I was nervous to try this because of the reviews but Im glad I took a chance The app is easy to navigate and I was able to place an order without any stress The people who do the mowing showed up on the day they were supposed and did a fantastic job Very professional I will definitely be using this app again I encourage everyone to try this service You wont be disappointed                 Highly Impressed

My first attempt with the app was a bust no show no reply nothing I decided to give it a second chance I ordered it for a Thursday nothing and again no word from anybody Friday at lunch I get an email telling me it was done and sent the picture OF THE EMPTY LOT BEHIND MY HOUSE I did add a note to my request stating now back yard to the ridge ie EMPTY LOT BEHIND MY HOUSE My husband says it appears that instead of mowing the yard in the actual address I gave they mowed the EMPTY LOT BEHIND MY HOUSE I am impatiently waiting for them to respond to my complaint and demand for refund PS I work at Apple with developer support this smells of a scam     HORRIBLE SHOULD BE ZERO STARS

I normally do my own yardwork but my mower was on the fritz so I thought Id give this a try I recommend you dont make the same mistake The only reasonable part about all of this was the price It was decent because they offered a 15 off coupon for the first mow Totally not worth it as youll see First the guy showed up a day early I just happened to come home and saw him mowing the front yard so I unlocked my back gates for him Then he finished the front yardand just left Quite confused I opened up the app and it said job completed Huh So I called customer service They apologized and said they would have the problem corrected Then 30 minutes later I hear a mower starting up in my backyard The problem It was now after 830pm and dark outside After 15 minutes of mowing in the dark he left again But not before freaking out my elderly neighbor who was ready to call the cops As you might imagine the results were horrible Only about half the back yard was done and the parts he did do were sloppy because thats what happens when you mow in the dark So I called customer service a second time They apologized again and promised to correct the problem That was two days ago and Ive heard nothing So I called customer service a third time This time there was no answer Left a message no response I wanted to give these guys every chance I think the idea is a good one but obviously poorly executed Based on multiple reviews here theyve totally dropped the ball Save your money and find a good local provider you can trust This is no Uber     Horrible job horrible customer service

They put a hold on the money very efficiently Then nothing No show no email no anything Mowed it myself deleted app Oh well     No show

This app not only scams its customers and takes your money but if they do get someone to service your property it is horrible Grass left everywhere They are not professional companies who offer a professional service Your way better off dealing with a local landscaper Oh and customer service What a joke Very rude personell and I read some reviews and people are saying the same thing as me so take our advice and stay away from this app     DO NOT USE

Tried this app because it was billed as the Uber of lawn mowing Well I never had to wait 3 days for an Uber car nor another 5 days for them to get the job done right After the first now there were grass clippings all over the yard patio deck and fence So they sent the provider back He proceeded to provide the same level of service I had to go outside and point out the spots he missed as well as where he needed to clean up This was a trial run For regular service Ill go elsewhere     Poor level of service

On demand service is more and more a part of our lives and having a service like this makes things a lot easier                 Plowz Mowz is the best

The only reason why I gave them one star is because I couldnt give them ZERO I ordered my lawn to be mowed a WEEK AND A HALF AGO and still nothing They made promises after promises after promises and the end result was me canceling my order DO NOT go with this company I will be telling everyone I know by word of mouth not to try them Id have better chances of walking on the moon then getting them to do their job DONT USE     HORRIBLE Horrible

First they sent someone who cut a hole in my fence somehow I still have no idea how they did this Then after reaching out to William cofounder he sent someone else for free to mow the yard the following week This group went into a separate fenced in garden and leveled it Cut squash flowering pumpkin plants and more Let me repeat they went into a fenced in area that was very obviously a garden and cut it all down William the cofounder of mowz said hed make it better by immediately sending a large shipment of pumpkins to replace what we had lost Six weeks later a tiny box arrived with two small baby pumpkins rolling around inside The baby pumpkins you painted as a child These people are absurd Dont waste your money or your time Ive had friends who have had very similar issues with them after my experience The owners of the company clearly dont understand that you cannot run a business successfully without quality customer service To top it off we spoke with the two grass companies they sent us and they explained that mowz pays them next to nothing and its just something lawn companies use to fill empty slots in their schedule So if youre scheduled but a lawn company picks up actual paying work they wont even show up for your mowz job And if they do show up theyre so bitter about how little theyre being paid theyre careless Also they both said mowz lies to them about the size of the yards and the amount of work involved so lawn care arrives expecting a shorter simpler job and they end up spending far longer there than planned which cuts into their paying clients work And lastly they said mowz doesnt relay the special notes you give upon scheduling in the app If you say dont touch this particular area of the yard where Im trying very hard to grow a tree they wont relay that then the lawn company will now over it and get in troublefired for not knowing they were supposed to avoid it in the first place What a headache for everyone involved     Terrible terrible service and customer service

