projects or tasks I have downloaded and paid for countless task and organization apps and none come close to the simple design of this app It make since I had an issue getting my Google Apps Docs to load I contacted support and they have done an outstanding job helping me work through the problem They called back with a solution in just a few minutes Thanks for the help Tom I cant wait to see the new products and addons they have discussed today                 Great app and Fantastic support

This is a very good task management app and helps make the iPad a great tool for business Its expensive for an iPad app but is the best task manager I have found The ability to group related tasks to Projects and Folders and assign tasks even to others who dont use powerme are great features Their support is also excellent This app is very good now and will only get better A few more tweaks and improvements and this will be a five star app I would definitely buy it again              Good almost great

I rely on this app for everything I do now It stores the documents I need on the go and it keeps track of what Im supposed to do next I love having a tool that takes care of the details of my life for me Syncing is awesome sharing is a necessity and I dont know what Id do without powerme                 Fits all my needs

I purchased this program for my iPad approximately 1 week ago There were problems almost immediately with its operation and performance The basic functions worked but details were lost or jumbled between the internet site and the sites contained on my iPhone or iPad I have requested assistance through their web site submission and their direct email address To date I have heard nothing back The problems persist I am not sure that I want to be in a position to rely upon a company that cannot respond to requests within 7 days Of course I am left with the issue of how do I go about getting a refund or of gettting problem fixed my preferred choice Be very careful I note that the number of sales are not large for this I am sure that price has something to do with this and if my experience is typical their service also is playing a role     Request for response

OMG I have been looking for an app that does all this since the app store opened I have tried countless apps to help me stay organized but none Ive been able to stick with This one works for me Even syncs with my work calendar And well Finally Try it out Youll love it too                 FINALLY FOUND IT

This app is great It helps me organize my life and I can carry all of my documents with me all the time The real highlight for me is the ability to sync everything I do from my computer to my phone and ipad If you take the time to figure out all that this app has to offer you will realize that it is extremely valuable                 Awesome

It took me months to decide to buy this app It looked very good their website is very professional it seemed that they provided most of the functionalities that I wanted etc but at the end of the day it is an expensive app especially if you subscribe to their online service as well Hence the hesitation I finally made the jump and bought it My only regret why did I waited so long for buying it It is everything I thought it was and more I am still using their 30 days trial for the subscription but I will most likely buy it My only remaining concern it doesnt seem that they are updating the app very frequently and I just hope that they have not giving up on this app Otherwise really really good                 One of the best

I love powerme HD Obviously the people who reviewed recently did not understand this product This product is amazing I can make a project and my whole team can help and modify Google docs and Dropbox is fantastic with this I can store audio pics documents and more This is a must buy app Its totally worth the 2999 price as its a universal build that works on iPhone and iPad The ability to sync to the web as well makes this app extraordinary and the support guy Tom is super helpful                 This app is pure power

UPDATE Customer Support responded very quickly to my crash issue noted below They handled this issue in a very responsible and accommodating way I will not be more specific than that because I dont want to put the company on the hook to have to give the same response to others In addition I have used the app on my iPad and iPhone enough to appreciate it more and more There are some features that my much loved OmniFocus doesnt yet have that will likely keep me using PowerME HD for the foreseeable future I still have to withhold a star because the sync function is not consistent even after physically hitting the sync icon on both devices tasks wont always sync across I will say that after understanding the full functionality of the sync online and team sharing of their onlinesync service Im less inclined to say its overpriced however there still should be a free or much lower priced sync and backup service for those that use two devices but dont need or want the online and team sharing function UPDATE Now the application does not work at all on my iPad or my iPhone I can open the app on both devices but it is totally dead Tapping on all icons renders no response at all I am completely unable to access anything in this app I am at work and unable to access my daily tasks meetings and projects Totally useless I have deleted and reinstalled the app on the devices and still unable to get a response from tapping on any of the icons Glad I chose not to invest in the yearly 40 charge Disclaimer I want to admit that I am a longtime user of Omnifocus which is a much higherend task and project manager with significantly more depth than PowerME HD currently offers and is significantly lower priced With that said I really love three things about PowerMe HD how they utilize the notes function I just like using it better than notes in Omnifocus The ability to highlight text and turn it into a task with a click however I wish that new task would land in the Inbox instead of burying itself within the task folder you are in its not easily found after leaving the particular folder and there is no ability to add due dates and other specifiers until you open the task later making it a less convenient function than it truly could be The other thing I like is the ability to include various formats of documents right there in the application and have them attached to folders and tasks They are not always able to be edited as claimed even Word documents for some reason Still this is great functionality and useful Why two stars The sync function is very unreliable between iPad and iPhone and what makes this worse is that they CHARGE you an EXTRA 40 A YEAR just to sync between your devices and their web app if you use that Really Who does that I am not aware of any other application that charges its customers to sync between devices though there may be some Even the money hungry Apple no longer charges for its Cloud service unless you purchase additional storage options Even if the sync function worked well and it does not it would not be worth anything close to 40 a year They pin you in by not allowing any other sync service such as iCloud you are stuck using their unreliable sync service You do get a free trial period some places says 30 days and some says up to 90 days free so Im not sure which is true A free trial of a 40 a year sync service is probably more convenient for the folks at AppTime than the customer as it allows you enough time to invest a lot of data making it hard to say no at the end of your trial Who wants to start over in a new app rightYou can back up and store stuff on google docs and drop box however the 40 yearly charge for syncing and use of the web app which is too slow to be useful to me is additional insult to the overpriced application but for the price of the HD version you do get both the iPad and the iPhone downloads so that is a plus I plan to continue using the app through my free trial sync period but will not dish out any additional charge to the company for sync services At that point I will continue using Omnifocus and will be requesting they add the ability to turn highlighted text into tasks UPDATE Its only fair to people who rely on user reviews to help decide purchases that include the following The app crashes frequently mostly when hitting the done button in notes iPad version only so far and does not always respond to tapping on icons in both iPad and iPhone versions sometimes requiring 4 5 or more taps to get a response I emailed customer support a week or so ago but did not receive a response This app has huge potential but is not primetime ready as is As consumers let us never allow companies to charge us for sync unless they offer the ability to use a free sync service instead              Will cost you more than this work in progress is currently worth

