This app is great for looking up all the shows getting good little side articles and it seems to stream just fine One tweak is to make images rotatable to landscape mode that are posted along with articles I can zoom in and pan around of course just a suggestion Im a little confused with the duplicated truncated articles I listened to the small version of a few episodes at first not realizing the whole thing was much more detailed and interesting I guess some people want a 3 or 4 minute snippet Thats hard to manage during my 90 minute commute Maybe have an area for full episodes and another for the partial Thanks for all the great content              Love the contenta few tweaks

PLEASE enable the download to store podcasts for offline listening Otherwise theres no point in having the app     Love the Podcast but the App is faulty

Im reviewing the app here not the radio program itself which I enjoy as one of the best NPR programs This app is halfbaked It crashes easily right in the middle of playing something Its a pretty amateur job overall The programmers must have read iOS programming for dummies or something and quickly hacked this one out without much testing The builtin podcast app is much better obviously its from Apple so you can expect it to work properly     Excellent radio program bad iOS program

The app features a lot of charts but they are too small to read and you cant enlarge or zoom in to them        Cannot enlarge

Love the show but this app is the worst It doesnt even load anymore All I get is a blank screen and the little swirly icon telling me to wait Had to go to the NPR app to check for new episodes Boo     Boo

Installed it It started loading old content Got to sometime in Feb and now crashes every time I open it     Broken

Not exactly news but then I figure the developers need the feedback On my iPod Touch the app worked fine for the first couple of accesses but then despite a great WiFi connection the app stopped providing any content Just an empty list regardless of the setting I use audio reports only etc Might this have something to do with my having scrolled W A Y back to view content from months earlier Now it never works It has been months and there was an update that I applied still no dice        Love the Content app wont provide it

I give 3 stars cuz I can listen to show but app is very so so First I listened to many stories yesterday and none were marked in Listened Queue Second user should be able to mark shows already listened to not on app Third podcasts should flow fwd or backward from one to another w the ability to skip shows already heard I was hoping to easily start from episode 1 and listen easily from there           So so

Love planet money but hate this app How hard is it to get an app that plays recent content in a timely manner Its January 6 th and Id like to hear the podcast from the 4th but it doesnt show up And when I try to search for episode 427nothing Just a black screen When I use a keyword to search lebron nothing black screen And when I use safari to try to listen to the episode it wont play Argh     Whats that smell This app It stinks

Planet Money is great the Planet Money app is not Its a resource hog with and the podcasts constantly freeze An update is way overdue I suppose you can try it and if or when you run into a problem you can delete it     Poor App

Love Planet Money Thats why I downloaded the app Problem is that the content doesnt update I downloaded in late May and the content hasnt changed since then I updated to v11 and still the content is stuck in late May I continue to read and listen just not on the app        Great Content Mediocre App

The app is great and luckly have no issues or crashes a suggestion to make the app even better would be to further sort stories and episodes eg by date so older stories can be found quicker instead of endlessly scrolling Beyond that the app is amazing              Amazing but missing a little

App will not load any new content Hasnt updated since Dec 2012     App will not update

Ive Reinstalled this app 4 times and everytime I reinstall it works fine for two days then refuses to even launch I hate not being able to listen to one of my favorite podcasts because of this lousy app     Love PM hate the app

Planet Money is a great show and I listen to them regularly but their app doesnt work After installing it wont display any content I really wish theyd fix it because accessing their podcast on iTunes from my phone is starting to get tedious     Great podcast but nonfunctional app

The app does not have play all audio files in the queue I used to listen to planet money one program after the other on long trips now I cant I have to keep loving in to play the next program This app is a step backward Sorry guys I like the podcast but it has to work as before at minimum     Need a play all button

I am a big fan of Planet Money keep up the great reporting The app makes it easy for me to stay current on the episodes Thank you Planet Money Team                 Simple and easy to use app

I downloaded the update and expected new content to finally show up on the app Before the app wouldnt update past August last year Now the app is a little more up to date but the latest episode shown is from March 6 There have been 5 episodes since then     New content not shown

I was having the same problem as many people app with no content even after deleteinstall many times A restore seems to have solved the problem it now works great Its an extreme step but depends how much you want the content                 Restore solved the no content problem

I love planet money but whats up with the app not being updated since March 2013 Im sure more followers will ensue once this is resolved        Content update

If you leave the app running in the background even after the podcast is over iPhone alarms will only sound one cycle of their noise then cut off Definitely a problem if your phone is your alarm clock The podcasts are great the app is terrible     FLAW Kills your alarms

They finally had a decent app with NPR news and I used to love listening to planet money there Now they took off the content from there and made it hard to find and crashes all the time here Plus stops playing if you lock your screen Why NPR     Downgrade from NPR news app

As a longtime Planet Money fan I jumped on this app as soon as I heard about it The Planet Money podcast is fabulous but the app is terrible Frequent crashes long load times and general instability have plagued this app from Day 1 The most current release may be more stable I dont know They seem to have removed the ability to download episodes for later listening likely to address the stability problem However now the app is pretty much useless to me as the times when I historically listen is when I am offline and have time to listen with the most focus Historically I have used the app to queue up lots of episodes to listen to bingestyle when I am offline eg Airplane rides mountain driving etc so I apparently cant do that now Instead Ill have to ditch the app and go back to downloading episodes the old fashioned way and then manually sync them to my phone like an animal 1st world problem I know Again the Planet Money podcast is wonderful The app just isnt great at delivering that content     Great Content Poor App

This was a good app and then content dried up I reinstalled and the latest info is march of is year I saw an app update from Julywhat gives     Old content

This app stopped playing audio after an update to iOS a few weeks ago As a software engineer and economist I can imagine fixing this app should be a quick and painless process But Planet Money hasnt pushed an update for the longest time There is a poorif not nonexistentmaintenance schedule behind this app A humble word of advice to the people behind this application run your code through a test suite before releasing it to the public If you already have a test suite invest in it more Stay on top of code changes from Apple and rememberdeveloping an app always takes fewer resources than maintaining it For all software if you cant bring it to the long game dont bring it at all Planet Money is a great radio show with a great team It deserves better software than this     Audio App Doesnt Play Audio