iUsed to use Mowz all the time about a year and a half ago I was offered same day service discountsetc Front yard and back yard arent big at all 27 is what the fee WAS Now its 45my money was takenand the guys never showed up Never got an email confirmation or text or call I used to get all 3 the last time I used Mowzyear and a half ago The customer service was very cut and drySorry thats all he said What about my yardOh Ill just cancel that for you Anything else you need WHAT Are you kidding YeahI NEED MY YARD CUT My lawnmower is broken so Im trying to give this company some business in the meantime Thanks but no thanks Im good Deleting this app now Yowza     Smh

This application is Piece of junk I have iPhone 5s and version 7 12 and not even opening It need to be tested first than should be available in apple store If u need any help testing let me know I can do it But its bad impression if app dont work     Not able to open the app

Ive been dealing with plowz and mowz for a very long time and they are the rudest and most dishonest people you can ever deal with First off they scam their customers and the service providers are not professional landscapers Your much better off calling a local landscape company to deal with They cut the grass and leave all the grass on the sidewalks and curbs so when you arrive to your home their is a big mess waiting for you outside User beware     Garbage app DO NOT USE

This is a terrible app I placed two orders for lawn service and could not track either of the orders after they were placed on the app Since I wasnt able to track the original order I placed I ordered another lawn cutting which I couldnt track either So while on vacation I purchased 2 lawn cuttings for the property Thanks Guys     DO NOT USE

I ordered my first Lawn mowing and other than the provider not picking up the clippings from the street it worked as advertised and we were very pleasedand that was it The next two requests were NO SHOWS resulting in having an 8 inch lawn on our return I wont use this service againthe sad thing is it is a great idea Also Beware of the positive review usernames with names and numbers eg james123They are fodder reviewslook at the REAL ones and you will find the truth     Great in concept POOR in execution

I was immensely impressed that the yard was completed on an earlier date I came home from errands and they were completing the finishing touches They thought ahead and were in the area Very considerate and smart              Conveinant and mowed early

I used mowz for the first time this summer as it was a bit more affordable than the lane care services I use on my personal and rental properties I tested out Mowz on my own home as a trial run to see how reliable it is before introducing it into my rental property business The first two times providers showed up and did an average level of service The third time no one showed up I spoke with Gerard on many occasions who assured me that he had switched providers and that it would be done on a specific day That day came and went with no provider showing up You get what you pay for when it comes to a reliable service provider Business model is interesting unfortunately hiring a contractor on your own will be more reliable     Unreliable business

I setup my mow for 4 days in advance and it was still active over a week later so I canceled and called Customer service said it was a hold and the money would be back on my card soon Also that they are still growing and to keep trying to get mows as they are always getting new areas So a week later I tried it and they sent me an email saying they dont and wont cover my area and the money hold will be refunded soon Here we are 3 weeks later and my lawn is 6 inches tall its going to take me a full day to triple mow it I thought thats what I paid for Do not use this service I just hope I get my money back     Should be zero stars

The app is fine simple and to the point but the service is awful They dont bother showing or show on the wrong day and the quality of the work is just mediocre They could care less whether you actually get the service youre willing to pay a premium for Theyre really horrible service providers Def NOT the Uber of lawn mowing     Ok app rotten service

I live in New England and our winters have been getting worse I love that with this app I can easily find someone local to plow my driveway quick Paying is easy since everything is done via the app So convenient and easy to use                 Great app

I cant try the app because it crashes as soon as I try to start it The worst part is Im a potential contractor and not a customer so Im really worried about that If its crashing for me Is it also crashing for potential customers Customers cant request service if the app doesnt load and contractors cant get requests and perform service if the app doesnt load This I feel is a major flaw     App crashed before startup

Avoid at all costs and dont make the mistake I made Jobs sit pending for over a week as my lawn got longer and longer I was contacted multiple times with price adjustments and when the provider did show up he left my lawn half finished as he got frustrated This is a poorly executed gimmick with terrible management     Ignore the fake reviews this company is a joke

WOW Ive used Plowz Mowz throughout the season and have been impressed with their great app and awesome customer service Its pretty cool to be able to tap a few buttons and get a mow right to my door step The best part is I dont have to sign any contract or anything Thats a deal breaker for me which makes this app perfect I pay for them to mowonly when I want it I just learned they do leaf removal toonow thats cool Cant ever get anyone to come do that for me Great service Very Impressed Looking forward to using them again in winter                 Awesome idea Im hooked

