Polo Coach

1 I assume this app was not intended to replace paper but it seems a couple of obvious need to have yet missing functions are a ability to edit an existing entry and b ability to see the chronological game detail that you would see in a book especially since youre prompted to enter clock times 2 Also the Help section is inoperable it appears to simply be a link to a website for which the domain name hasnt been renewed which would be fine if test entries could be deleted except there is no delete or edit function 3 The cost of the app is significantly less than a couple of other water polo stats apps but seems overpriced relative to basketball stats apps Ive used in the past with much better functionality        Needs edit function and viewable game log

This app seems like a great idea but it continuously crashes when trying to add the roster 499 seems like a lot of money for an app that doesnt work     App keeps crashing when I try to add the roster

I used the app for the 1st time time today at a game It is very functional and easy to use The only downside is it not operating in landscape format At an outdoor pool I needed to remove my polarized sunglasses to view the screen in portrait format It probably wouldnt be an issue at an indoor pool but in Southern California its hard to be on the pool deck without sunglasses Hopefully this functionality will be added with summer coming                 Wish it worked in landscape format

I am a water polo coach in SoCal and have been looking for a stats app that I can use on the fly to keep track of what I need to and this app is just that I have had an opportunity to play with it and see what it does It looks like it will fit the bill I am looking forward to updates an improvements in the future as the sport is always changing I look forward to using it in a game and tournament situation                 Finally an App For Water Polo Coaches By Water Polo Coaches

A really nice beginning to a Waterpolo stats application Ive used it for a weekend tournament and it does pretty good It needs to have the option to make an adjustment after a stat has been entered and it needs to reflect correctly on the stats review page It would be great if I could export the information into a spreadsheet on my computer at home I really hope these corrections can be made soon or back to handwriting stats for the year              Works okay still needs some adjusting

If you are a water polo coach this app is for you Having the ability to take stats on an iPad is great on its own but the addition of the shot chart is amazing It feels like it would take too much time to record the shooter and shot location for every shot but it only takes seconds and the information provided is amazing I can look on the chart as the game goes along to notice trends within the game This provides another tool on the bench to help make decisions and adjustments This weekend I had one HS student use the app for 5 games Alone he was able to cover all of the stats and shot charts Now I have all of our stats shot charts on all players and reviews that I can email I would highly recommend this app to any water polo coach Update I have now used the app for the entire boys HS season and the girls as well By the time boys season had concluded we had quite a few kids who could do all stats alone or with verbal assistance At the all league meeting it was easy to see my players stats for league under the review section                 Awesome in game water polo app
