Fraudulent Purchasing!

by larrybeo This is a subscription based service, and Ovalkey does not explain this when you pay. In late March I purchased the "Pocketlife Upgrade" for $2.99 but cannot access the calendar past 2012. It states that every year we are to continue to pay .99 so that the app will not "go dead in the app store". This is upsetting because when I spent $2.99 for the "Upgrade" it was not stated that my $3 was paying for a product I could only use for 8 months. I am now frustratingly locked in a yearly subscription calendar app that I do not want to be a part of! Apple needs to remove this developer from their store. Ovalkey`s interpretation of ethical integrity is astounding. I want my $3 back, I didn`t get what I paid for. I contacted the company and they responded with an email stating it is a business model they decided on to allow them to continue to support the app. If they properly explained this in the In-App purchasing they would be out of business because no one would pay $2.99 upfront for nothing only to get locked in to a subscription service for a freaking calendar. I`m in the wrong business if Apple continues to allow this to happy - I need to go and work for a lucrative company like Ovalkey!

Great Calendar

by cutefeet_30 Great way to organize! One BIG problem, though: it deletes my previous month`s entries! I need those- that`s the whole point! ALL of the previous months I want! Also, 2 irritating things: 1- unless my phone is on until just after midnight the next day, I have to go into the app each day for the date to change. 2- the date is the same icon & color as notifications. I HATE having any notifications showing. Can this be changed? PLEASE FIX THESE 3 PROBLEMS!!!
