Not ready for prime time

by mraichele The interface of the app is gorgeous. The functionality is terrible. Podcasts will be randomly switched between "played" and "unplayed." Downloaded podcasts will be removed, causing you to have to re-download. This can eat up serious data if you`re not on wi-fi. The app will freeze and become sluggish, especially at launch. Can`t subscribe to podcasts that require logins. Looks like I still have to use iTunes on my Mac for subscribing and syncing podcasts to my iDevices. So sad. *sigh*

Unbelievably it`s getting worse

I want to like it, but...

2. It crashes a lot
3. It can`t handle any podcast which requires a login (??)
4. Podcasts that are searchable in iTunes (Coast to Coast AM) are nowhere to be found in the "catalog"
5. The above podcast can`t be subscribed to, as it requires a login. I can`t seem to find the option to enter it anyway.

So far, it`s worse than using the Music app and syncing with iTunes, which I do anyway, to refresh smart playlists. Also, other apps are MUCH better at being a standalone Podcast app---Downcast and Podcaster5 do what this app should do, immensely better and without the sluggishness and crashing. This is a big, fat FAIL for me....STILL, after the most recent update.
