My wife and I have erratic schedules We use it to know when the other is leaving work Its a convenient way to know when the other will be getting home                 Eases communication

The automatic notification is really convenient Keep people connected The real time OntheGo is very cool The instant photo sharing seems magic                 Very nice family communicator

I cant login it does not like my phone number           After update today

I really like the idea of this app but ever since my wife and I have installed it we have found that our batterys drain incredibly fast They wont even last the better part of a day Also I wish there was a way to turn it off when we are together because we dont need to hear all of the notifications Now I know there is privacy mode but that doesnt stop the app from tracking where you go And that drains the battery Id like the ability to turn it off and not just hide it I even went into my location settings and turned that off for the app but there was still the immense battery drain           Drains the battery Had to uninstall

We use it with my daughters and grand children Really easy to use and helpful Though the place names are not always precise but after I corrected the names for a couple weeks it seems to be learning and becoming more accurate                 Really useful for our family

I love this app The interface the realtime tracking how you can share photos its all great My only issue is that there are some occasional glitches where you wont be able to find someone on the map Theyre not in private mode or trying to hide their location in any way the map just suddenly stops recognizing where they are and leaves a blank space There have been times where Ive been at home and out of nowhere I stop showing up on my familys maps We have noticed that when this happens the person does not show up on the map again until hours after they leave their location It can be very frustrating when youre trying to figure out where everyone is but other than that I really like this app              Awesome but some minor glitches

Both of my kids have iPhones and this helps me to know where they are                 Good to track your kids

Its been couple of weeks I am using this app I found it very useful as it sends me the location updated of my connections without explicitly asking for it It also keeps track of all the places that I visited on behalf of me Though this app can improve on battery consumption lag in notifications I would recommend this app to the users who are closely related and want to share this kind of updates with each other                 Great App

Maybe its a problem with just being released server load but it doesnt seem to show curent locations It takes forever to update locations sometimes over an hour Its essentially useless for tracking family or friends and I still have to us Apple Find Friends Also this app is a bit confusing to use Maybe its more obvious when I get used to it Trying to view the map drag down is difficult to get just right Locations are sometimes wrong and theres no way to fix that For example my home isnt on this so it shows me at the nearest business when Im at home and checks me in there It also checks me in to completely wrong businesses even when the app is open and the phone has a precise GPS fix on me at the right location It has potential but its buggy right now Ill update my review later when its working better Right now it simply doesnt work           Slow to update location

We used it during our recent Yellowstone tripthe app recorded the places we went very helpful both for us as memory refreshment and for our friends who want to use our itinerary as reference Good job                 Excellent app

I have been using this app for about a month now It has simplified our evenings My wife does not need to call me anymore in the middle of meetings desperately trying to figure out where am I or when I am leaving Additionally she can also watch me on the go and anticipate my arrival Apart from logging me out in low battery conditions this app has been a good experience Wish there was messaging integrated                 A useful app

This app was brought to my attention by spam email to an address I dont use to sign up for anything As such I dont care if this app is the next hot thing or fills a roll I could really use I bought it downloaded it promptly deleted it and left this review so others will be aware of their marketing tactics     Spammy

I love how this app shows me everywhere Ive been over the past couple of days I live in a dense city where its really easy to forget where you parked so being able to glance at the map and see my trail for the day is great                 Very helpful for coordination and recollection

I recently used this app during my vacation in Italy What an easy way to keep family members in touch with each other I was no longer worry about getting the group together or looking for people Instead I can relax and enjoy my trip Thanks PlaceUs                 Great app

At first I was a little confused a few places it told me I was at were wrong I did find that if I change the place in the Edit screen it would update my timeline and my friends timelines I wasnt sure if it would work but the next time I went to that place it got it right Ive been using it for about a week and it gets the places I go to regularly right and each time a different place I visit is wrong I fix it I guess the app just needs a little coaching but doing that is easy and it works                 Nice app does require some coaching to work right

Highly recommended if you have a child who start going places on his her own It gives you a peace of mind knowing they get to the places safely The name for all public locations such as shops schools community locations are accurate It allows you to change the name of place residence if the default is not right A very useful tool                 Accurate and Easy to Use

I was looking for a replacement for the Place Me app made by the same developer but no longer supported I guess as it no longer works This looked like it might be a good replacement but it was not it is slow to keep up often lagging a day behind It does not pinpoint where I am but lists me as being in an approximated place by a few blocks It is supposed to figure out your home and work location in 5 days but Ive been using it much longer than that but it hasnt figured those out yet and there is no way to manually add them that I can find This app has not proved useful to me so I am deleting it        Doesnt work as it should

So far the automatic nature of this app means I dont have to do anything to benefit from it Its cool how I dont have to textcall my friends or whatever about where I am or where they are when were trying to meet up While not perfect its been really accurate so far with the places Ive been to                 Even if I dont use it much its useful

Very helpful for my family and to track the arrival of my children The automatic nature of this app is refreshing in the world of apps that want you to interact with it constantly                 So far its been excellent

In general this app has one key advantage over many competitors it has near real time location When a family member or friend you invite on your map is moving their icon updates about every 5 seconds That is very handy I also like that you can see where they have been from trails made on the map and on the list And when they stop moving long enough for the app to figure out they will stay at that location the app emails you where they are That is also nice Notification Works well on my Apple Watch too But tracking motion is sometimes unreliable where it wont show the green line near real time update at all and shows only my friends last known location About an hour later I finally see it update This problem was horrible in the beginning but seems to be improving now The other issue is you can not turn off the pictures mode using the in app switch Instead you must go to the phones app settings and turn off pictures there Fix those issues and this would be a killer app Update The near real time location has been working much better Still cant turn off pic mode from inside the app Otherwise we use this every day And when using it with the Apple watch I never miss my friends location change Update 2 Now all email alerts stopped working When my friend stops at a location I always got emails Now nothing Update 3 The email alerts suddenly started working again This makes the app useful again           Been using it since almost day 1

I find placeus extraordinary in that it tracks my connections without me having to ask it to do so Automatic check ins and push notifications allow you to coordinate with your connections without having to send the typical where are you are you busy text If I see that my brother has left the house and arrived at the supermarket I can easily send him a text asking him to pick up milk As far as simplifying the interactions between close friends Alohars Placeus has no rivals                 Always Useful

At first I was skeptical but once I started to get the hang of it Place Us was truly fantastic It helps my Wife and me keep track of our tween daughter as she starts to go off with her friends on her own The peace of mind it grants us is unparalleled As a bonus it barely drains the battery life on our phones unlike other GPS apps Truly an amazing app                 Unexpectedly great

I love this app It helps me keep track of my family all over the country And photos are so easy to share I dont even have to do anything just take a pic and its shared Most importantly this app gives me piece of mind when my husband is out on long bike rides I used to worry about him until he was safely back home but now I can see where he is on his entire route And the kids love being able to watch him and they can see when hes going to be home Its the perfect answer to the question Is Dad going to be home soon                 One of the apps I use most

I use this with my wife and my two daughters who have 3 grandchildren together Though we live thousands of miles apart PlaceUs really help us stay close with each other The photo sharing also let us see the grandchildrens pictures instantly So nice                 Very helpful for our large family

I like it because I dont have to manually check places Its especial useful when you are going out with a group of friendsfamily You can know where they are exactly in real time The interface is very user friendly Even my grandma knows how to use it because she does not need to do anything lol                 Nice app to keep family and friends close