Several of the functions they advertise as part of this software are only available if you purchase their online package as well such as task assignment Secondly you can only assign a task by providing a working email address for the assignee Im sure that they then use it to sell their service to them as well Ive spent very little time looking at the program itself because I refuse to spend 40 for the online service so the software will be very limited to me and thus useless The developers need to be more honest about what you get This is nothing more than a glorified To Do list without the online service Not worth 30     False advertising BEWARE

I have been looking at this app for a while and like a dummy purchased 3 or 4 other apps and none were laid out as good Very simple and straight forward One very big factor is the online platform is only 3999 per year The other software I was using was 999 per month and it wasnt as easy to use Best of all when I purchased the iPad app I was able to load it on my iPhone too Most developers charge for both apps Because I use several cloudtype programs for my business I like this aspect The sync feature is quick and efficient Have had a couple of questions and have been pretty satisfied with the support as well                 Finally

I dont think Ive ever written an app review but this one calls for me to make an exception Ive for years looked high and low for a projectlife management app that matches how I roll The closest I had come before PowerMe HD was OmniFocus As useful a GTD app as that is I never warmed up to it And I therefore underutilized it I hesitated to purchase PowerMe in part because of its price and in part because of what some users had written here After doing as much research as I could I finally decided to take the plunge I am delighted I did This app is organized like I think For me and my project task team management needs its simply outstanding and outstandingly simple All I can assume about those who wrote lessthanglowing reviews of this app is that 1 they didnt need what this app does 2 the way they manage their projects and tasks doesnt match this apps architecture 3 they didnt feel inclined to take the time necessary to master the apps architecture so they could set it up to meet their needs or 4 that when they reviewed this app it wasnt yet as developed as it is now Sure before forking over PowerMes relatively high price of admission and the annual sync fee do your due diligence just like I did But if your mind works anything like mine and you have so many projects and tasks to remember and manage that being able to sync them on your smart phone tablet and computer is a necessity I believe youre going to love this app as much as I do                 Just what Ive been looking for

Ever since I purchased my iPad back in May Ive been trying to figure out how to make my mobile self much more productive PowerME brings everything together for me I can enter in my thoughts and actions as they occur I can organize my projects and send out assignments directly to my colleagues I can keep everything I need for a project in one location documents notes tasks assignments and whether Im on my desktop iPhone or iPad everything is right there for me synced and up to date Ive been using this productivity solution for a few weeks now and it has become one of only a few important apps I use throughout the day every day I use it for my work personal and for other things Im associated with such as my church PowerME proved to be extremely valuable on a recent trip I literally only carried my iPhone and iPad leaving my laptop behindfor the first time ever I had everything I needed for my work with me and PowerME is what made it possible Before I would need to carry my laptop with me everywhere I went Not any more Its a cool app solution that has greatly increased my productivity                 I love this app

I wrote their customer service last week about an error that continues to occur on a daily basis error505 Apparently a pile on text fills the notes section of a random task therefore jamming the entire application Thankfully I have discover on my own how to correct the situation but this takes me at least twenty minutes to locate and correct each time this occurs I have inquired the customer service for support but have not received any Real support Last week I asked for my 70 dollars back after only a week of using this app because after spending that much money on a iPad application I expect it to function properly The only support I received was delete the application and reload it sorry Well this caused me considerable time and money as I had to remember and rewrite all of my tasks This happened twice I have been waiting for four days now for a new response and I am willing to continue using the application if it functioned properly but again I have received no real solution to how my situation as a paying customer can be corrected The application has potential but the customer service is horrible and the bug is costly and damaging        BEWARE COSTLY BUG AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