Ordered a job Mowz sent multiple emails saying they can not find a company to provide the service so I canceled but never received an email back confirming the cancellation or a credit dont wast your time picked up the phone and had the grass cut in two days at a better price     Wish I could leave one star

I just ordered a mow for the first time this week The app is very easy to use We had an issue with the first provider not showing up but when we called the customer service was excellent They found a new provider who came out very quickly and who did a great job                 Very pleased

DO NOT USE THIS APP I scheduled a mow Person showed up a day early didnt knock or let me know they were here and started mowing in my back yard with a gated privacy fence My dogs were out and of course the dogs didnt know them so this was a big issue I had to deal with Then the 2 men never asked any questions or anything One mowed while the other trimmed but I noticed the guy doing trim was goin fast and missing most I asked about doing better and edging and he said ok Then I noticed they were in the front yard and they didnt mow under or move the trampoline I asked about this and they said they do not move things and said they would mow if I moved it I moved it and they mowed I went back inside and 15 minutes later I looked outside and I have numerous lines of uncut grass It wasnt trimmed everywhere and they didnt edge I paid 35 for my 15 acre lawn Ive gotten it done for 30 and its perfect No way to see who they assign No way to contact them No way to rate the individual person doing lawn work Very disappointed Sent message to company and no response     Worst experience ever

This app is very easy to use and awesome service I got professional services at the push of a button From downloading the app to scheduling the service everything was perfect When they showed up everything was done so fast and efficient I was truly amazed                 Perfect

I love this service app No longer tied to service contracts for snow or lawn service Its so simple once set up which only took minutes it now takes none of my time Service is all automated with text alerts when service is complete If anything Id like them to eventually expand to gutters windows fertilizing weeding etc Well done Brilliant business model                 Easy responsive good work

As a provider to Mowz I think the app could be better and the info we receive is better When a new job comes up the job should be at the top of the list so we know what is new Also I think we should know if there is a gate for a fenced in yard On three occasions Ive have arrived at the property to find out the gate is too small for my mowers Also maybe a review system for us providers to be judged by the end user To the people that have had bad experiences with some of the contractors that show up to service their yard Im sorry You will get a few bad apples in the bunch I know that I treat the yard as if it were one of my own properties Overall I enjoy working with the company and they want everyone to be happy        Needs work

I am updating a review I left a month ago I was very upset when I left my review I had ordered a mow and it was never completed and the customer service rep finally just said Ill cancel it for you Have a nice day That was after a week of calling and emailing The owner of the company got wind of this and called me on my cell phone and had someone out there the next day for free and emailed me a 50 gift card to one of my favorite restaurants He did a very good job at calming me down and making the situation better I do however think he should let a few in customer service go I was told my case served as a case study for them and I truly do believe they are committed to improving As for the app itself Its fine nothing fancy It has always worked for me As for their work Its okay not perfect but good enough Good in a pinch Tin my experience and with the providers who have serviced my yard they have always left it very long so it needs mowed 5 days later But when you cant do it yourself due to time the app is convenient and works And the job is good enough           Updated Review

I love this app I had fast amazing service and it was so easy to set up also This app is my favorite right now while my husband is gone I dont have to worry about the HOA sending me a nasty note                 Amazing

The first time I scheduled a job they came right on time The second time they did not show did not say when they would show and generally cannot reach anyone to ask about what is going on For the cost of a mow I can keep my neighbor kids doing it all summer and they will tell me what the status is     Horrible communication

Read a lot of bad reviews after I tried the service luckily I did not have any issue with the provider not showing The provider did a good job but the app quote price a little high I would use again in a pinch              Worked for me

Ive used both the mow and plow services with this app The app is easy to use and makes bookings a breeze Although Ive had a couple hiccups with jobs being pushed back a few days either due to weather or issues with the mowers equipment However customer service resolved my issues and gave me a 10 discount in price Ive recommended this app to several people Theyre happy with the app and service as well              Mowz and Plowz

Like the other reviews good concept poor and dishonorable execution They wont delivered as agreed or not deliver at all I presume this is an app startup just a middleman charging fees connecting demand for mowingplowing services with local service providers With no commitment or contractual tie between mowzplowz local providers will only deliver when they have idle resources sitting there doing nothing since jobs from mowzplowz are less profitable     Dont bother they wont deliver

Scheduled a Friday mow and received email about a rain delayreschedule for Saturday Email Mr Doolittle yes thats really is name and apparently its accurate from Mowz on Saturday for mor info about the delay No response It is now Monday and I still need my lawn mowed and still no word from Mr Doolittle Awful customer service 72 hours and no response     Still Waiting
